I've been going to Michelle for over a year now and I must say she always makes my day. She is very knowledgeable about skin care and takes the time to get to know your personal needs. I was suffering from horrible acne and she's really help me turn that around. She always returns calls, gets appointments when needed (and works around my crazy schedule!) I always feel like I'm just visiting a friend. She uses good products and includes a mini massage in with the facial - which makes it a great experience. I recently moved to Dallas, TX and had to get a spray tan for my engagement party...and I had a horrible experience. SO...Instead of writing a bad review for the place in Texas, I am going to use my time to give a glowing 5-star review for Michelle at Inner Glimmer instead! Michelle is always prompt to return phone calls or messages for appointments, even when it's last minute. The boutique itself is so cute, and impeccably decorated...and most importantly clean. When you arrive for your appointment, she greets you and if it's your first time she walks you through everything very carefully and makes sure you know what to expect and what to do. Her treatment room/airbrush space is elegant decorated too...and again clean. Everything from the way she preps your skin before the tan, to HOW she applies the spray tan, to how she finishes you up at the end (taking care to help you tidy up around the ankles, feet and hands) is TOP NOTCH. And lastly, the service is quick. No waiting around for your skin to dry. The tan itself looks gorgeous and she knows exactly how to customize colors for your skin tone. I never had a single issue with any of my tans looking too dark or orange, and they always last a solid 7 days. After countless doctors that did nothing to help, I decided massage therapy was the next step. I raved about my first facial with Michelle in 2013 and just think it's time for an update. I've been going to Michelle for monthly facials for almost 3 years and it has literally changed my skin. I have been a regular client of Michelle's for several years. I go in every 6 weeks for a facial and occasionally get a spray tan. I feel so blessed to have found someone of Michelle's caliber so close to home. Here are all the things I love: 1. Abundant free parking - a big plus in the South Bay 2. Sole proprietor- you're not quickly ushered through a large spa. It's just Michelle and she takes the time to do what is needed for your skin 3. The bed/table - OMG! So relaxing! I never thought the bed/table mattered to me, but her's is top of the line. 4. Quality - the best facial in town! Michelle uses top of the line products (I'm now a huge fan of Skinceuticals and Naturopathica and use some of them at home). She spends the time on my skin as needed. And the mini upper back massage is amazing! 5. Product Recommendations - while Michelle uses great products, I really like that she doesn't push them on me and often recommends cheaper products I can find at Target for a couple bucks. 6. Price - I feel that Michelle is fairly priced and I get great value for my money. 7. Spray tans - I've only been getting the occasional spray tan the last few years and previously went somewhere else. Not only are Michelle's organic and safe, but they last over a week and often two weeks. She makes my German/Irish splotchy skin look natural and tan! The only negative is that Michelle can get really busy. I was reluctant to put out a glowing review as those appointments may be harder to get. I always book my next appointment when I leave, so I don't usually have a problem. But she's not the kind of place where you can call and expect to get in the next day (although she does sometimes have cancellations). read more

As an esthetician, I am very critical about who touches my face. I have been to many of the bigger spas in Manhattan Beach and Michelle is by far the best out there at what she does. Let me first start off by saying that Michelle is a healer. Her facials are personalized to your needs and she walks you through everything she is doing without trying to sell you anything. She uses Skinceuticals Products that are a result driven line. I came in with super congested skin and walked out glowing. A week after my facial and my skin is PERFECT! She is so knowledgable about skin, healing and nutrition. I love her vibe and the way she makes you feel. I also have to comment on her spray tans. She does an amazing job giving you a natural tan with this great product that you leave on for at least 4 hours and then shower off. It doesn't leave you sticky or tacky at all. The results are wonderful. You can get sprayed in the morning and be good to go for an evening out. Her studio is clean, cute and comfortable. Before I left she offered me a chilled water with a splash of Apple Cider Vinegar and it was delicious as well as benifical in so many different ways. It's the little things that really stick with me. If I could give Inner Glimmer and Michelle a hundred stars, I would. I can't wait to go back for my next facial!!! read more

I went to Michelle for a much needed facial and she was by far the best Esthetician I've experienced! She made me feel relaxed from beginning to end and was so knowledgeable about the skin. She gave me helpful tips and explained to me the products worth spending money on and products where I could save money buying drugstore brands. I'm pretty selective who I let handle my face and my body... when I first moved to LA my face took a turn for the worst and it was a disaster... I met Michelle of Inner Glimmer and she invited me in for a facial, I probably said NO, but she convinced me she'd handle me with care and not scar my skin... A friend of mine always has the most beautiful natural looking tan (no orange) and she recommended Inner Glimmer. She told me Michelle gives the best facials as well. I called Inner Glimmer and spoke to the owner Michelle who was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. I came into her beautiful studio (very zen and chic) and everything was such a treat...the complimentary champagne, aromatherapy scented warm towels, heated bed, yummy soft sheets, etc. She definitely pays attention to details. My facial...I expressed my concern about my sensitive skin and problem areas. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The facial was a treat from beginning to end. Her skin care products (Skinceuticals) made my skin feel baby soft and the glow I have is RIDICULOUS!! So fresh and beautiful! I was concerned about a few pimples that popped up and she used a high frequency wand on them and you could instantly see a difference.
