there are no words to convey my level of appreciation and gratitude for the cover of work that he did! You would never know that this is a cover-up piece because it is so beautiful and designed perfectly! I have many tattoos in which I have had regrets, this one was my biggest regret and I've had it for over 30 years. he was wonderful at allowing me a break to get through the pain with it on top of my foot! I called on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get my son in right away for a tattoo. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was organized making for an easy experience. The space is large and comfy, so I was able to watch a movie while he was in the back getting the tattoo done. It was an easy and friendly experience, we will definitely return! read more

Took my niece to Lucky You for a tattoo. She'd worked with the artist at her former place of employment and had previously given the woman a deposit, 1/2 the cost of the session and given her an idea of what she wanted. Time and a few changes later and finally my niece was able to get her tattoo done, She'd not yet seen the idea, a Frog, and given that she's afraid of them, she didn't know what to expect. The sketch she got was nothing short of adorable and amazing. The actual tattoo room is clean, smells good and is well lit. Their tables are nicely padded and it didn't take long at all for the ink to be laid into her skin. My niece has a beautiful, one of a kind froggy on her forearm that she totally loves. read more

We were on our last day of vacation and wanted to get a tattoo we had been putting off. We called Lucky You and they made accommodations for us to come in at 5pm on a Sunday evening. They were very professional and the studio is very clean. Excellent customer service. Craig, the owner/artist, is very talented and went above and beyond to give us a good experience. Only caveat is that the studio is cash only, so be prepared for that. read more

My mother and I went for matching tattoos to celebrate her cancer journey. We booked the apt the day before for 4 pm. I was told I'd get a confirmation email but wasn't told I had a deposit to pay prior. I didn't see the email till the day of. We got there at 3:50. Someone WHO WAS LATE for their 3:45 consultation came in at 4. The artist took him in and then another person came in about 15 min later for another consultation. I asked multiple times if we were going to start yet and the girl at the front said yes he'll be with you shortly. I asked her at 430 if the apt was at 4 or 430. She said 4 but said did you pay your deposit. I told her I didn't know I was suppose to. The artist didn't even take us back to start our tattoos till 530. I've got 23 tattoos now and I've never had someone make us wait that long with no communication (unless I asked) it seemed like they hid in the back for some reason. Then he put the stencil on and told us it needed to sit for 15 min. Again I have alot of tattoos and never had to do that. We weren't done with our pretty small tattoos till almost 8pm and they didn't even take more then an hr and 45 min in total. So we were there for almost 4 hours.. the tattoo shop was really cool looking. The tattoo artist was nice but I definitely felt it was unprofessional the way they made us wait and didn't even talk to us unless I asked what was going on. I had talked to them via fb msger so they should have shot me a msg saying hey check your email you need to pay your 50 dollar deposit. The 2 tattoos costed us 200 a piece. read more

The worst business practices I have encountered. It would be nice to have a confirmation, and communication instead of pretending like you don't see my messages. I paid my deposit for a tattoo that was on IG as available, immediately when asked! Finally after 4 months I was able to catch Sia online and confirmed a date. When I got to the shop, a 10 year child was the only person in the front, who informed me that I would be seen when Sia got finished. I have asked for my deposit refunded TWICE, continuing to be ignored. She may be a good artist, but she is also a thief and poor business person. I will not speak good of this place again, and it would have been my second tattoo from this place TWO THUMBS DOWN read more

SO my boyfriend and his friend wanted to get matching ass tattoo's the other day. They searched around a bit and found this place. I tagged along and seeing how clean, welcoming, and chill the place was- got a tattoo myself. (My first!) For anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing place I would highly recommend this one. The artist, Douglass Hoppe, completed my tattoo. He was very professional, calm, and and pretty chill to work with.
