Only to be told it would be another $5k to fix. I got a second opinion and turns out they never fixed what they said they did initially, and what they were telling me was the "new" problem wasnt really the problem at all. which means had I spent that money, a few months later I would have had issues again. I gave them my car twice. the first time was for the fuel pump and they did a pretty decent job.I let them have it a 2nd time and they tried upselling me on a part of the wire harness that had wire showing (the part is in the picture). They said it was bad and i needed 350$ to fix it. That part is not and was not bad. They said my distributor was bad as well which is a mis-diagnosis. I have done an extensive amount of work on my car and know it very well. that's why i sent it to a shop because i got impatient doing it myself. When i called them to tell them i was not having them do the work on my car, i was told i had to pay for the part lol, Which came from ebay and is 25$... Overall, the second time i sent it there they said i needed 1000$ to fix it and ended up spending 60$ on my own. read more

I had my fuel pump replaced at Inlign 2 years ago. It went out again so I decided to call them. Owner Tim says it will be covered under warranty and I would just need to pay $360+ tax. Shannon says if I get it to them in the next 10-15 min they could have it done by 6. Dropped it off and they never called. I called the next day and was told it hadn't been looked at yet. Was told I'd get a call back in 10 min. After 2 hours with no call I called and was told Shannon was in a meeting. Then Shannon calls me and tells me my fuel pump was good but my trucks computer was bad. That made no sense at all and adamantly disagreed. She called back again and said "yup it's the fuel pump". I was told my truck would be done by the end of the day and I'd get a call from Shannon around 5:30. Guess what.... No call. I called at 5:45 and was told Shannon had left for the day but truck was done. I was told I could pay with a text link but when I received the link the amount was higher than discussed. I called and spoke with Tim the owner who assured me he would get it fixed and send a new link. Guess what...the new link was priced even higher than the previous wrong one. I called again and expressed my frustrations with the entire process of misinformation and incorrect price. At that point Tim tells me I now can't use the link to pay and I need to go to the shop and that he should have never warrantied my part. Snarky and rude to say the least. Make sure you look at the parts list before they fix your car. Brought my car in for an oil change. While I was waiting, they told me that I needed my 90k service and new valve cover gaskets on my V6 Toyota. The manager handed me an estimate of $1,700. I looked at the parts list. 6 spark plugs $100, retail $18, timing belt $100, retail $20. The list went on and on with prices inflated from 300% to 500% for each part. I bought all the parts including a high-performance water pump for $160 retail and had a local shop do the service for $300. The Toyota dealer only wanted $800 for the same repairs read more

They gave me every excuse in the book like how the other rim was done on the same machine with the same tech and it is not messed up so there is no way the other one could have been damaged. That logic is so flawed I don't even need to argue against it. They then said that "this happens all the time with those painted wheels". When I said if it happens all the time how can you say it could not have happened this time? The answer, "oh it happens all the time, just not here". They then tried to say my other rims all had the same damage, which they do not. They have some road chips not a huge long scrape. After them refusing to do anything about it I told them I would not pay for the work they did. So I get in my car to leave and the TMPS light is on. I go back in and the owner tells me "I don't know why that would happen and I would not know without scanning it which I will not do for free". So a quick recap. They scratch the hell out of my rim and most likely broke a TPMS sensor and deny it all and refuse to check out the light that was not on when I arrived. These guys are great! Their service has to date been honest and very capable. I drive a fairly expensive import, and their service rivals the dealership! So - why 4 stars and not 5? I wanted to buy new tires, so I entered their "request a quote" on their website, and never heard back. So I called a few days later, told them specifically what tires I was after - and again - never heard back. MAJOR FAILURE! Why go into business if you can't be bothered calling back somebody who want's your product? I'll keep using these guys, but they lost a $1,200 tire sale because they can't seem to follow up with a sales lead. read more

Made an appointment on their website for an alignment and did not receive a confirmation, so I called and the gentleman I spoke to blamed it on a computer glitch, but to go ahead and bring it in at the scheduled time. I sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours only to be told that the alignment couldn't be done due to a frozen rod adjuster on my vehicle. On top of it all, he said he could take a wrench to it and try to get it unstuck for an additional $50! Are you kidding me? Came in to get my Oil Changed and was delighted to enter such a clean "Auto Repair Shop". My Oil Change came with a Free Tire Rotation and they offer Free gourmet Coffee and Free WIFI. I have brought both my vehicles here and was satisfied with the service done to my cars. The SUV needed the rear seals replaced and the rear breaks replaced. They were able to accommodate my request to use OEM parts and they got them at a much cheaper price than i could. While working on the rear seals and the breaks they also found that the proportioning valve was bad, which i knew and had forgotten, I had them fix that as well. The repairs took a few days, as parts had to be special ordered, and so they gave me a ride home and offered to pick me up when the job was completed. This was a courtesy i greatly appreciated. Because of this i also had them do an oil change and they checked what oil was best for my vehicle based on specs. I had them do a coolant flush to my 1986 MR2, which has a tricky cooling system, and was very pleased with the results. Both visits were walk-ins and they took my cars right away. This may have just been fate on my side as I drive past this establishment everyday and they seem to have steady business coming in and out. I would probably make an appointment the next time I go just to be on the safe side. read more

My car broke down during a hurricane AAA towed it to inlign. They wanted $1,000 to fix my 98 Honda Civic basically it tune up. I said no please put my keys in the car and shove it out in the parking lot I'm having a tow truck come get it. The guy threw the rotor in the engine it was missing a screw. he did not get me the parts back and then charged me $80 for a diagnostic. I have come to Inlign for almost a year for regular oil changes - first few times I had made appointments - but regardless if I had an appointment or not, I always had to come back hours later to retrieve my vehicle. Customer service has always been just O.K. but I will mention that when they try to tell you something, and you decline they don't keep pushing for the sale. (I really hate that about auto mechanic places, and appreciate they don't do this). I called on Friday and said I would like to bring my car for an oil change and was told that they could get me right in if I came about 5hrs later at 2:30, and told me I did NOT need to make an appointment. 2:30 comes and I pull in and am greeted by being asked 'do you just need your oil changed?' I replied yes and I was told to bring my car by at 2:30. I was then told they couldn't get me in till closing. Aggravated I walked out and gave my business to another company. ALWAYS make an appointment and expect it to take at least 3 hours - even for oil changes. read more

My car was sent by a bodyshop to Inlign for a 4 wheel alignment. Over the life of this vehicle everyone that rode in it commented on how quiet it was. When we got it back there was a noise. The car was returned by the bodyshop to Inlign where they were told that they thought they had found the problem, they hadn't tightened a bolt properly. This was enough that it should have bothered me, they left a bolt loose on a suspension item... really? but I had faith in the bodyshop. Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem and the noise got progressively worse. Back to Inlign via the body shop where this time they said, I know it seems like a real coincidence but it turns out to be a wear and tear item, it needs a new strut bearing, only $300 installed. Well, if this was the case I surely couldn't blame it on a minor accident. I took the car to Inlign and waited the whole morning while they installed it. It didn't solve the problem. I had an appointment I couldn't miss so I left and came back and spent the afternoon while they tried to find the problem but didn't. Finally I told the bodyshop and the insurance company that I was taking it back to the dealer. The dealer found that there was a bolt that was stripped and therefore couldn't be tightened. I paid another $300 to the dealer and asked him to check the other strut bearing since if one was bad the other should show wear as well. It didn't. Back to talk to the owner, Tim, who spent about two weeks to come to the conclusion that there was no way it could be his shop's fault and he would do nothing for me. Perhaps these folks are fine some of the time, but when they make a mistake, and I am certain, the dealer is certain and I am pretty sure the bodyshop knows, his shop caused it and won't accept responsibility. Be aware and be careful. This could have caused a dangerous situation and you could be at risk if you trust this shop! read more

Heading out on vacation on a Saturday our vehicle broke down before we left the area. We called Inlign since they were open and close to our house. What a great experience. They diagnosed the problem, gave us an estimate and had it fixed within a few hours. There was no hard sell or pressure from Inligh to do the work. everyone got involved in the repairs so we could get on the road. Even one of the owners ran to pick up a part. The bonus was the repairs were less than the estimate!!! The shop is spotless. The coffee and tea they offered is great and the waiting room is really clean, comfortable and they have HD TV with all the channels to pass the time. Would I recommend Inlign? Absolutely!!! I did not have to wait long for my oil change and they did not try to sell extra services that were not immediately needed. They told me a quote for a service if would need in the future but did not push the service. I felt like the price was fair and lower than most. I went there based on a recommendation from my neighbor. Last week my girlfriend and I dropped off her vehicle for an oil change and was told it would be finished in about an hour. Big lie that was, it took them two and a half hours to do it. They weren't busy or anything so I started to get frustrated because we needed the car. After two hours we get a call from there about their "recommendations". I told them no and they said ok. we'll have the car ready for you when you get here, they didn't. They said before they took my keys that they would check the air pressure in my tires. they never did because when my girlfriend got home the tires looked low. I was talking to my neighbor 2 days ago about this place and he will not be bringing his car back either now. I asked him how come and he said, he brought his vehicle in for an oil change and they did it and told him he needed a few things done. He didn't do it at the time but brought his car back a few days later and did all the work they "recommended" and when his car was there for the "recommendations" they "recommended" more things. I mean come on, they lure you in with that oil change price and try to get you to buy hundreds of dollars worth of stuff you don't need. I will just keep taking my car to the dealer from now on.
