Then the front desk lady said they're ready for you, not even getting up or making eye contact or anything. Ok?! Professionalism please? 30 minutes later Nurse comes asks questions about what he's feeling 30 minutes later doctor comes in to ask what's wrong . Didn't make eye contact, very cold. Then she says that she will get him an IV. Takes what seems like forever for a nurse to come give him an IV. Nurse comes in and takes blood, (they didn't even say they were going to take blood) my husband proceeds to tell him what can be wrong and why he's throwing up and the nurse is just standing there quiet. Kind of like he can give two sh*ts about my husband and what he's saying. Wouldn't recommend coming here and wouldn't come back!!

When she walked in the nurse Bonita was sweet and concerned, but when my wife told her she was waiting for her wife to park the car her demeanor turned cold and unfeeling. Keep your homophobic bigotry at home, lady! We waited patiently almost 30 minutes, but my wife couldn't handle the pressure on her back so she lied on her stomach on the floor. We were there for a good 30 minutes and then Bonita walks up and says, "ma'am, you can't lay there". She told her that her back was in such pain and this was the only way it didn't hurt. Bonita told her she'd have to move but she said she couldn't move without being in pain. Bonita then got the in-charge nurse Kevin and they both said to her, "well you're going to have to get up. You're going to get up". Instead of slowly helping her to her knees, they rushed her even though she was screaming in pain. From her knees they rushed her on to the stretcher. The nurse Bonita was rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing the entire time. Lady, if you don't want to deal with ailing humans why in the hell did you become a nurse? When they rolled her into intake, they put the stretcher in an upright position even though it caused her immense pain. They did all of that just to take her blood pressure even though later, another nurse took her blood pressure while she was lying face down on the stretcher. This guy Kevin was the head nurse but kept telling my wife to calm down and relax even though she was in a position of pain. Then when they were done they asked her 21 questions in a forced upright position - even though she could've answered the questions lying on her back. I later found another nurse named Jeff who was the only person in that place that understood the meaning of "compassion". When another nurse, Marlon, and the doctor, Dr. Medina both forced her sit upright or roll over to her front just to speak to her even though it caused her immense pain, I wanted to scream. They didn't even touch her or hardly look at anything. They diagnosed her with Sciatica, but the next day we went to an actual orthopedist and he said that for a clear diagnosis a MRI is needed, and that two of the four medications they gave her are practically the same thing and that taking them both at the same time is an overdosage and can cause kidney failure. Dr. Medina and nurse Marlon Villanueva DID NOT mention that at all! Then this afternoon we received a call from St. Luke's asking how our experience was. My wife told them it was the worst medical service she received the woman was shocked. I called back and told them the details. The woman didn't even seem to listen. She waited until I stopped talking and said, "it's unfortunate your family member had a bad experience. I'll tell the Nurse Manager". REALLY? THAT'S IT? Seems as though I'll have to talk to the head of St. Luke's. And you rude lady, I told you it was my wife. Say "wife". I know St. Luke's is religious affiliated, I didn't know that automatically meant they were anti-gay. We shouldn't be charged $1,000 when they were medically negligent either.

My veterinarian recommended Pearland 288 Animal Emergency Clinic. Everything was being facilitated through my veterinarian's office. When I arrived with my dog, Eva ripped into me. Quote- Unquote per Eva: "We do not take care of animals that need 24/7 care." "We do not take care of animals with these kind of medical issues." Although, it was 4th of July weekend, I knew in my heart, that if it was meant to be, I needed to let my dog pass away at home with pure love, compassion, dignity, and respect. I was literally walking out the door with my dog to go home. Eva stopped me from leaving and she had a completely different attitude and the paperwork was in order. I put down a $8,500 deposit for four days which also included a 2% credit card fee. SCAM ARTISTS!!! I found zero comfort in the updated phone calls from the following veterinarian's. 1) Dr. Coffey did not have the professionalism to call the veterinarian who performed the ultrasound on my dog and request the imaging and report. How could Dr. Coffey properly perform her job without the ultrasound imaging and report? 2) Dr. Linton, owner, spoke to me like she was a robot. All I heard from Dr. Linton was; "BLAH, BLAH, BLAH" 3) Dr. Hardegree was Mr. Hooray "Rah, Rah, Rah" cheerleader who was truly trying to make me believe my dog did an immediate health turnaround and was coming home. He literally told me the diagnostic tests showed great improvement. (enzymes, counts, and values were all improving) I explained this in detail to my veterinarian regarding Dr. Hardegree's new diagnosis. I heard nothing on the other end of the phone - pure silence, which told me that Dr. Hardegree was giving me false hope. My veterinarian was in dismay regarding Dr. Hardegree's diagnosis. I told my veterinarian to examine my dog and call me back immediately because I am picking up my dog tonight. He called me back and said; "Your dog is not improving. How long will it take you to get here?" I picked up my dog about a half hour later. The total cost was just under $10,000 including a plethora of medications to take home. Less than 12 hours later my dog passed away at home. I have comfort in knowing that my dog passed away in her mommy's arms at home surrounded by her entire family. My dog was not in pain or suffering but passed away with pure love, compassion, dignity, and respect. Stating the above, I know how I was treated by the staff which was beyond unprofessional, disrespectful, and disgraceful. I damn well know that my dog, a helpless sick animal, was treated worse. Although, I listened to the professional advise of my veterinarian and I do believe that my veterinarian was truly looking out for the best interest of my dog. I knew in my heart it was a grievous mistake leaving my dog at Pearland 288 Animal Emergency Clinic and I now have to live with that mistake. The bottomline, Pearland 288 Animal Emergency Clinic should have made me feel reassured that my faith and trust for my beloved dog was placed in the right hands. I will pay anything for the professional and ethical care of my beloved dog(s). Sadly, my faith and trust was most certainly misplaced! Beloved Pet Owner's Beware!!! To be very clear and concise, this review is based on the truth and pure facts! Any response from the owner is 100% superfluous. LINSEY IS TRYING TO SPEAK ABOUT ISSUES INTELLIGENTLY WHEN LINSEY HAS NO BASIS TO SPEAK UPON THESE ISSUES ACCURATELY. FOR THE RECORD, REVIEWS ARE FOR BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES. MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS CALL OUT CERTAIN VETERINARIAN'S BY NAME REGARDING THEIR DISHEARTENING EXPERIENCE(S). IF PEARLAND 288 ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC CAN'T HANDLE THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW, BASED ON THE TRUTH AND PURE FACTS, THEN THEY NEED TO ADDRESS THIS WITH THE VETERINARIAN'S DIRECTLY AS TO WHY THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW WAS WRITTEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

Due to the poor care he received he is currently in the hospital. Despite a text from the director on July 11 saying that he would talk to the chef about a low salt diet for Dad, no one spoke with the chef and they kept him on a regular diet. He has congestive heart failure. All of that salt caused an extreme build up of fluid around his lungs, heart and legs. That was what sent him to the ER. The medication list the Landing sent with him to the ER was missing 3 medications, including his diuretic. On his first day at the facility he received none of his medication. He was in memory care at the highest level of care but they wouldn't remind him to wear his compression socks until we got a doctor's order so his legs were very swollen. They seemed to be short staffed and there appeared to be a severe lack of communication between shifts. I would not let the Landing care for my cat much less my father! Please be careful if you are thinking about this place for your loved one. This includes: Negligence of the staff including refusal to give showers which forced our loved one to try to give herself a shower in which case she fell and got injured. After she fell, she pushed her panic button. She said nobody came to help her for over an hour. When the staff finally came, they let our Mom who has dementia make the medical decision not to go to the ER that night. I received a phone call at 12:40 am that Mom had fallen and chose not to go to the ER. I mentioned to them that I have medical power of attorney to make these decisions for Mom. I was told that this does not matter. I took Mom to the ER at 8 am once Orchard Parks opened. Fortunately she had not broken anything but had a 6" contusion the size of a grapefruit on her back that was purple and raised. The ER Dr informed us that if Mom had hit her head, she would have died as she is on blood thinners. Mom shared that the young lady who was supposed to help her with her shower would routinely come into Mom's room, sit in the chair by Mom's bed and count cash. Mom said unless you paid this young lady extra, you would not get a regular shower. Same with the laundry service. This is extortion. Mom shared the reason why she declined going to the ER is the Orchard Parks staff tried to load her into a transport vehicle with a woman who was uncontrollably vomiting. Mom was afraid to be exposed to that and rightfully so because Orchard Parks at Southfork at that time was under lockdown due to a viral outbreak which sounds like Norovirus (residents and staff are vomiting and have diarrhea). This is dangerous for seniors especially. Because we felt it was not safe for the above reasons for Mom to return to Orchard Parks after her ER visit, we brought her home. Because there was a viral outbreak at the facility, we did not want to bring her things at that time into our home right before Christmas. We spent our Christmas holiday running around buying all new things for Mom to get her set up. We're exhausted. What should have been a joyous holiday for our family, including Mom, was simply a nightmare. To add insult to literal injury, I told them in writing not to vaccinate Mom, that I would take her to CVS myself for her vaccinations. They went ahead and vaccinated her and we got a bill from insurance because they won't pay for double vaccinations. The Director, Coco, was supposed to get back to me about this error but never did. I feel the facility should pay for this since it was their error -- not to mention our concerns about Mom getting OVER-vaccinated.

The visit was all well until I took the medication. With her being a doctor she should have been more alert that I was a young adult and couldn't take a high dose of medicine. She gave me 500mg of Flagyl and I took that as the directions told me too. That medicine gave me the worst allergic reaction. All of the side effects that is under that medication I went through. When my mental state changed I called her office to let her know that I was having complications with the medicine and she put in a lower dosage to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy and then was told that the medicine was never called in by the doctor. The doctor was careless and pregnant. She should have been more aware because after all that I had went through I had to be rushed to the emergency room and stayed there for 6 days. Then after that I still couldn't get my mind back to normal. I had to be rushed to another hospital and stayed there for 15 days. Horrible. I will never come here again, I will just have to find me another and BETTER DOCTOR! After all the hospital visits, I had to drop all my classes from college and quit my job. She nearly killed me and with that medicine. But thank God, I pulled through! Beware of this doctor, or enter at your own risk! I am a living testimony! Ugh, finding a new OB-GYN -- probably one of the most underrated female fears of moving. Having visited Houston Women's Care Associates in the Med Center for my well-woman exam last year, I was pleased to find out that The Woman's Place here in Pearland was one of their partnering offices. Scheduling an appointment was easy: the receptionist returned my call promptly, she was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, and I was able to schedule an appointment two days later w/ Dr. Morgan. Their office is located in a small plaza on Broadway/518 near 288, devoid of insane traffic or parking fees like their main office in the Med Center. If you're a new patient, arrive early because of paperwork... paperwork that contains basically the same information you provide to the receptionist when setting up your appointment. Weird. The office is nice and cozy; big waiting area and such. However, after being spoiled at the main location, where the examination rooms have plush pillows, chairs, changing curtains, and other little goodies, the rooms here are more... traditional. Nothing fancy. Nothing extra. Dr. Morgan is very sweet and has great bedside manner, but my visit felt very quick. Again, perhaps I'm spoiled by my experience @ the HQ, where my OB-GYN took the time to talk to me in her office before bringing me to an exam room and getting down to business. I have no major qualms about The Woman's Place -- I mean, Dr. Morgan told me right away that everything felt normal, and I got my BC refilled -- but it was definitely one of my more impersonal visits.

I called this clinic and they said they could do his vaccine. I arrived for his appointment and the staff was all very nice and friendly and everything looked very clean. We were moved next door to another waiting room and they asked to see his vaccine card which I provided. They asked me why I was getting a third dose and I said because the Pfizer vaccine for infants is 3 doses. She asked me but who told you that you needed a third dose. I was kind of stumped and responded Pfizer and tx childrens told me...... She said I'll be right back and left with my son's vaccine card. At this point I am extremely unconfutable with having my son vaccinated here as they clearly do not even know the vaccine schedule. If she had not have taken the vaccine card I would have just left. So I waited a bit then she came back and said they don't have the pfizer infant dose. I said I was told that y'all did when I called and scheduled a couple of days ago. She apologized and said that they do not have it. So the whole thing wound up being a waste of time. So while everyone was very nice, there is some communication issues with their scheduling staff as well as some education issues. If they are administering vaccines, they should at least be aware of the vaccine schedule. I did really like that this clinic is smaller and it felt like you got more individualized attention versus other pediatric clinics that always seem overcrowded.
