I really enjoyed my stay here. The location right on the heart of Naple's Fifth Avenue couldn't be better. I was at first surprised that, except for a pool bar cafe, it doesn't have a restaurant. But the reason why is that it is surrounded by Naple's finest in restaurants. I went to Dal Mar, Ocean Prime, and Truluck's which were all really great The pool, oddly enough, is located on the second floor. It's one of the best I've seen, and it is surrounded by a sunbathing area mostly connected to second floor rooms Ii's pricey but if location counts, worth it. read more

This property states they are non smoking but they allow their employees to smoke right out front of the hotel. I have even witnessed this employee with a lite cigarette in one hand and talking with a guest. I had to ask him if he worked there and he replied yes. I can not believe they advertise that the property is non smoking but yet let this employee smoke right out front and we have to breathe the smoke in. I have written to the general manager Maria Hamilton and stopped in to speak to her. She advised me it would be taken care of. But it has NOT Please address this smoking issue with your employee. And request he smoke away from pedestrians and guests. read more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had the best time!! I recommend spending the extra $ and staying in the club level suites. It's a seperate building across the street. It's private and not everyone from inn on fifth is allowed in. The rooms were incredible, spacious, clean, bed was wonderful. Armand and Lisa in concierge made our stay spectacular. Both helped me to plan a surprise dinner cruise for my husband which he loved. Upon our arrival they took all our luggage to room and put everything where it needed to be. Armand greeted us and made sure we were happy. 10 minutes later they brought us drinks, champagne, charcuterie board, chocolate covered strawberries and we were able to stand on our balcony and overlook Naples. The shopping is great, tin city down the road is fun to shop at, tons of restaurants. The building has a private rooftop, jacuzzi(wasn't working because it cracked) you can take your drinks and food up there to watch sunset. The breakfast is incredible from 7-11, drinks, mimosas, Bloody Marys all provided. Tons of food. 5-7 they have appetizers and snacks. I was pleasantly surprised at all the options. We plan to stay here every year because they made it so special. Thank you Armand for your customer service and making us feel at home. They also have a shuttle to take you around and pick you up. I had a 90% good stay. I came in for a vacation from the west coast. The hotel was nice, clean and quiet. The pool area is much larger than it appears on Hotel photos. All the employees I encountered were pleasant and welcoming. I did not eat here, so can't comment. On my last morning, I was most unpleasantly startled awake by a housecleaner loudly knocking with something hard on my door! In spite of having had my Do Not Disturb sign up since I had arrived 48 hours earlier! She apparently decided I needed to get up and out so she could go about her job! So several things.....first this is not my first time here so I feel like I can give a really accurate review. Let's start with the valet and check in both were good and the staff was very kind. Let's move onto the room....its been so humid in our room I have complained 3 times and nothing seems to change. The sheets keep coming off our bed every night it's so annoying. The bed is not very comfortable and the blankets have a tag right in the middle and I keep having to flip the blankets over and housekeeping keeps putting them back with the tag by our heads. Now let's talk about the pool. When I am spending this much money why do I keep having to go to the bar and order drinks for them to tell me okay I'll bring them to you. Why can't you come to my chair and ask me if I want another drink. Next the spa adds on 22% gratuity without even asking you another thing that is annoying. read more

This hotel is in the best location on Fifth Avenue South. I love the glass sculptures in the lobby. That was like a gallery in itself and the pieces were beautiful. We were checked in quickly and every one of the staff we encountered were very courteous. There was even a very cute plush starfish with a story available for purchase. Recently stayed at the Inn on 5th. A Monday and Tuesday night in October. So the property was not full. We have gone there most years for wife's bday. We live an hour away but has been a convenient place if we are doing dinner in Naples. First, we get the same room category every time. King with porch overlooking 5th Ave. This room had to be the smallest in the hotel. With the hotel half empty why give us worst room in the category. Next for the occasion the send up a split of Chardonnay. I reall appreciated the $6 bottle, seriously( I looked it up). Leaving for dinner on second day our room was not serviced. Bed not made, no new towels etc. we stop at front desk , the clerk apologizes and says it will be done immediately. We get back to hotel 3 hours later , still not done. Wife goes to front desk and asks again and someone shows up to give us towels. So room never serviced. Upon checkout I tel the woman there the story and she's perplexed and apologetic and takes the $44 dollar resort fee per day off our bill. What's that for? Resort fee for what? It's not a resort and there were no services. She also tells me a manager would call me. No call. I then get a request for a review and write back that it would be very bad so I won't leave a review. They email back saying someone would call me. Again no call. A few days later I get the boiler plate apology and ask for us to try them again. So my conclusion is they have a great location and a disinterested staff. Living on an old reputation . read more

Really nice hotel. It's clean, well-decorated, modern, and right in heart of the action in Naples. It's right next to stores, and restaurants and is a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and gave me a lot of good suggestions. The is clean and well-equipped. I liked the marble floors as opposed to carpet. The gym is well equipped relative to other hotels. The greatest spot to stay in Naples, without a doubt! Located on the best street in downtown and just a few blocks from the beach. The Inn on Fifth is strategically placed and, more or less, the hotspot in downtown Naples. The hotel is a modest upscale boutique with excellent service and amazing amenities. The pool and patio area are beautiful with a charming front. I stayed in the adjoining Club building, which has a separate check-in area and a lobby with complimentary breakfast, snacks, and wine/cocktails every day. The rooms/suites are spacious and equipped with everything you need. Extremely clean. Very comfy beds for a great night's sleep. The suite balcony was huge with an amazing view of 5th avenue. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend The Inn on Fifth in Naples. read more

I stayed here a few months ago for a long weekend. The hotel is beautiful and this was before their renovation! Located right on 5th, this location is perfect if you want to be around all the good restaurants! Ocean Prime is next door and Truluck's and a bunch of others are within walking distance. We didn't use our car at all, how great is that? The pool was great but the pool furniture could have been cleaner especially the couches. What I loved most about this boutique hotel was the balcony. Not only did it face ritzy 5th Ave but even when it was raining we didn't get wet. So relaxing sitting outside and people watching and watching the sunset was really nice even if I did it alone. If you are going out somewhere local the hotel has a few courtesy vehicles. I only remember one was a Tesla and I think one was a Cadillac Escalade but not positive on that one. We didn't need a ride anywhere because we were right in the middle of the stores, boutiques, restaurants, galleries etc. I wrote separate reviews for the places that I went to, my favorite being Ocean Prime, one of my favorite restaurants. Whatever issues we had were quickly resolved. The staff was professional and very nice. Very good boutique hotel with price points that won't break the bank. I'll be back! read more

When arriving we were greeted with a lively and outstanding front desk receptionist named Hollo. After a few nights we have concluded the Inn is far more than just a great location. I wanted to enjoy the "baller" lifestyle during my Naples vacation, and I think I made the right choice by staying here. After requesting my long weekend off, I looked for places near water and dining spots. Io5th seemed to fit the bill. Great service started when I reached the curb, as the valet already had my check-in information. While I arrived a little before my room was ready, they stored my bags giving me time to souvenir shop and sightsee. After round 1 of my touristing, my city-view suite on the terrace level was ready with a very comfy king-size bed, black out curtains that caused me to sleep past my wake-up call and a huge rain-style shower. In addition to soap and shampoo, they also provide a dental kit. The room also had sufficient and accessible electrical outlets and a flat screen TV although I didn't use that or the desk. My closet also had plenty of hangers, as well as a pimptastic bathrobe. While I didn't try room service, the Ocean Prime restaurant is in the lobby. I enjoyed apps and drinks with friends here (see the separate review) as well as the almost full moon by the connecting courtyard. The front desk employees were always pleasant and attentive, even allowing me to keep my bags in storage without a fee after checkout while I brunched and explored before driving back home. Ok let me start by saying this is probably my 5th or 6th time here. We have stayed in club level and we have stayed on the pool building side. We come back because we always felt we were treated so well no matter which side we stayed on. I booked a pool view patio suite. Although the patio is very nice and can fit a group of like 6 people the view of the pool is non-existent. False advertising. The AC was not working efficiently and only the fan was running. We called front desk and maintenance came up. He was in our room for 15-20 mins. Said only the fan was running and he reset it we needed to give it 15 minutes. 30 minutes later the air coming out of the vent was still fan only not cold at all. We called the front desk and we were moved right before our dinner reservations with friends to a room on the same floor. It was not as big and furthermore I went from a large outdoor patio to no balcony at all and a view of a rundown parking garage. I stopped at the front desk before dinner and the girl Holla said there was nothing she can do tonight for me. I asked her to write down what had occurred and to include that she could not help me a paying customer. She fought with me but finally wrote the summary. The next morning I wake up to a coffee maker of only decaf pods. As petty as that is it was just another thing that went wrong. I went back down to the front desk and thankfully Maxwell the manager was on shift and he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Maxwell for being so understanding. He moved us to the club level. He was very empathetic to our experience thus far. Hola could learn from him. We were moved immediately with the help of a valet. Alec the director of services called me later that day and was also empathetic and understood my frustration. They did do their best to make things right. Unfortunately our AC broke in the new room. I advised a staff member that was serving breakfast on the club level and she called for help. She did tell me the AC problems have been an issue lately. It was hot in the hallways. I advised Maxwell of this upon my checkout. When you are charging a premium for a luxurious experience then the basic need of AC should be priority and the next basic need of customer service should be the next priority. Holla needs training. 6/10-11/2017 - The Inn is an enchanting and unforgettable hotel. It provides a stylish, chic stay. The hotel's standout feature is its beautiful white lobby with red accents. (side note and BONUS: The valet is complimentary) Caitlin at the front desk checked us in and told us they also serve as a concierge and would be more than happy to give us recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. She then pulled up a map and showed us a few suggestions. She also mentioned it was Naples Restaurant Week where participating restaurants are offering a 3-course meal for $35pp. Rachel, also at the front desk, gave us a few suggestions as well for more local finds. Our room was spacious and clean. It was a double guest room, with a nice balcony. Very comfortable beds and a huge shower. We used the mini fridge to store water, although you do get 2 bottles of water complimentary. There is an iron/ironing board that we also used, robes, and a coffee machine with Starbucks Verona coffee as well as teas. The best part is the close proximity to restaurants and bars as well as the beach. We ended up walking everywhere and exploring the area. For dinner on Saturday, we just walked next door to Ocean Prime who was offering the Restaurant Week special. After, we strolled the streets for a bit. When we came back, there seemed to be working on some kind of leak right in front of our door. It was still there in the morning. Although we did not make it to the beautiful pool because of the weather, we did go to the gym, located on the 2nd floor, for a quick Sunday morning workout. The gym was a bit muggy and humid, other guests coming in mentioned the same thing. We decided to run to the beach instead. There is also a spa on the the 2nd floor. Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Naples. We picked this hotel mostly for the location, and I was more than pleasantly surprised by the accommodations! The hotel itself is beautiful - the lobby aesthetics are simple and elegant, without being stuffy. The reception/concierge staff was super friendly and greeted us each time we walked by. They were helpful with information whenever we asked, such as pointing out great spots to rent bikes, where we can play tennis for free, and attempting to make reservations for us. They even had beach chairs and umbrellas for us to borrow (for free) for the beach - word of caution though, the umbrella is teeny-tiny! Another nice touch is the shuttle service they offer - they have a variety of cars and carts - we took the golf cart to the beach and back one day - most days we walked though as it's about a 1/2 mile and a beautiful walk. My one complaint would be the overly-scented lobby, it somewhat like walking into a perfume store each time we entered. The room: We stayed in a standard King suite - nothing fancy, no club level and it was absolutely beautiful! I couldn't ask for a better room - SUPER comfortable bed, cozy soft sheets, and fluffy pillows! Our window overlooked the pool area which was nice! The bathroom products provided are L'occitane, which smelled wonderful. One major downside was the water pressure in the shower. We stayed in room 355 and the water pressure was really terrible - they have a large rain showerhead, but it seems as if the pressure wasn't adjusted for that type of head. The bathroom was beautiful, but that was a pretty big bummer. The pool is really nice - not super large or deep, we had brought goggles/caps and planned on doing laps, but realized the pool wouldn't be conducive. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas about, plus amble clean towels and a water station - it's very easy to stay here all day long! There's poolside service from the Ocean Prime restaurant next door, and we even ordered lunch at the pool one day - plus my husband enjoyed some mid day cocktails on occasion, who can complain about that? There's a hot tub as well, which looked great - but we didn't check it out as the weather was sunny and beautiful! We had a car with us, which we parked (for free) in a variety of lots around the downtown area. We only used the car on few occasions, and were able to walk to most everything! There is complimentary valet service, but we didn't realize that at first. The reason I can't give this hotel 5 stars is the water pressure. I know that sounds very silly, but seeing as this is a beach/sun location - low water pressure means even more difficulty washing sunscreen off each day. Plus, getting shampoo out of long hair became a dreaded affair. I doubt it'll be enough to keep me from staying here in the future, but it would 100% be something I brought up before booking again. One of, if not the best, hotel/resort to stay in town (note: most recent visit was in 2021). Excellent, top tier customer service. A real treat to interact with staff at all levels. We would see the manager/owner at the time, Mr. McCabe, personally making rounds and interacting with staff. Rooms at the club level were very spacious and warm. They offered high quality linens, in room hospitality offerings and toiletries. The club level food and beverage offerings were generous and high quality and really made for such a pleasant, zero effort way to relax and have a snack/drink. The real stand out for me was the housekeeping service. It was the most meticulous, thoughtful, and thorough housekeeping service I have ever experienced. Upon return, our room was not only spotless, but meticulously organized and very obviously carefully tended to (but mind you not in an intrusive way). The way the housekeeping staff wrapped my curling iron cord, for example, was a work of art and a technique that I have since adopted personally. Kudos to Inn on Fifth. read more

I love the action and being close to tons of bars/restaurants, so for me it was ideal. Having Ocean Prime downstairs and Trulucks 10 steps away, all the shopping, etc. The room I had was good for 1 person - super clean, great bathroom amenities, and although I didn't use the pool or spa, checked them out and looked great. The club level has a lot offerings - light breakfast, mid day cocktails and after dinner drinks. Rooftop area was comfy too. FYI - these suites are across the street from the main hotel, where the spa and gym are...but that's not an issue at all. FYI - I give the hotel a 5/5 but I'm going to give the spa a 1/5 - it's small and my massage sucked...it was the worst I've ever had. I don't think the masseuse knew what she was doing or had every done a massage before. Another enjoyable visit to Naples at the Inn on Fifth! We prefer the room overlooking Fifth Avenue relaxing in the wicker rocking chairs and love seat. At night the Avenue is so pretty all light up! The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The renovated pool is a nice addition to the hotel. We swam and lounged and had pool side service for beverages. What a great location for a quick getaway. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Tons of restaurants and places to go to within walking distance. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Only issue was we got a room with double beds and I was expecting queen beds and not full beds so it was kind of a tight squeeze for sleep. Pool area is small but that's expected given the buildings footprint but it is nicely done. They're not on the beach but do have a courtesy shuttle to take you and they provide beach chair and umbrellas should you request. Valet service was quick and friendly. We were in Naples for one night during our vacation, and we had picked the Inn on Fifth due to location and the pictures of the rooms. It seemed like a nice boutique hotel that was close to everything. Unfortunately, our visit did not match our expectations, which is why I am going to be writing this review. When we pulled up to the hotel, the valet asked for our keys and if we needed any of our luggage to be taken by the bellboy to the room. We didn't need assistance, so we took the bags ourselves. While we were walking to the hotel, we heard a noise behind us and turned around to watch the valet pull away very quickly in our rental car. It surprised us, because later we discovered our car was in the parking lot by the hotel only a few feet away. We weren't quite sure why he drove off so quickly for such a short distance. Check-in was quick, and the lobby was beautiful, with art, crystal modern chandeliers, and marble. Our room was pretty as well, with art, marble, plush bed, and a private balcony. The view from the balcony, however, was less appealing, since it faced a side street and had no view of the water or foilage. Also, there was bird poop on part of the balcony and the seat of one of the chairs, so we had to turn the cushion over so I didn't sit in the poop. It was a rainy and stormy day, so we walked around the hotel to look at everything and didn't have a chance to go in the rooftop pool. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and we found an excellent Italian restaurant that had food to die for! Other than that, there was not a whole lot to do around downtown Naples. The stay at the room ended up being a sleepless night. The air conditioning didn't work properly, so we were hot at points during the night. My boyfriend said he was woken up by drunk guests at 12 or 1 am that were talking loudly and their voices were bouncing off the walls of the lobby up into our room. Apparently no one tried to quiet them down. Also, at around 7:30 am, he was woken up again by the sound of landscaping crews blowing off leaves near our room, which he could not understand why they were doing that so early near a hotel. We walked to breakfast at Starbucks, and when we walked outside, we noticed our car had been moved from the parking lot to the valet lane in front of the hotel. When we walked back from breakfast about an hour later, we noticed our car had been moved across the street to another lane. It was the most bizarre thing to see our car being moved around so much. I wish the visit was more enjoyable, considering how pretty the room and hotel were. But I hope this review is helpful for other fellow Yelpers. read more

Hotel is in a perfect location. There are 2 buildings, one for club suites and the other is regular rooms. We stayed in the presidential room. It had 3 balconies. The hotel personnel were very attentive! Don't pass this place up! read more
