Amazing service! Initially I was afraid to try acupuncture for the first time but I'm so glad I did. You barely feel the needle. It's not like the needles phlebotomists use to draw blood lol. I was miserable with constant nerve pain for months due to cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve in the neck). I tried just about everything from chiropractic adjustments to physical therapy but nothing seemed to make the nerve pain go away. A few friends of mine had seen Dr. Murao for other reasons and spoke very highly of his care. I was ready to try anything if it meant getting rid of the pain. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Murao within a week. Dr. Murao is nothing short of amazing. After explaining where I was feeling pain, he was able to target those areas using massage, acupuncture and cupping. He made every effort to make sure I was comfortable during the hour and a half session. Immediately after the treatment I was already feeling like the nerve pain was gone. He fixed me like Mr. Miyagi magically fixed Daniel before he won the All Valley Karate Tournament. This was my first visit and I was more than pleased with everything. I've had shingles for the last five weeks. I came in to see what could be done about the continual pain and discomfort. Well, it's the third day and Evan did tell me that it might take a couple days to feel a difference and now I really do. Any reduction of pain is much welcomed and I can see I'm turning a corner. I will have a few more sessions and now feel very hopeful. I wasn't feeling all that hopeful before as the pain and discomfort was just not changing for the better. I was a little nervous because I hadn't had acupuncture before, but as soon as I met him, I knew I could trust him. He started with a wonderful massage to loosen my muscles, and then cupped the area I needed help with. The cupping was then followed by acupuncture, which was not in the least bit painful. Evan has treated me several times for different issues that I've had. The first time was for chronic knee pain that I was living with for years because I had injured it. He took the time to talk about what treatment was going to be done and educated me as well during the process! After my first treatment, I was able to bend my knee without pain. I never had so much relief in my life! Just a few days ago, I tore both of my calf muscles and It was extremely painful to the point that I could barely even stand up without wanting to cry. Evan worked on me for almost 2 hours and my pain decreased tremendously! I was able to walk without limping and being in pain. I had knee surgery just over 4 months ago. That's been making my lower back suffer more than usual. My job is physical so I understand. Today I woke up with my knee really sore but my lower back reached a level of pain I haven't had in a very long time. Not only did Evan make himself available but he came to my house, because it was to painful for me to make it to him. By the time Evan was done with me, he allowed me to have alot more range in my back, relieved pressure in my knee, and lowered my pain levels tremendously!! I highly recommend Evan!!
