This place is much better than the reviews show. The doctor's are very knowledgeable and the staff is professional and friendly. I never have any problems with my prescriptions or anything else. I believe if you are honest with the doctors then they will treat you accordingly. Dr. Choi is very capable and explains medications so that you can easily understand.

While some of the staff were kind…read moreand tried their best, communication was inconsistent, and it was often difficult to get clear updates about my loved one's care. There were long wait times, and it sometimes felt like concerns were not addressed as quickly as they should have been. I understand that hospitals can be very busy, but during such a stressful time, better communication and more attentive care would have made a significant difference. I hope the hospital takes steps to improve the overall patient and family experience. Especially my son. Especially after he got upstairs to his regular room.

She was not eating and was too weak to drink through a straw. I stayed with her for approximately five hours. It took Dr. Dalia Nessman about two hours to evaluate my mother. I explained that my mother had a yellow vaginal discharge. A male charge nurse prepared the equipment needed for Dr. Nessman to conduct a vaginal examination. After examining my mother while I was present, Dr. Nessman stated she did not see any vaginal discharge. She lied in front of 2 RN and myself. The discharge was present and she refused to obtain a sample of the vagina discharge. My mother was discharged within approximately seven hours despite being weak and frail. Dr. Nessman instructed Nurse Carlos to call me. When I asked Nurse Carlos several questions regarding my mother's condition and discharge instructions, he told me that those questions needed to be addressed by Dr. Nessman. Dr. Nessman did not return my call, answer my questions, or contact me, even though I am listed as my mother's emergency contact. I could just imagine how Dr. Nessman uses her religion to her advantage to protect her lazy, hateful unprofessional self. The following day, I had to take my mother back to the emergency room, where she was admitted to the hospital for several days. I was informed that pressure related to her heart was at 50, when it should have been 60. I am deeply concerned my mother required three emergency-room visits within five days. I believe her initial condition and symptoms should have been evaluated more thoroughly before she was discharged. Based on my experience, I found Dr. Nessman to be unresponsive and unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking attentive and thorough medical care

From routine cleanings to more detailed procedures, he's always thorough, patient, and genuinely invested in your long term dental health. What really sets the Upland office for success is the team. I am sure the same standard carries through the entire practice locations. Dr Barsoum takes the time to explain options clearly, never rushes decisions, and makes you feel comfortable, even if you're not exactly excited about being in a dental chair. The office is clean, modern, and runs on schedule (which I deeply respect). If you are looking for a dentist who combines skill, professionalism and genuinely caring team, this is the place. I am extremely disappointed with the care I received at Barosum Dental in Upland. My experience…read moreleft me feeling unheard, misdiagnosed, and ultimately traumatized. While I was out of town on July 12, 2026, I developed severe pain on the lower right side of my mouth. As soon as I returned, I scheduled an emergency appointment for July 15. I also had a previously scheduled deep cleaning appointment for July 16. During my emergency visit, the female dentist appeared to minimize my concerns. Instead of focusing on the area where I was experiencing pain, she asked whether I had seen an endodontist for a referral from a year earlier and questioned a shadow in my gums that had existed for over 30 years on the opposite side of my mouth. I requested X-rays, and a 360-degree scan was performed. After reviewing the images, she told me everything looked fine, that I had no cavities, gave me Sensodyne toothpaste for tooth sensitivity, and said I was cleared to proceed with my deep cleaning the following day. Later that same day, the office coordinator called and told me they wanted me to see the endodontist before my cleaning. I went to the appointment, and within five minutes the endodontist identified a cavity. My primary dentist confirmed the finding and recommended that my wisdom tooth be extracted. I was extremely upset that my condition had been missed during my emergency visit. I asked to speak with the female dentist who had evaluated me, but she was unavailable. I scheduled the extraction for July 17, 2026. Because I had previously had a successful experience using nitrous oxide during another tooth extraction, I requested it again to help manage my anxiety. I was numbed for the procedure and was told I was receiving nitrous oxide, but I never felt its effects. I noticed the dental assistant was on the phone for much of the procedure, and it appeared that no one ensured the nasal cannula was properly positioned. I informed both the oral surgeon and the assistant that I did not feel like I was receiving the nitrous oxide, but my concerns were dismissed. I remained anxious throughout the procedure, and the extraction was ultimately unsuccessful. I left the office emotional, traumatized, and deeply disappointed. This was the worst dental experience I have ever had. As healthcare providers, listening to patients is essential. I repeatedly expressed my concerns and felt they were ignored every step of the way. I will not be returning to this office. I also plan to verify that my insurance was not billed for procedures that were not completed, including the deep cleaning and the unsuccessful tooth extraction. I hope this review encourages the office to improve communication, patient care, and attention to patient concerns so that others do not have a similar experience.
