My stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples began with an exceptional first impression. When I checked in, the young woman at the front desk was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We struck up a conversation, and she thanked me for my patience while waiting in line. Since I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, I asked if there happened to be any upgrades available. She smiled and said she had found one for me. I thanked her, headed upstairs, and opened the doors to what I can only describe as the most incredible hotel suite I have ever seen. I knew something was different the moment I saw the double entry doors. Inside was an immaculate, magnificent suite featuring a spacious living room, a luxurious master bedroom, a second bedroom, spacious living room and **three bathrooms**, with breathtaking views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the beach, and the pool from multiple balconies. The master bathroom alone was larger than many standard hotel rooms and even featured its own Toto toilet. Every detail reflected luxury, from the remote-controlled drapes and sheers to every toiletry imaginable, and even a thoughtfully stocked minibar featuring Macallan 12. I was so stunned that I immediately Face Timed my wife to show her the suite. Her reaction? *"You have to come get me."* I had driven two hours from home to attend a conference and had expected nothing more than a beautiful room with a king-size bed. Instead, I found myself in what felt like a private luxury residence. So, I got back in my car, drove the two hours home, picked up my wife and daughter, and then drove the two hours back to Naples--all so they could experience this extraordinary suite with me. It was absolutely worth every mile. I've been staying in hotels for more than 50 years, and without question, this is the finest hotel room I have ever experienced. What makes the experience even more remarkable is that it all came from a complimentary upgrade as a Marriott Bonvoy member. That one thoughtful gesture transformed a business trip into an unforgettable family memory. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples delivered an experience I'll never forget. Spent some time here with family and friends. We enjoyed the cabanas at the beach and also time at the pool. The attendant, so sorry but I have forgotten her name, helped us on two different trips and was just wonderful. Funny, bubbly, and just great. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This was our first stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, and it completely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, every single interaction made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. The customer service was simply exceptional. The door attendants, greeters, concierge, housekeeping, and evening turndown service were all flawless. Every employee we encountered was warm, professional, and seemed to truly enjoy creating an unforgettable experience for their guests. The food and drinks were outstanding, and as a coffee lover, I have to mention that even the coffee was exceptional. The entire property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and every detail reflected the level of excellence you expect from The Ritz-Carlton. The spa deserves its own standing ovation. I had a massage with Fernando, and without question, it was the best massage I've ever received--and I get massages regularly. He is incredibly talented. The spa amenities were equally impressive: the cold plunge, whirlpool, mineral pool, experience showers, and relaxation areas created an experience that was worth every minute. Honestly, this was one of those rare vacations where I almost stopped thinking about what everything cost because the value of the experience was so apparent. Every dollar felt well spent. I chose The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate a special birthday weekend, and unfortunately the service recovery fell well below the standard I expected. Before our arrival, I prepaid for a birthday amenity to make the celebration special. When we checked into our room, the amenity was missing. I immediately brought it to the concierge's attention and was assured it would be taken care of. After waiting over an hour and returning to the hotel, it still had not been been delivered. When it finally arrived, the surprise was unfortunately spoiled because the birthday was announced before we even entered the room. During this process, the concierge asked whether I had booked an "Explorer Rate." I did not understand the relevance of that question to a prepaid birthday amenity that had not been delivered, and it left me feeling uncomfortable during an already disappointing experience. I then met with Tim, who sincerely apologized and assured me that the amenity charge would be removed from my bill and that dinner for our family that evening would be taken care of. I appreciated his apology and left believing the matter had been resolved. Unfortunately, neither commitment was honored. When I later spoke with another manager, I was told there were no notes documenting my previous conversation. Rather than taking ownership of the situation and following through on what had already been promised, I was asked if I would like a bottle of wine. At that point, it felt as though I was being asked to determine my own compensation instead of the hotel taking ownership of the service recovery. I was also initially charged again for the kids club despite having prepaid. That billing error was eventually corrected, and I appreciate that it was resolved. However, the larger issue was the lack of communication and follow-through surrounding the birthday celebration and the commitments that had been made by management. My husband works in the hospitality industry, and I spent many years in it as well, so I understand that mistakes happen. No hotel is perfect. What defines a luxury property is how it responds when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, consistency, accountability, and follow-through from management fell well below the Ritz-Carlton standard I expected. The property itself is beautiful, and many of the ladies at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and professional. It is disappointing that such a wonderful property was overshadowed by a service recovery that never truly happened. This is a beautiful property, but I have to give it 2 stars because they served me tree nuts after telling them I had an allergy. I was in town for a conference, and was very excited to come and check out this hotel as I've heard great things about it. Upon my arrival, I went to the valet to drop my car off and ask for a dolly thing to bring the boxes in my car over to the conference exhibit hall. The valet man that greeted me was immediately rude and off putting telling me I couldn't use the dolly and that he didn't know where the conference was/exhibit hall was and I had to figure it out. He was absolutely no help and extremely rude for no reason. He eventually got the dolly and helped me find the conference (he found it immediately). The rest of the valet men were very nice and efficient. The valet line is like a chik fil a drive thru, very efficient and fast moving. The actual hotel was stunning. The bathrooms and lobby and rooms were beautiful. The pool and beach are were very nice as well. It's a beautiful hotel, that gives luxurious vibes. I had both food at the conference and food from room service/the lobby bar. The conference food was not that great. Some of it was good, while some of it was stale and had mold in it. That's unbelievable for a ritz Carlton. And like I mentioned previously, we had ordered some food from the lobby bar and told them about the tree nut allergy and a shrimp allergy for someone else. When they brought the food they told me to avoid one of the meals due to possible cross contamination, which I did. I took one bite of all the 3 other dishes brought and immediately had a reaction and had to run to the souvenir shop and buy Benadryl. This is extremely dangerous. Thank god I didn't have an anaphylactic reaction and need to call 911. read more

Less than two years ago I came across this hotel in an architecture magazine article, at the time it just reopened after a complete renovation. So last year I bought my family here to check it out. We loved it from the moment we arrived. Without me asking, front desk lady upgraded me to an ocean view suite due to my Marriott status. Room was ready even though we arrived quite early. My girls hit the beach right away, I was happy just sitting on the balcony. In the evening we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Grill. Our stay was short and sweet, because we enjoyed it so much that we decided to this is our staycation place, after all, we live only an hour away! This weekend we came back here and stayed one night. Hotel is the same, just as beautiful as I remembered. Room was ready when we arrived at 1pm and my room was again upgraded without me asking! Dinner at the Grill was wonderful, especially with live piano playing. We took a walk on the beach after dinner and caught the tail end of the sunset, then went to lobby bar for a drink, while listening to a lady playing violin in the lobby. It was another perfect staycation for us! And hopefully many more in the future! read more

We really loved our stay and would definitely return whenever in the area. The staff was very attentive and outgoing, friendly and engaging. From the valet to the servers at the pool, the bartenders and the front desk staff, everyone was interested to make sure we had everything we needed. While this awesome hotel is situated at the beach, there is a sister hotel a few minutes away that is accessible by shuttle that runs every hour and has a water park that's included with your stay. Food at all of the restaurants we tried was good and the service at the restaurants was very good. At this location there is a game room for the kids to play and by the family pool there are other outdoor games for the kids to play. The food is prepared impeccable and the service is just as good. Coconut shrimp with a spicy chili sauce can't go wrong feel like you're in Margaritaville. Then how about braised short ribs perfectly seasoned and cooked so the meat falls off its bone. Seabass wow Fresh and cooked perfectly. No need for tartar sauce with this dish this is Gourmet dining at its finest. Had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton located in Naples. When entering this beautiful hotel the service is very welcoming and right away asks if you need anything and takes your bag to your room. The hotel is gorgeous and the views are spectacular looking out from your room. There are two pools a kids pool and a adult as well as the beach where there is gumbo limbo to eat with a ocean front view. The service is fast and the food is delicious. You can order food when sitting by the beach/ pool. There are little gift shops to explore as well. The bathrooms are clean and located closer to the beach and pool so it's not a far walk. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Providing you with any essentials you may have forgotten at home. I loved it here! Can't wait to come back. read more

This review is ONLY for a day pass and not staying in a room. The pass was booked through ResortPass and though I did not personally do the booking I was close enough to it to hear the conversation on the phone the night before. For a day pass you need to book a cabana or a bungalow. Though they have a number of people associated with them, it is more a comfort level than a maximum. Is there a maximum? I would assume so, but our group at least didn't tip that point. You can still get a chair on the beach once you are inside, so I am not sure the point of all this...but anyway... the cabana we booked with a verbal confirmation the night before wasn't available, so we were bumped up to a bungalow. Though I appreciate that fact, I do not appreciate the total confusion around the process. Coming to the hotel the car gets valeted like you are staying there. Great. Where do you go for a day pass canbana? See a pool attendant. Since you kind of need the keys to get into the pool area from the pool attendant you are supposed to see that is weird too. Well, once we got settled in, the service was great. The bungalow was pretty nice - specially to have a break room from the hot day. The beach isn't that far of a walk. The property itself is massive. The restaurants on site seem impressive though we did not use them, sticking to poolside service. Overall, this is a great day option for those needing to lug their own stuff to the beach elsewhere - especially for a large group. However, be prepared to handle some confusion when you first get there. read more

He went to his meeting, and I went home . There was zero advantage to me being in the hotel I would go back after his meeting to meet him for lunch , and to tell you the truth, it was just terrible. We're like OK we live here and we know what the food in the area is like so why is this so bad? I've stayed at Ritz Carlton's all over the world . The location is prime for the Area, the beach is lovely and you don't get any stragglers roaming in , the pools are well kept , the dining is adequate and the service I would say is very good. I was supposed to attend a conference at this resort this week and was so looking forward to it. I ended up having an emergency surgery last week and last minute the Dr did not clear me to fly and so I had to cancel my attendance. the fine print did show that if reservation was not canceled before 7 days then there was a penalty but when I called a very hospitable male team member told me that due to it being for medical reasons he was going to request it be waived. Having not asked for this, I was so appreciative and thought wow, what a really great hotel. I was "delighted". Afterall the Ritz training will tell how they work to "delight" the customer. The next day I received an email from Raquel Upchurch who sent me an email that had a cold tone to it and basically said they would not be making an exception for me. I had shared that I was disappointed given false hope and I would have been better off had I not been given false hope. Raquel gave off a vibe of no empathy and basically reiterated I would see the bill. Given this experience, I would avoid staying at a Ritz, not due to their policy, but the way in which Raquel handled the situation and provided no service recovery. My industry has been using the Ritz training for decades and I will say that this definitely felt as though the Ritz doesn't follow through with their own trainings. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had at any Ritz-Carlton property. The issues began at check-in. Despite having five reserved rooms and being long-standing Marriott Titanium Elite members who regularly host large business meetings across the country, our rooms were not ready by the standard 4:00 PM check-in time. It took over 45 minutes to resolve the matter, during which time the General Manager displayed no urgency or concern. Additionally, our luggage--including essential medications--was left unattended near the property entrance, exposed to inconsistent temperatures and accessible to anyone entering or exiting. When we raised this concern, we were told this was standard practice, with staff even acknowledging that items are sometimes left outside. The poor service extended to dining. Our order from Gumbo Limbo arrived incomplete and cold. At Tiburon, our initial order was lost entirely; when we reordered, several items were still missing. I could go on--for instance, at the resort's top-tier restaurant, our dinner experience was equally unacceptable. The steak was served cold after the waiter forgot our order for over 45 minutes. From reception to food service, the overall level of service fell drastically short of expectations, particularly for a Ritz-Carlton. Given the significance of the occasion--Father's Day--this was especially disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this resort. read more

Disappointing experience. Booked a King Bed Ocean View with balcony and we were placed on the 4th floor. The carpet on the 4th floor hallway smelled like urine. The room had, what appeared to be, a queen bed instead of the king. Just below our balcony, literally 10 feet below, there was active maintenance work being done, nullifying balcony privacy. I communicated ahead of time regarding a birthday dinner reservation at Dusk (which we were late for because the bellman arrived to the room 15-20 minutes after we did) yet we were placed in a corner sofa with 14-16" high tables - made eating quite difficult. Waitress at Dusk asked whose birthday it was - which was corny seeing I communicated ahead of time. Nothing special was done whatsoever, ending my 9 year streak of providing a great dinner experience for my girlfriend. While I'm standing outside waiting for valet to bring the car, the valet driver aggressively drives it to the entrance - gets out and says "sounds nice." This was a polarizing experience compared to the South Beach location. The nicest part was simply walking on the beach. I don't recommend based off my experience. read more

We have come to the Ritz for many years and have stayed here for the last three to celebrate our anniversary. This visit was like no other. Even having been during construction in the past and covid in the past, there is no excuse for the blunders we experienced this year. The concierge contacted me in advance per usual to ask me if I had any needs. While I have never had anything in the past, this year I thought I should ask Terrazza to have their usual gluten free items on hand since I knew there may be some differences with the construction. I love their italian rolls and many other options (like the short rib and polenta dish) they offer in the evening. The concierge told me that Terrazza moves to the lobby for dinner due to construction and lack of lighting currently (9/21-9/22+). While I knew that would be less cozy, I was looking forward to our time there. Big mistake. No short rib and polenta and no gluten free rolls. (It was not Terrazza at Bites. It was Bites with a couple of Italian additions. NOT even CLOSE to the same. We definitely should have eaten elsewhere.) Really? No gluten free rolls? Just udi's toast that everyone on the planet has. We had breakfast down at Terrazza every morning. No first class buffet, just a very short menu. In fact the blueberry pancakes are listed as something that cannot come gluten free. Thankfully Kelly was on top of it. (She is the only saving grace at Terrazza right now.) Because the elevators were unable to go to the bottom floor (for no logical reason according to the front desk) we got drenched in the rain, even with an umbrella, on the way down for breakfast Friday. I walked through a puddle to my ankles at the base of the stairs. I've failed to mention thus far that a maid walked into our room the first morning we were there. She did not even knock! I'm so thankful we were dressed at the time! I went down to tell the front desk. The young man said he would give us a $20 credit. Lol. Not only did he not do that... give me a break! What's $20 going to do beside buy one pina colada?! We spent almost $4k! My husband was most livid by being woken up before 7AM by the two men banging on the gumbo limbo walkway early in the morning. EVERY morning! We paid extra upon check-in to have a terrific view of the gulf for that? He spoke to the front desk manager (Max) who said it was out of his hands. Even though you pay them, you can't control when they start working on your property in the mornings? This is unacceptable. We pay astronomical amounts to stay here so we can get a 5 star experience. This was closer to a 3. I'm saddened that not only did we spend our one vacation this year with these issues, my husband says we will never go back to this Ritz. read more

This is a beautiful property. Located on the beach with an adult & kids pools. The overall service is 5 star Ritz. What you expect at these prices. My problem was with housekeeping and the Breakfast restaurant. Housekeeping hadn't cleaned my room, the first day when we got back at 5 pm. Had to call 3 times to get any response and then it was cleaned an hour later, while we got dressed to go out. The next day housekeeping didnt put a top sheet on the bed. The service in Nolita, for breakfast, the first two days was impeccable. Wonderful waitress, great personality. The next two days were the exact opposite. Rude waitress who didnt seem to like her job. Overall should be a 5 star property but seems to be off in several areas. read more

Beautiful Flagship Ritz Carlton property. The recent renovations have rich exquisite Venetian type designs and majestic decor. Reception, concierge, staff, and restaurant have an amazing coordination and efficiently deliver high end Ritz quality hospitality, very perceptive in catering to your needs, and making your special occasions indeed special. The staff plays a vital role in maintaining the ambience for a high end stay, activities and interactions. The resort itself is situated on clear water, soft quartz white sand beaches with private access and beach side presence. Swimming is a delight in long and wide sand bars as you enter the waters.. so it remains shallow quite far into the water and this makes it very unique and enjoyable perk at Ritz Naples. The feel in the resort and views are certainly of a remote stunning high-end Carribean destination (with advantages of Gulf of Mexico features), indeed reflecting geographical proximity than other Florida destinations. The pool and other amenities are pleasantly well maintained and good. The activities on site and holiday time celebrations are excellently managed, diverse set of activities with new ideas you don't easily see elsewhere, quality offerings, decoration-simply splendid. You can feel the resources arranged and invested to contribute to the resort stay. Simply love the retail and shopping options on site, and after all these impressive descriptions, we come to our absolute favorites, which are their restaurants Sofra, Nolita, and Dusk. Their innovative dishes and hospitality does influence our decision to return often. If it weren't for the flag I wouldn't have guessed this is a Ritz-Carlton because the only RC thing about it is the price tag. I understand they went through a renovation because of hurricane damage so this review is based on the service only--which apparently was also washed out by the waves. I was with a big group so maybe that had something to do with the bad service because we love the Ritz. Looking back, there were red flags before we even arrived. I emailed the spa to make reservations after talking to someone on the phone first. (This doesn't seem like the most efficient way to do this) I didn't hear back. Left a voicemail message. No return calls reaches out to them on social media. Nothing. Finally got a hold of someone and they said they don't know why they never saw the email. Ok. Stuff happens. We arrived and our room wasn't ready. When it was--we opened the door to the wrong type room with someone else's personal belongings in it. Back down to reception. No apology, but she kept telling me "but that IS your room." Calls someone else over who doesn't even look up at us, and she says "well I guess we can move her to another room." Second room is also wrong room type so back down we go. Third time a charm? No. After unpacking and ironing clothes for the week..I go to shower for dinner and no hot water. What's worse, the entire floor is flooded even though shower door was closed. Call down. Again, no apology and she asks if I want someone to come up and look at it--it'll take about 20mins. Wow. Someone finally comes up and he is awesome. Barry apologizes and is so genuine, I want to take him home with me. He tells me it's not my fault, it's a design flaw that causes flooding. Long story short they take it all apart and can't fix it. On to 4th room. Now, the rest of the story: the food is subpar. The sushi is worse than grocery store sushi--I'm not kidding. Ralph's Carlton would've been better. We're in a business dinner and the server like 5 times interrupted the big bosses telling great stories. It was awful. Gumbo Limbo by the beach is great for sunset but the food was like bad beach food. Onto the spa--services were great. Second day we were in there, we wanted to order lunch but Michelle made it seem like it was a total inconvenience because she kept saying "we have to get from the hotel because we don't have food here." (You know, the big building connected to the spa.) We order, they charge an extra delivery fee--whatever, but it's for two guests and they bring one setting and one water...leave and don't come back til we're half way done asking us to sign the tab. The pool at spa was unattended and it wasn't fun trying to put the big umbrellas up and move furniture around--but that was my work out. Sorry--didn't realize how long this review already was. I'm just super disappointed in this property. It's not the Gold Standard we love and they are known for. The setting is beautiful and I posted envious videos on social media during the visit but felt I had to be honest about our experience. They've got a long way to go. I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the "Breakfast with Santa" event that my family and I attended at The Ritz-Carlton on December 21. What I anticipated to be a first-class experience, fitting of the hotel's world-renowned reputation, turned out to be the most appalling and unprofessional service I have ever encountered. First, I must highlight the completely unsanitary practices at the omelet station. The staff member preparing the omelets was wearing visibly greasy, dirty gloves, which alone was highly unappetizing. What was even more shocking was when I observed her using her hands -- instead of the spatula provided -- to press down on another guest's omelet. Then, when it was my turn, she proceeded to use her gloved hands (instead of the tongs available) to pick up spinach and tomatoes for my omelet. I was utterly disgusted by this lack of basic food hygiene, especially at an establishment of this caliber. When I called over the supervisor and chef to express my concerns, I could not fathom how such unsanitary practices were allowed to happen. Gloves covered in grease and dirt should never touch food directly, particularly in a high-end establishment where hygiene should be paramount. In addition, the buffet service was poorly managed. After going up for seconds, my family and I returned to our table only to find it cleared entirely. Coffees, juices, utensils -- everything had been removed as though we had left. We had only been seated for about 10 minutes, and this assumption by the waitstaff was both premature and deeply disrespectful. The embarrassment on their faces when we returned did little to mitigate the inconvenience and insult. It was completely unacceptable for staff to clear a table so quickly without confirming with the guests, leaving us to feel unwelcome and undervalued. To add to the dissatisfaction, the food quality was extremely poor. The bacon was ice cold, the sausages tasted unpleasant, and overall, the offerings were no better than those at a budget hotel. For the amount of money charged for this event, the quality of food was simply indefensible. This experience left me feeling completely robbed of my money and cheated of what should have been a special holiday occasion for my family. The service, the hygiene, and the food all fell far below any reasonable standard, let alone those expected at The Ritz-Carlton. I strongly urge you to address these issues to ensure no other guests have to endure such an appalling experience at the Ritz in Naples fl on Vanderbilt beach road. read more

This was a top-notch and delightful visit to the Ritz Carlton Naples. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and many of the staff we encountered seemed to know and want to make it special. Our room in the new tower was spectacular. We can't say enough about the room, impeccably clean and decorated. The Club amenities and service were fantastic, everyone working in the Club area was gracious and solution-focused. We had wonderful meals at Sofra and Dusk. The property is so beautifully appointed, but it's the hotel and restaurant staff that made it amazing. A note, not a criticism, just a note for people considering this location. It is definitely family-friendly, especially in the Club. Children do bring a fun spirit to an environment that might otherwise be staid. This is a great choice for those who want to have a luxury experience and know your kids will be welcomed. For those who will not be traveling with kids - it's great as long as you can appreciate the family atmosphere. The only experience that did not measure up was the spa. It was so uncharacteristic of the rest of our stay that we wondered if it was operated by a company other than Ritz Carlton. From the check-in process through our services, the spa amenities, and check-out, this was not a Ritz Carlton-level experience. The high-quality experiences throughout the rest of the property, the club, and the restaurants served to make the sub-standard spa experience all the more apparent. read more

There is disruptive construction resulting in several services and the adult pool being closed. Our view was supposed to be the ocean which you could see if you turn 90 degrees to face away from the construction. Their valet service was poorly run, I called in the morning around 8:30 am asking for the car to be ready at 9:30 am but we got the car around 9:50 so we were late to breakfast with our parents. I also called for more towels and conditioner but nobody ever came so we had to chase down house keeping. The restaurants close super early, we made a reservation online for Dusk at 9:30 pm but they called us to see if we could come sooner due to an event they we're hosting. It made no sense since they should have updated their system if that time was off limits. It felt like a 2-star hotel, NOT a Ritz Carlton. Very disappointed by the false advertising pictures on their website. read more
