Our stay here was so nice! Between the texts leading up and the actual experience, they really put thought into what they deliver. The room was way more swanky than anything we ever stay in, but even my husband commented on how nice it was, and he isn't usually impressed with hotels. You could sleep in the shower with how much space there was. The ambiance definitely matched all the things I had heard about it - very industrial meets modern in a thoughtful way. And don't sleep on Blue Collar Coffee or the rooftop bar, if even for just the view of the foothills. You can't beat the location either - it's walkable to everything but just outside the true heart of downtown where it gets busier. Recommend for a staycation night (what we did) or a splurge-y stay with friends! read more

Stayed at this location for our first time in February. Best explanation that I can provide is WOW! From the time we arrived (Valet) through the check out (front desk) we were treated like royalty. Amazing service by a staff that are truly ambassadors for the brand and create an incredible atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and very inviting from the lobby to the rooms. Our room layout was wonderful and the room was loaded with amenities. It was quiet and easy to navigate. Location is central to downtown so it's really easy to walk to the nightlife after dinner. Rooftop was amazing and what a view. We also made reservations at the Supper Club and it too was incredible. Service was impeccable while not being overbearing. The food was amazing and very fairly priced. Cannot wait to go back and eat more off the menu. Overall, I cannot believe there is a better hotel to stay at in Boise. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a "staycation" at the Renegade. read more

I didn't actually stay at the hotel. I went to the rooftop at this particular hotel, however the hotel employees I ran across were very kind and nice. I would definitely stay here. It was clean and I enjoyed the rooftop. It was beautiful. I had shrimp cocktail skewers that were very good. They also had Ragu sliders that were good. I would recommend those as well. read more

This past trip we came for our anniversary trip and the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was a special trip. Besides this, the beds are insanely comfortable. My wife and I stayed here on a stay in town weekend for our anniversary this past month and all I can say is this place is 1st class all the way. Placed right in the middle of downtown Boise in a historic building. Just walking in this place screams class, trendy and cool! Checking in it was the same experience 1st class process that would challenge any 5 star hotel. Once up to the room we were met with a bottle of champagne and a variety of truffles. The room is more of a condo than a hotel room. One bummer is they were having a private event on their roof top bar and we were not able to enjoy that part, but will be back at some part to enjoy it! I cannot say enough how comfortable and relaxing the room was so much so we didn't leave we ordered room service, got coffee downstairs, ate at the restaurant downstairs and just enjoyed the whole experience. We will for sure be back and anyone needing a staycation or anyone visiting Boise this has to be at the top of your list! read more

The best and coolest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! It was newly built in the Spring, and you can tell they have gone to great lengths to make this an amazing and unique experience. The hotel is all leather and wood, and has a distinct smell. The rooms are incredible- having the open window shower is interesting for sure...but I did notice in rooms with 2 beds, the shower was walled in so there are options. They come with a Marshall Bluetooth speaker which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and I didn't hear too much road noise. The hotel is right downtown so it's walking distance to all sorts of amazing restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and made an effort to have our stay be an excellent experience, and they succeeded. If I ever find myself back in Boise, I know where I'm staying! read more

My daughter booked her wedding night here last October! On a budget of course they reserved the best room they could afford. Upon arrival they discovered the hotel upgraded them to the "Pend d'Orielle" Penthouse! I can't tell you what this meant to these kids! Top 3 hotels we've stayed in. The unique rooms mirrored with the old school charm and moody vibes give this new hotel 5 from my husband and I. It's only been open 1 year but it's been built to look like it's been there for decades. The room has a unique shower that I've never seen before. Bed is super comfy and they also have a dog relief area outside for your fur baby. The Renegade also has an amazing roof top bar that we visited twice! One thing we really appreciated while staying there is there ice for your room comes pre bagged, no disgusting germy ice makers. We also loved that there is a water filling station in the hall. It comes with cold, sparkling and hot water. The staff is super awesome and they loved our new puppy. There is also a coffee shop attached to the hotel for your morning pick me up. The location is convenient as well, in the heart of downtown, close to restaurants, shops, bars, Boise State etc. we will definitely be back!! read more

Hotel Renegade is amazing to say the least. The building is beautiful, as is the room we stayed in. Everything is brand new, and all staff was extremely friendly. The doormen were above and beyond, and the front desk always had a smile on their face. We even got a surprise upgrade - something that has never happened to me before. We were really blown away by everything here. The value is great, as is the location. All amenities are top notch. The rooftop bar is wonderful, and they have a great cocktail list. They also have a bar and coffee shop next to the lobby. We didn't try the restaurant but I'm sure it's great too. I can't recommend staying here enough. read more

I booked a room here as part of a little staycation for my fiancée's birthday. It was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I have ever had. We had the best time. From staff being so nice to the room being beautiful and clean. Valet was amazing and always opening doors for us when we came in and out. Every person at the front desk was kind and respectful and able to answer any questions we had. The roof top bar was awesome, it being December I was worried it was going to be too cold to really experience it but between indoor seating and heated outdoor seating it was perfect. Another big shout out to the staff for helping my fiancée find her ID after she lost it!!! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone from in or out of town. This hotel is a dream! From the moment you walk in the front desk staff is so kind, knowledge with a smile! The hotel lobby bar is so beautiful! The bar service staff is very on top of it and professional. They know their stuff on liquor. Went above and beyond to get drinks and food ordered for my group! We went to dinner in the restaurant, with a reservation, I can't even you how wonderful the service was! The steak was amazing, I highly recommend the scallop potatoes! The Gin and Toxic is my favorite they use a special toxic that is aged in bourbon barrels. We then headed up stairs to the hotel rooftop bar, the are an amazing view of the city. It is brand new and every one of Boise wants to check out this place. Again, staff is working so hard to make this work and you can see the efforts are being put into place! What I love about their bathroom/rooms: makeup remover cloth, necessities like q tips (just wish there was shower cap), plenty of hooks for your towels, magnifying mirror, plush robes, excellent hand soap and body wash/shampoo. Lots of hooks in the room itself for jackets, etc . Umbrella, very nice Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso coffee, nice beverage fridge, lots of charging plugs. Room decor spot on. Moody and comfy. Trendy hotel situated downtown Boise, walking distance from the state Capitol building, Rediscovered Books, The Chocolate Bar, Stella's Ice Cream. Housekeeping staff is superb and will leave extra supplies when left a note. The king rooms have nice extras, including an umbrella, bathroom scale, robes, extra blanket, ironing board with iron. Tea kettles can be requested for the room, which is a plus for tea drinkers. There are a few negatives: small " closet" which is half of the cupboard with ironing board and no drawers for one's clothes in the bedroom. The one drawer contains a large safe suitable for a laptop. There are baskets in the nightstand, but no drawers. Best to pack one's items in packing cubes and dropping in the baskets. Definitely not ideal. There is no place to store any medications, which should never be stored in a humid bathroom. Breakfast options in the coffee shop are minimal, so plan ahead. read more

I didn't know how to turn the lights out or turn the shower on or off. I had to call for a WiFi name and also it was so noisy two nights that one night I couldn't fall asleep without earplugs and another night I was woken up at 1 by drunken and loud neighbors. Also although I had an Ada room there was no place to put my bags out of the way and no full length closet to have my dresses. So I hung them in the hallway. The hotel itself is lovely and the rooms decorated exceptionally. The problem comes with 2 issues we had. 1- we live Dogs but they need to have designated rooms. Both nights (and days) we had nonstop barking from the room next to us. We let them know in the am after first night and said it would be addressed. Upon our return, still barking dogs. At 9:39 pm at night we called again.... After dogs were nonstop barking. We have dogs, and we love them, designate rooms specific to this and not on the 6th floor! Also, parking is 0 and a mandatory $35 valet fee is absurd. Would not stay here again for those reasons. Cute, trendy but needs to have some regulations and modifications in place. read more

Hotel Renegade was an experience of above-and-beyond hospitality. Even before entering, I was greeted by doormen and valet who opened the door. Upon entering, I was welcomed by bright smiles and warm acknowledgements by the staff at the front desk who were upbeat, patient, informative, and all together helpful. I had the privilege of using Hotel Renegade's meeting space for a week-long meeting. The head of meeting operations and supporting crew were at the room to greet me for the first morning, and we exchanged contact information. The level of care, communication, professionalism, and fast and responsive assistance we received was remarkable. We started in one entirely aesthetically pleasing and nicely set-up conference room. There was some minor work being done nearby and an individual from our meeting complained to staff about the noise, and in the blink of an eye, the staff had us set up and moved to another room sans any extra charges. This crew was so fast and responsive in troubleshooting even the most minor of things (of which there were few). And they all had the best attitudes and most helpful demeanors. We had an off-site day and asked if Hotel Renegade could help with procuring beverages and snacks. Their team was seamless with communication and had a proposal drawn up in no time. Then they went out of their way to deliver the snacks and goods, even though we were at another venue. Start to finish, the experience I had with the Hotel Renegade staff was superb! And the hotel is spectacular! The layout and design are so aesthetically pleasing. The exposed wood beams, wood framing, plush seating, massive windows, light wall color palette, and combination of wood and tile flooring made for a vibrant, rich, welcoming environment. The Sawtooth room and the ballroom are elegant meeting spaces, and the patio next to the ballroom is striking with great seating and views across Boise.
