This place is a hidden gem, the owner is super cool and has such a great selection of books,…read morecomics, some records, magazines, instruments and more . The prices are amazing too. Not only is this place cool they have serious history in there on those shelves. They have books from the early 1900s, 1800's and I think late 1700s too if I'm not mistaken. Just seeing them and being able to touch them is such a cool experience, i was blown away . Definitely go show some support and pick up some books and help support this awesome business.

It's 100% volunteer, so make sure you call ahead or head there early, just in case they're not fully staffed. The deals are worth it, though, and the money goes right into the library system, so it all stays local. You never know what you'll find, and its well organized, clean, and tidy. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). One clerk in particular I called on the phone and her name is (McKenna) and I told her I wanted the old farmers almanac 2025 box calendar. When I got there, she had three different ones and I picked the one that I wanted. I posted a picture of it. The store is awesome and I always meet interesting people as I just did now, I met an artist that specializes in a number of things, but when I said cats, she gave me her card because she does portraits of pets. I am going to be doing business with her get yourself over the Books A Million, a.k.a. We spent time perusing the stacks, where he found just what he was looking for and I rekindled my love for Mercedes Lackey and her fantasy series. I love the way a bookstore smells and BAM is no different. One thing that they have above the other retail sellers? They take used books, including school books. YES! Information regarding pricing or what was in stock was impossible to find so I had to go and check it out first hand. I was greeted upon immediately walking in. This place is way bigger than I thought it would be. I started browsing the book shelves that were in front and worked my way back towards the store. I only looked through the fiction section but noticed a huge selection of other genres like Sci Fi and Adult Romance. There was also a children's section in the back. Walking towards the front of the store, there were shelves with DVDs as well. In the middle of the store, there's a little lounge section with comfortable chairs and tables to read at. I was carrying several books so I decided to grab a shopping basket. They have the cool ones that have wheels and suitcase like handles. I finally made my way to the register and chatted with the employee. She asked if I found everything i was looking for, to which I did not. She offered to look up titles I wanted and even though they did not have any in the store, she offered to put my information in the system if those books do show up. I purchased 6 books and paid almost $20. Not horrible but I thought for sure it would be cheaper. They have a buy back program, where you receive store credits but I forgot to inquire about the details. Of course I will be back!
