They were efficient, professional, and very kind. MRI, x-rays, and mammogram all in one visit and it only took about an hour.

As he was the sole caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer's, he felt he should "get checked out" because he was older and wanted to be able to live to take care of my mom. Lyndsey and the reading radiologist both missed large hepatic (liver) tumors, as well as the primary cancer originating in his gallbladder (cholangiocarcinoma). I am an ultrasound tech / team lead / former clinical instructor in Portland, OR, and I have attempted to contact Kadlec regarding this issue so that they could educate the ultrasound staff and radiologist involved so that this does not happen to anyone else, but Kadlec doubled-down that nothing was missed on my fathers ultrasound. After my initial inquiry, my father's ultrasound exam underwent a secondary review and again, Kadlec denied missing any pathology visualized on his ultrasound. Whether that is the advice from legal or their genuine opinion is to be debated. As an ultrasound tech of 20 years experience who himself spent his ultrasound clinical externship at Kadlec (2005-2006), let me tell you, they are either wrong or lying, either of which should alarm any patient undergoing ultrasound examinations. Here, I will tell how Kadlec missed obvious cancer on my father in hopes that this reaches the staff involved so that they can learn from their mistakes and save lives in the future. To the staff at Kadlec (who I have desperately attempted to contact to inform of this, but administration blocks me from doing so) my father's MRN is 60005928634 and his ultrasound was performed on 9/3/25 in exam room 3. Exam begun at 8:55:46 8:56:31 - Suspicious left lobe nodule(s) visualized, notice nodular contour of liver 8:57:55 - Large tumor in the right lobe is visualized, approximately 5-5.5 cm 8:59:45 - Tumor again visualized and is directly centered within hepatic measurement. This measurement runs through the tumor, and it is not seen / mentioned / measured. 9:00:38 - 9:02:13 - Shows "sludge" adherent to anterior gallbladder wall in supine position. Sludge does not defy gravity and affix itself to the gallbladder wall. It is gravity dependent; that's why we roll patients into decub. Cancer does stick to the wall, however. 9:02:13 - Color Doppler images. Same scale and gain settings as used in hepatic and portal vein images. Large vessels such as the hepatic and portal veins have much more flow than tumors do, but no operator adjustments were made to pick up slow flow as would be seen in a cancer. 9:02:25 - 9:04:20 - Patient rolled into left lateral decubitus. No movement of "sludge", which proves adherence to gallbladder wall, which raises even more suspicion of gallbladder cancer. 9:05:43 - 9:06:08 - "Trace fluid" from report is actually hypoechoic portion of large right lobe tumor. This is not ascites. 9:06:56 - Does not show borders of kidney to measure. Adrenal mass missed because this area was never demonstrated on exam. Imaging of the right kidney re-demonstrates large right lobe tumor. My father died less than 2 months after a CT performed 12/20/25 diagnosed him with stage IV cancer. And yet Kadlec still says that his 9/3/25 ultrasound was clean.

The bills usually contain real procedures with dates of service, your doctor's name as well as insurance. This is absolutely a scam using stolen information from a HIPAA data breach. Do NOT give them any information about you. Do NOT pay them. Call your insurance company immediately as well as your doctor's office and where you had the procedure done to notify them. Do NOT call the phone numbers listed on the bills. This company has been reported to the Medicare fraud task force as well as the FBI task force investigating data breeches.
