I somehow drove there, and made my 3pm appointment. 3pm came and went. so did 4pm. oh, and 5pm. I waited in an exam room for 2 hours before a doctor saw me. I even popped my head out and asked the nurse what was going on....then i hear the doctor chatting it up next door with another patient. I understand the need for patient-doctor interaction, but seriously, 30 minutes chatting about pets? when i'm waiting next door?? with a migrane!? finally, the doctor comes in. asks me the usual questions bla bla bla, writes me a Rx, sends me on my way. another weird thing, this office MAKES you take a drug screen (which you must pay for), to make sure you're not abusing Rx drugs before seeing the doctor. sketch. the one good thing abt this office is that they offer IV drips of medication to break severe migranes. unfortunately, by the time the dr. saw me, the infusion nurse had gone home. SURPRISE. I found a much more competent, timely doctor in the Med Center....even with the drive there and back, i wasted less time!

I took time off work for this appointment, only to have it canceled. Never again.

Then Ken (we are on a first name basis with all the staff) who makes a point of acknowledging all the patients coming in for treatment. Of course, my very favorite therapist, Van. he's patient and thorough, and very creative. if something doesn't work for you, he invents another similar procedure that accomplishes the same outcome. this is the only place I will come for therapy. it has helped me a great deal. She floated between locations at that time but no longer sees patients which is a bummer as I really liked her. Apparently she teaches now. However, I've found several nurse practitioners that are equally as knowledgeable, professional and have good bedside manners. The other locations are clean and the staff mostly friendly but this one tends to be my favorite. This location just feels more like a doctors office and the others that I've visited feel more like a clinic. This one is further from my home but I don't mind driving for quality healthcare. They also have an on-site pharmacy and seem to offer a wide variety of services.
