I have been to Naples yearly for the past 30+ years. As every middle-class American does, many times we went to whichever Naples Beach Property that had a great rate. We always knew we liked LaPlaya the best but many times it was on the more expensive side. Well, after this past stay, I will only stay at LaPlaya. The service and accommodations are the best in Naples. From the time the Valet takes your car at check-in, until the time that they deliver it back to you after check out, you are treated to a fantastic guest experience. From now on, LaPlaya is the only resort I would consider when staying in Vanderbilt Beach. Check it out. You won't be sorry!

La Playa Beach resort is always a place I go to when I'm in Naples. The staff here is really friendly and I love that they set up your beach equipment for you. The views are stunning and everything here is top tier. Sometimes, the food and drink can be overpriced, but it is still enjoyable! A recent favorite of mine has been the big kahuna dog and the tropical frose.

La Playa Beach and Golf Resort in Naples Florida is a beautiful place to stay. The resort has so many wonderful amenities and a fantastic restaurant. I'm attending business meetings here but my Wife has been able to see quite a bit of this wonderful place. We just watched the gorgeous Sunset over the Gulf of America and it was absolutely breathtaking!

"An Anniversary to Remember at LaPlaya Beach Resort - Where You're Treated Like a Star" Last week, my wife and I celebrated our anniversary at La Playa Beach & Golf Resort in beautiful Naples, Florida. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like celebrities. It all began with Wenderson Annorat, the assistant front-office manager, whose radiant smile and cheerful greeting immediately set the tone for a warm atmosphere of hospitality. His calm professionalism and genuine delight in welcoming us created the feeling that our stay truly mattered. Wenderson didn't stop at the desk; he proactively offered restaurant suggestions tailored to our tastes and even followed up later with a phone call to ensure our room and dinner arrangements were just right. We took Wenderson's recommendation and ate at Baleen. Naples is known for its excellent restaurants, and our meal at Baleen was truly exceptional. The Property We booked an ocean-front room with an oversized balcony and views of the Gulf that left us speechless. The tastefully decorated room and thoughtful attention are hallmarks of La Playa's service. Set against the Gulf's turquoise waters, the resort blends upscale elegance with a laid-back, coastal vibe. Our room boasted sweeping ocean views, plush linens, and thoughtful amenities, fluffy bathrobes, a well-stocked minibar, and a Jacuzzi tub that elevated the experience. Dining Destinations Thanks to Wenderson's tip, we savored dinner at the Baleen, the resort's signature beachfront restaurant. What a treat the menu was! Every dish seemed to sing with the taste of fresh, locally caught seafood and exotic tropical notes, all paired with cocktails that were works of art. The staff welcomed us like we were old friends, making the whole experience feel wonderfully intimate. We also ate breakfast at Baleen. A nice touch is the toasted sourdough bread that we had with our meal. Service That Shines Personal touches abounded: seamless check-in and check-out. Everywhere we went, team members, including the valets, beamed with warm greetings, indicating a culture that truly invests in the guest experience. Moments That Sparkle One evening, we found a chilled bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a handwritten note waiting in our room, a surprise arranged by the front desk team to commemorate our anniversary. Paired with the sound of ocean waves steps away from our balcony, it was a moment of pure romantic magic. Final Verdict: LaPlaya Beach Resort is not just a place to stay; it's a place to be celebrated, with breathtaking beachfront views, refined dining, and impeccable service led by Gregg Harper, the resort's general manager. Gregg and his team deliver an elevated, boutique-style escape. For anniversaries, milestone celebrations, or anyone craving the red carpet treatment, La Playa is the place. We left feeling like VIPs, with memories that will brighten our future.

Great view but super overcrowded and loud. It was over 20 minutes before we were served. Then we suffered sticker shock as drinks were $20+ and a salad + protein was $40 on average. Once was enough.

I really loved the resort, very professional staff, very attending, the cleanliness was A+ the service was awesome, the only thing i have a complaint is that for the prices they have they should upgrade the hotel. The room was clean, but the toilet paper holder was broken, i went to pull on one of the drawers and the handle came off, the mattresses were not comfortable at all, it had a hole in the middle, we got a king size bed and we were both in the middle of the bed sinking. We also got a room with a sofa bed for my 87 year old mother and the mattress was really bad, for that to say, the reservation was for 3 persons so i would say they should have some sheets pillows and covers for the sofa bed, i had to call room service around 11 pm to bring me the sheets and pillows for the sofa bed. It took like 15 minutes in which i had to call twice since my mom wanted to go to bed already after a graduation party we attended, this is to say also that the young man that came to bring the bed linen apologized 3 times which it was very nice and professional of him, Oh one important thing, the A/C was really not cold, we put the temperature at 64 and the room was not very cold, we first said it could be because it was really hot but as the night fell it should have gotten colder to no avail, but besides this incident, and the upgrade of the rooms very much needed, the hotel was really nice, the view we had was tremendous view, we ate breakfast in the restaurant and the service and professionalism of the waiter was really enjoyable, the food was A+ also. Besides all of my complaints about the upgrade, i would stay again, i just hope that they work and upgrade the rooms so i can write a much better review next time....any ways WE ENJOYED OUR STAYED...IT WAS REALLY NICE!!!!!

The hotel is not in good shape. Our room had what appeared to be mold spots on the ceiling they tried the cover. Floors were scratched. Tub had pits and rust in it. Water came under the front door. Other areas of the lobby were leaking water. It is not what you expect for almost $1000 a night. On a positive note, the breakfast and service at the restaurant was great.

We struck up a conversation, and she thanked me for my patience while waiting in line. Since I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, I asked if there happened to be any upgrades available. She smiled and said she had found one for me. I thanked her, headed upstairs, and opened the doors to what I can only describe as the most incredible hotel suite I have ever seen. I knew something was different the moment I saw the double entry doors. Inside was an immaculate, magnificent suite featuring a spacious living room, a luxurious master bedroom, a second bedroom, spacious living room and **three bathrooms**, with breathtaking views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the beach, and the pool from multiple balconies. The master bathroom alone was larger than many standard hotel rooms and even featured its own Toto toilet. Every detail reflected luxury, from the remote-controlled drapes and sheers to every toiletry imaginable, and even a thoughtfully stocked minibar featuring Macallan 12. I was so stunned that I immediately Face Timed my wife to show her the suite. Her reaction? *"You have to come get me."* I had driven two hours from home to attend a conference and had expected nothing more than a beautiful room with a king-size bed. Instead, I found myself in what felt like a private luxury residence. So, I got back in my car, drove the two hours home, picked up my wife and daughter, and then drove the two hours back to Naples--all so they could experience this extraordinary suite with me. It was absolutely worth every mile. I've been staying in hotels for more than 50 years, and without question, this is the finest hotel room I have ever experienced. What makes the experience even more remarkable is that it all came from a complimentary upgrade as a Marriott Bonvoy member. That one thoughtful gesture transformed a business trip into an unforgettable family memory. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples delivered an experience I'll never forget. Thank you to the wonderful woman at the front desk for her kindness and generosity and thank you to everyone at the Ritz-Carlton for making this one of the most memorable hotel stays of my life.

Our rooms were ready upon checking in and it was an easy process. When first walking in the lobby I loved the chandeliers and luxury feel of the hotel. They have valet service which they're all extremely nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that was equipped with a kitchen/sink/fridge/and dishwasher which was nice on nights we wanted to eat in. The beds were my favorite as the sheets are very comfy. The view is stellar over looking the marina with boats docked. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset. I also think the highlight of this hotel is the service. Our rooms were cleaned every day, even when we were in our rooms late afternoon and needed the room cleaned later on in the day without having to ask to come back later for cleaning. Also, the pools, hot tub, and lazy river are so fun and beautifully kept. There is also an adult only section of the pool with a lap pool , regular pool, and hot tub which was nice. However, the club where the pools are are a little far and the hotel staff transport you to and from the pools back to the hotel. Some times it takes five minutes but when they're busy you might wait 10-20 minutes for a shuttle which can sometimes be hard to wait with small children. Also, if you want a shuttle to the beach it's great because they give you towels, umbrellas, and chairs. The downside is we had to wait almost 30 minutes for the shuttle back to the hotel. The same gentlemen that valet the cars are the ones that shuttle guests around. When they're busy valeting, shuttle services get backed up. I do think they should have more shuttles, but other than that it was a wonderful experience. Lastly, Larry was one of the best shuttle staff. He was personable, helpful, and always had a smile. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.

We were sat on a high top table after we said we had 3 small kids. I asked if the high chair was as high as the table and we were told yes. To my surprise when the high chair came it was the height of a regular chair to which my toddler kept sliding off. We ordered the kids food first so it would come out "quicker". The food took about 45 mins to an hour to come. When I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy I was told I could not eat their French fries, I could not have anything that was fried since it was all with the same oil. I ordered the burger on their menu which after waiting for my food I was told I could also not have that. I ended up eating a regular cheese burger. We said we wouldn't return, but at dinner time there are apparently 5 restaurants at the resort. Some don't allow children, another requires a dress code, so in reality you have 3 restaurants to choose from. We returned to Quinn's for dinner, where we waited an hour for our food after ordering. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was not full and mind you there are 5 other restaurants on property. When our food arrived, the ceviche that was ordered was completely dry. To be honest the food was below average. I'd recommend anyone staying here to eat OUTSIDE the hotel. We also tried the other restaurant the Polynesian one. The food was average, it also took a very long time. On the third evening we dinned outside of the hotel and the service was much better. The services from the waiters was fine however the kitchen needs to improve. The breakfast restaurant with the buffet is designed so you pay the high price of $44 for a buffet. We ordered something from the regular menu because some people weren't going to eat enough to make the $44 worth it. The food took so long, it's almost as if they do it on purpose so you're more likely to choose the buffet, pay extra to get your food immediately. Mind you, some of the things ordered were waffles, which were available on the buffet side immediately made. For the $600-$1000 that this hotel costs a night. I do not find the service and attention worth it. The rooms need upgrades, staff takes a long time to answer the phone, however when you call from and outside line, they answer immediately. You're better off staying at the Hilton, and paying less.

From the minute we arrived to our last breakfast before departing has left a memorable experience. It is an intimate setting , yet in the middle of everything in the fashionable Fifth Ave S location. Close the beach and walkable to everything. The restaurant called Veranda E overlooking the pool was so romantic that every dish coming from the kitchen was a work of art . We ordered the calamari with our happy hour wine and it was probably the best prepared calamari I have had. Clearly the owners if this inn understand quality and service! I will definitely return for another visit.

Instead of ordering à la carte off the menu, they switched to a prefix $195 per person menu. When we asked the restaurant why they were doing this to all of their patrons this late in the game, the girl replied it was not her decision, but the owners. Fat chance we could get a reservation this close to the event somewhere else. I will never eat here again.

Absolutely love this hotel. This was our first time back since hurricane ian. The service we…read morereceived from front desk and most staff was amazing. The managers were so attentive and every time we passed by checked in on us to see what activities we had done or suggest new activities for us to do. We loved the kayaking and paddle boards - also rented jet skis 2 separate days. Getting day passes for additional guests was super easy. Love the ease of the bracelets doing everything, being the key, room charge, proof we belong - super easy for everyone to keep track Of! The complimentary breakfast was "ok" nothing spectacular, but still decent. The guy who collected the towels by the pool (seemed like a manager/lead) was rude every single day - to the point we waited to take our towels back a few times to avoid another interaction. We will definitely be back!

The entire area was clean, right on the beach, and the staff was friendly everywhere we went. The resort offers a ton of amenities: free kayaks, bikes, paddleboards, lounge chairs, and umbrellas. They also have paid options like fishing charters and other nearby excursions. There are three pools total -- two family pools and one adults‑only pool -- plus a couple of hot tubs. Our room was amazing. We were on the first floor with a perfect view of the beach. The adults‑only pool was right in front of our balcony, so we could relax, listen to the music, or join the trivia games happening throughout the day. The room itself was spacious and included a kitchenette with a stove, which made it easy to cook if we wanted to. You can stay busy here or do absolutely nothing -- we chose the "chill" route. There are two restaurants and a bar on the property, but if you want more options, you can walk about 15-30 minutes (rough estimate) or drive 2 mins (fyi paid parking) to the main strip with plenty of shops and restaurants. The front desk also told us about a trolley that runs for $0.75 each way or $2.00 for an all‑day pass. Everything was close by, we didn't get in our car until it was time to head home. We'll definitely be coming back. It's a little on the pricier side, but with everything included -- and probably more that I'm forgetting -- it's absolutely worth it.
