(Dm me here or on Yelp for a recommendation for a wonderful lash tech!!!) Let me start this off by saying that I have had my lash extensions done professionally for 8 years. There are lash extensions that can look full, amazing, natural, wispy, and also can be done on you very comfortably... and then there are lash extensions that can be very uncomfortable, eyes burning during application, too much glue used, glued too close to your skin, too blocky, thick, and fake looking! Sometimes it's hard to see in pictures, but you can definitely tell the difference in real life. I'm sure you've seen those really heavy, blocky, obviously fake, dark thick lash extensions and you think to yourself oh wow, I would never wanna look like that. Well, that is how this place does their lashes. The artists are some of the worst I've seen between California and Vegas. I'm sure the reviews are bought and paid, or probably from people who just don't know any better and think this is as good as it gets. I'm guessing they try to delete bad reviews too because I've spoken to multiple people unhappy with this studio since my experiences!!!! I want other women to save their time and money by avoiding it here. I first had an appointment with a new artist who was less experienced than the others. I think they call them junior artists or something like that. She was very sweet and she did her best. But her hands were sweating the whole time and my lashes were too small, sparse, and felt crunchy at the end of the appointment.. It was clear to me that she was inexperienced. The lashes were coming out a couple days after the appointment. I contacted the studio again and informed them what happened with this first set. They offer me to go with a stylist named Aliyah, who they said is their top senior artist and always makes everyone happy/everyone always loves her work. So I said great. Let's give it a shot. The work done by Aliyah was so aggressively glued to my natural lashes and so heavy for the natural lashes that the set was so uncomfortable from the moment she started doing them all the way through to when I couldn't take it anymore and had to take them off (about a week later) My eyes were literally burning throughout the entire appointment and she just kept shushing me like a baby and wouldn't give me a fan to fan them until I asked multiple times. When the appointment was over, my eye was incredibly red, see the photo attached. This is not normal!!! and must be because of either the insane amount of glue that she was using or the fact that she doesn't use tape properly for the eyes or maybe the fact that she just glues the lashes way too close to the skin. Either way, this is not a style or preference issue, this is just flat out bad training and application. Then, at the end of the appointment, the red haired receptionist was pacing upset and rushing. I told her that I realized she was huffing and puffing and that I'll be out the door as soon as I look over my lashes and make sure I'm happy with them. She told me she was stressed out because her mom was picking her up from work. This was extremely unprofessional as I had just spent over $300 including gratuities for two sets that were not what I wanted. The owners only took off $30 from the first set btw. You want to be happy at the end of a 2 to 2 1/2 hour long appointment because of course you wanna be happy with the work and think that you just spent good time and money, so you may want to be polite like I was and say that "the sets were good/yes I'm happy" but in reality they're just really not and this is not the kind of place that is highly trained for lashes. I have found an amazing Borboleta trained artist who I am more than happy to recommend anyone who wants to send me a private message! If you can't send a private message through Google, you can find the same review on yelp and message me there and I will absolutely give you the information of the person I found who is highly trained. The lashes look amazing, naturally full and fluffy, and she applies them in a way that is so comfortable. Save your time and money and avoid Mallyna.

She had a cart of sensory toys for my son to play with & allotted for extra time to get him comfortable with her before she started his haircut. They either have a ton of availability or magically completely booked for the rest of the month. Odd huh? Anyhow, my first visit. I had an appointment with Heather Lee. I got a random text from one of their service to remind me of my appointment. No actual person messaged me. It's confusing who is the person running this place. I didn't even get a name. I walked into the place, with some guy sitting at the front just looked at me walked in and asked if I have an appointment. Not welcoming at all. It wasn't busy, no one was working. Next time try the simple, "Hello, How can we help you today?" I just sat down and waited 5-10 minutes until Heather came out to help me. I liked Heather's personality, she's nice and friendly. It looks as she just works for this place and has no say in anything. I was concern on getting my lashes done and asked a lot of questions. I FOLLOWED ALL THE INSTRUCTION BY THE WAY. You'll see why I'm saying this in a little bit. I was told by Heather Lee, that if I want more lashes, I'll have to pay more, the Groupon deal doesn't cover thick lashes... So she only put a thin layer on. I'm a back sleeper, the next morning I woke up over 12 lashes from my right eye fell out. This can not be normal. Over the 3-4 days more kept falling out. On the 5th day, I reached out to them telling them it's not normal that only my right eye was completely gone. I got an appointment exactly a week after I had them done the first time. I told them, this isn't acceptable that many fell out within a couple days. Someone texted me accusing me of getting them wet while showering. Ummm... they have my shower schedule now? I didn't wash my hair in a week. I sent them a photo, so then they told me Heather has an opening in two days. I said ok, I'll take it. I came in exactly a week later. The weird, awkward silent of the place is still there. There was a lady working on a customer at the time. She just looked at me and didn't say or asked me anything. I just sat down and waited until Heather was done with her current customer to grab me. Really, how do you run a business and not know common curiosity of acknowledging customers coming in? It just blows my mind. If I remembered correctly Heather said it's the owner.... Go figure why so much drama. Anyways, Heather looked at her schedule and said wow, I should have called earlier when it happened. I said well I called within 4-5 days and got the earliest appointment. I have a busy life can't just deal with something like this that takes hours, I would have time to make it in anyways. This time my lashes were better, she actually put a lot more lashes than the first time around. I actually liked them this time and not many has fallen out. Now trying to schedule my refill.... I reached out to them, May 5th, 2017, yesterday. All of a sudden the new management changed the day before.... and I'm not honored my fill I paid for. They offered me $50 from $65 for a fill. Wait a second, Heather Lee told me, there's a special for fills all summer long for $50. What exactly are they really trying to make it right? Overall I think this place is sketchy and a scam. Don't do any deals they offer, they will redeemed the offer and change "owner|management" on you so you'll lose your money. I didn't get to use my other half of my Groupon that I paid for. They refused to let me go get my refill and said they're not liable for the other half of the Groupon because it wasn't them. The same email and number responded to me. I'm not even mad about it, it's just so crazy how it went soooo south. LOL Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.

Last time being in Japan where they take pride in their work and pay close attention to detail. I was scared to do it because of a bad experience I had in San Antonio a couple years ago but saw great reviews for this place on Yelp and figured I'd give them a try. Well, I'm glad I did. They did an amazing job! The technician was gentle, meticulous, friendly and simply did a great job. I don't even feel like I have extensions on, which is great! You shouldn't feel them, they should feel natural and they do. My fiancé loves them and says they look glamorous. They don't bother my eyes and contacts. They're light and look so real. You can't tell where my lashes end and theirs begin. I love them! Makes it so easy to wake up in the morning and look bright eyed and ready to go! I wish they were permanent but oh well. I'll just have to go back for refills which is cheaper than the initial session because they just fill in the gaps as your natural lashes fall out. Definitely would recommend this place. The groupon gets you natural lash extensions in either short or medium. Take it from me, medium is long enough. Oh and I loved that they sent me home with an instruction sheet for post care. Very helpful.
