Absolutely terrible experience with Inland Kenworth specifically this location This has honestly been one of the worst service experiences I've ever dealt with. They kept my truck for almost 2 months for an engine replacement, and after finally giving it back, the truck STILL had an active check engine light. I brought it back THREE different times for the exact same issue, and every time I got excuses instead of actual repairs. The customer service was awful from start to finish. Communication was poor, nobody seemed to care about the downtime they were causing, and getting updates was a constant struggle. For a truck that makes money every day it's on the road, keeping it sitting for months while failing to fix the problem is unacceptable. The quality of workmanship is even worse. After inspecting the truck myself, I found wiring routed carelessly, exposed connectors, the fuse box hanging by zip ties, and even main battery cables secured with zip ties. This is the type of work you'd expect from a backyard hack job -- not a Kenworth dealership charging premium labor rates. I attached photos because the pictures speak for themselves. I trusted this shop to properly replace an engine, but instead I got repeated downtime, unresolved check engine issues, and wiring work that honestly looks rushed and unsafe. I would never bring another truck here again, and I strongly recommend other owner-operators and fleet owners inspect every inch of their truck before leaving this shop. read more

Mr. Fabian Villalobos is a used truck sales consultant at Inland Kenworth, Tolleson, AZ. The words "integrity" & "sales consultant" are rarely found in the same sentence but Fabian is the exception. His superlative knowledge and experience with the industry is only surpassed by his genuine demeanor. Fabian did all he could possibly do on my behalf but because of personal circumstances unrelated to the purchase we were unable to close the deal. I had to back out. Fabian accepted my decline graciously and with understanding. He will be my first choice consultant once my circumstances change. read more

Inland Kenworth are by far the most incompetent team in the trucking industry. Their communication with clientele and among themselves is a 0/5. They never know what's going on, who the customer even is despite being given the name of company, unit number of truck and even the VIN of the truck. This didn't just happen once. You make the appointment, they get all this info. You show up for the appointment and have to give all that info again and they still can't find your appointment. You go to call about the outcome of their diagnosis and Juan through the same hoops every single time and they still can't find the truck in their system. They take forever to do work and then don't communicate at all until you chase them down with 3 phone calls. We show up for the truck and again even with all that info can't find the fckn truck. Then they don't fix anything on truck. We ordered a bumper for the front of the truck, all the same hoops. They also didn't order the damn bumper initially and on and on this nightmare has gone. So far we have a truck that's still useless and no bumper. These guys barely speak english, don't know wtf they are doing and don't seem to give a sht. They are genuinely terrible at their jobs. Terrible employees always means one thing, terrible leadership. Poor mentoring, poor performance management, zero accountability or culpability. If someone opened a business doing the same thing within 100 miles of inland kenworth the inland kenworth would be out of business inside a year. Maybe then they might build some infrastructure that would improve their team's performance. Yelp only lets you give a minimum of 1/5 stars, these guys would get a zero otherwise. read more

Inland Kenworth Phoenix is possibly the best KW service in the country and whenever I try and use another KW service facility I'm quickly reminded that no other dealership compares to Inland. My story starts at CIT Kenworth in Chicagoland, Absolutely and without doubt the worst KW service Dept in the country I've experienced..... I was having SCR/DPF issues, additionally I felt my truck was burning excessive amounts of coolant, so I brought my truck to CIT Kenworth in Mokena Illinois thinking this should be an easy fix. NOT so, CIT misdiagnosed the problem and started to run inspections that weren't even relevant to the problem the truck was having. CIT Truck charged me $400 to inspect for LEAKING coolant which I knew WAS NOT the issue and they also charged me another $350 to check for an Exhaust LEAK which I also knew WAS NOT the problem. Furthermore the tech who worked on my truck had removed the side panels which are secured by six (6) bolts as part of his inspection, yet when he reinstalled the panels he only bolted three (3) bolts per panel causing my side panels to rattle when parked and idling. Honestly if I can't trust a service department to properly reinstall 2 side panels how could I possibly trust them to do any work on my trucks. All in all I paid CIT KW over $900 to fix NOTHING and the problem persisted in the following days. Anyhow this story has a happy ending, the following week I drove this truck clear across the country to Inland KW in Phoenix AZ, within a half hour they were able to properly diagnose the issue, my software was out of date i had version EF10083.16 when the current software version was at 19, additionally I needed to have a DEF filter replaced. Inland KW fixed my truck within a few hours and I've had no issues since. Thank you Inland KW, btw your service reps at the front desk are always polite and professional. read more

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would! Took my '76 kenworth in for a transmission check and they said the whole tranny needs replaced. After getting it back 3 weeks later, the transmission seal BUSTED that same night. Took it back and they "fixed" it. Still was having trouble staying in 13th gear. Took it back a 3rd time and theyve now had it almost 1 month and are fu@$#ng around with me on when it will be done. Already spent over 5k on this to not have a truck for 3 months.. This is crazy and i will be dealing with this matter on a corporate level. read more

As soon as you buy a truck from them you are all on your own! We have bought 2 trucks from them!!!!!!! We have been lied (asking about the part for 2 months before we paid for it!!!!!) to & cheated. No problem taking our money for the truck or taking money for our parts but NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL. Bought a part for the truck we bought from them on 4-15-2021 (special order) have called everyday since for check up on part, STILL NOT RECIEVED THE PART TODAY MAY 13, 2021. Because we did not pay extra freight which was another $85.00, I was told today (after all the daily calls made) that we go back to bottom of list if another customer pays for extra freight. It's the worst place in Phoenix to be a parts runner & have to go get parts. The lady who accepts the payments is horrible.. She either makes the office fax over all kinds of forms to pay over the phone, or if your company gives you a credit card to try & get around her, she will make them fax the form's over anyway because your name is not on the card. She knows you because she has done this to you many times before & she will make you wait about 45 mins every time.. Your company has to pay you for standing around waiting. There have been 4 or 5 parts runners waiting in there with me more than once. This is 100% power trip.. she thinks it's funny, will laugh about it.. says it's because of fraud.. but when she has seen you as many times as she has seen me, and she has a copy of my drivers liscense with my address on it.. it's not like I could get away with anything.. this is all power trip.. & it is far from amusing... read more

No shuttle service for drivers, no water cooler just a place to sit in uncomfortable seats with other drivers and only high priced vending machines filled with junk food. To whom it may concern: Took my 2020 Kenworth t880 with 36,811 miles for an issue with the PTO and pushers, truck was shutting off ,..had the truck there for 2 weeks finally got a call saying truck was ready ..went by to pick up truck and as soon as the driver left the truck immediately shut off and pto re engaged ..pretty much same problem as it went in .so we drove the truck back in to the shop once it started left it again for the technician to review the problem and could not find it another 3 days went on told us the pick up the unit and picked it up ..driver arrived to the shop and once again shut off and pto engaged again (same issue)spoke to Scott (service writer)and was not able to give me a solution to my problem ...finally got it to turn on drove it back to inland Kenworth left it at the service department ...our mechanic told them what the problem was within minutes (didnt take him 3 weeks to respond ) if anyone knows a way or a route we can take please let us know read more

This was the worst customer service I've ever received in my life, I was told my truck was done drove to only sit in the lobby for 2hrs only to continuously be passed by for other customers, The 1 guy running service Is so inept at his job it took him 3 people to help him to help 1 customer. If you ever have to pick up your truck make sure it's during the morning shift when the smart people are on shift. I wish there was an option to give no stars cause that what I feel is adequate for the service I received tonight. read more

I Had a great experience at this shop. I called them in the morning and I told the service guy Chris that I thought my water pump on my isx was leaking and he told me to come by and they'd look at. I was in the shop that day and out and back on the road that night. The staff was very polite and everyone had a great attitude. The only thing I didn't like is the drivers lounge has only 5 or 6 seats in it, definitely not enough for the amount of drivers that were there and the area where you park your trailer is kinda tight. The mechanic that worked on my truck was really cool and let me know that my suspicions where correct, he told me how long it'd take for him to fix it and he was spot on. read more

I have a 2015 Kenworth t680 with a paccar engine August of 2019 the turbo blew and sent oil into the EGR and EGR Cooler and into the after treatment system. The turbo the egg and egr cooler and after treatment system was replaced along with the doser valve the front nox sensor and a few more sensors the insurance paid $14+ thousand and I had to pay $17,000.00 out of pocket. Before this all happened ( this truck has a 22.4 gallon DEF tank and I got roughly 3000 miles per tank. And now after all that that Inland Kenworth done to my truck I get around 900 miles per tank and I took the truck back to them twice and told me I didn't know what I was talking about and kept telling me the doser valve is fine and I told them " hey I drive this truck and I'm telling you something is not right" but they wouldn't listen because they didn't want to stand good for the doser valve. Here is how not happy I am with Inland Kenworth, I just bought a brand new tractor a 2021 but I chose not to deal with Inland Kenworth because I didn't like the way I was treated. read more

Bought my 1st truck less than 30 days, a 2014 t680 with 410,000. 1st week out had to replace alternator=$500, check engine light came on injector behind turbo for def system had to be replaced dealer fixed, second week out ac quit working in sleeper, dealer fixed both things but bitched about it, i had to replace idler pulley, and tension pulley plus both belts=$400. Left front daytime light hasnt worked since day one, had a coolant leak on line going to sleeper=$100. Clutch wasnt feeling right and i have alot of slack in 5th wheel took truck in friday the 15th to have service adjust both, come to find out clutch is done needs to be replaced and 5th wheel needs to be rebuilt. Used truck sale manager tells me this is what you get when you buy a used truck good luck. I recommend that no one buys a used truck from inland kenworth, service department and parts department are both great and very helpful. Oh and when i told my salesman about the clutch and 5th wheel he told me they are both fine the service department is just trying to screw me. read more
