I'm 330 lbs and relatively new to Yoga. I did t want to invade or be laughed at because I'm not as flexible as some of the others - men and women. Since I've been going everyone has been very accepting, supportive, and so kind. WOW! I feel welcomed and not judged. Furthermore, I'm recovering from life changing spinal cord fusion 7 months ago. Most recently, I'm awaiting an MRI for my lower back - pain severe in my heals. I'm out of work. Since going to Inlet Yoga I've noticed great strides in my mobility, my feet aren't hurting nearly as bad, I might be able to put off back surgery. My moods have changed so much. I feel happy, joyful, present, and accepting of all things. "Thank you!" I HIGHLY recommend you visiting Inlet Yoga. I've found a wonderful group of people. It's changing my life. It's a very beautiful studio on the top floor and it gets insanely busy. It is always a good idea to show up early to get a good spot. The instructors are fantastic and passionate about their jobs which you can tell in the practice. It is a great place to come to relax after a hard week at work or to get a good workout. read more

Any class with Maribeth -- 5 stars. Maribeth MacKenzie is terrific -- I was surprised to find someone with training in Ayurveda from the Chopra Institute in California off the beaten path in SC. She also teaches a fantastic Yoga on the Wall class -- a must try. I bought a week long pass for $50. She's terrific as was Mara Utley. My friend and I also went to classes with Robin and Heather that were not good. I went to one with each and she went to 2 with Robin. For example, the gentle yoga class with Robin was very strenuous and she played lively country music during Shavasana. Bizarre. However, it's a very nice studio and Marybeth was amazing!!! this yoga studio truly is as good as it gets. I practiced yoga while on a week"s vacation everyday except one. I enjoyed an Ashtanga, Hatha and Gentle classes. Each instructor was very attentive and passionate about teaching me proper alignments and how my body should move in poses during class. I am hoping we vacation in the area again to be with this delightful yoga community. My week with Inlet Yoga was lovely. Thank you. read more

Went to a gentle yoga class earlier today. A very nice thing to do during a vacation, especially during bad beach weather. Friendly staff. Robin was a great teacher. I'll be back anytime I visit. Would recommend calling ahead- although I got into class as a walk-in, it filled prior to class time. read more
