I am a satisfied customer! Dong has quoted a fair price upon inquiry. The work is neat and for the kitchen light work, he admitted this is his first time installing this type of light, which turned out looking great. For the record, all the lights installed were opening new electricity line. So it made them making a hole to get electrical line. Super recommended!
Made an appointment for today at first it was 10am and the he wanted to switch it to 11am (which was fine). When I txt him to see what was going on as far as showing up at the scheduled time. I did not receive a call or txt back. Update: Richard came by and installed the ceiling fans later than what was told between 2 and 3pm. He seemed nice and did an amazing job. Thanks Richard!
Innovation Electric is AMAZING!! They came out today to my home in Murrieta. Mr. Dong Le was so friendly, honest, and on time. His assistant was punctual and sweet too. They gave us a very fair estimate, and he recommended which Tesla charger to buy for our model 3. They did the install job quickly and efficiently. No mess left. They accept cash or Zelle for payment. I will never use anyone else. I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends. If you are looking for a low cost solution to installing a Tesla charger this is your guy! Well done. Happy camper!! He beat the competition by literally thousands of dollars.
Absolutely terrible. Screen shots attached. Total waste of time and NOT worth contracting because you'll just have to worry up until the very day if Dong, or any employee of his that is supposed to show for your electrical work, WILL EVEN SHOW UP. Based on my experience, they probably will not and Dong will cancel. It is nice that at least he will text you super late the night before to let you know they have to postpone or, second time around, they have to cancel fully. He misread Yucca Valley for Jurupa Valley even after my very first message to him was "Hey Dong, I have a property in Yucca Valley, will you be in that area?" *note that his business came up when I was searching for electricians in the area*. I also let sent him my address the day before to confirm everything was good (see screen shots). Overall, just a really piss poor job of paying attention to details. This is just an assumption but if they their work is anything like my conversation with them, I'd run fast. *some texts hidden for privacy purposes:
Second time I've had Dong do work at my house. He gives honest competitive prices. His work is clean, thorough and always comes with good customer service and getting the job done as estimated. I've had him fix a Tesla charger outlet that another electrician did a bad job on, which was popping the breaker. Almost a year later I called Dong to install my wired security cameras and i couldn't be happier with the work. Thank you Innivated Electric. You're my go to electrician in the IE now.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Dong for the installation of a 14-50 NEMA outlet in my home, and I cannot express how satisfied I am with the entire experience. I heard a "pop" when I turned off my ceiling light/fan from the light switch. Went to the circuit breaker and the switch for the light/fan and other areas was tripped off. After circuit breaker switch was turned back on, all other areas were turned back on except light/fan. I don't have the knowledge or expertise to troubleshoot it myself, so I thought I'd reach out to a professional. Innovation Electric is as professional as they get. Dong stopped by and was able to determine that my wires were still good, but my appliance was shot. Since my fan was purchased less than a year ago, he suggested to check with the manufacturer since it's still under warranty. The manufacturer was able to honor the warranty and I was able to exchange it for a replacement ceiling fan. I was able to schedule with Dong a week later. He arrived with Richard this time and they were able to get my new fan up in thirty minutes. Not only are Dong and Richard professional, but also very personable. I plan to contact them again in the future for any electrical needs. read more

My boyfriend hired a handyman to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom, the guy didn't know what he was doing to left everything a mess. I hired Dong to help fix what this other guy did and run power the fan. Dong was amazing and fixed everything, he also replaced some of my outlets that were old and loose. Dong cleaned everything up after, it was like he wasn't even there. I was so happy with the results, we will definitely be hiring him again for an electrical needs. read more

If you're looking to have your flood light placed by your driveway and you don't have wiring installed, read on: Dong gave me a price that was reasonable compared to other electricians in the IE. Price included labor and materials needed. Dong and his assistant completed the job in an hour, versus other electricians who said it'll take about 4-5 hours. And what the other yelpers are saying about his responsiveness, professionalism, neatness.. yup yup he responded right away, didn't have to make me wait , flexible, I didn't have to bust out my broom-- all correct. Now I don't know nothing, absolutely nothing about wires , lights et. al. I just want my floodlight installed properly in a way that the surrounding stucco won't be affected and wiring placed correctly. Dong and his assistant pretty much made that happen. Great services all around!!! We had our installs for the Tesla wall connector and an additional 14-50 NEMA outlet. The final product looks great (see photo). Dong was great at communication before and during install. I do not doubt that he will provide great post-install service too. Additionally, he made many sage recommendations on the placement of the chargers. We can tell that he is passionate about his job and willing to go to lengths to serve his customers. I requested to have one outlet repaired outside, one moved up on the wall inside the house and one installed in my garage. Dong's Quality of work was excellent cleaned up after himself. did it in a timely manner. read more

Dong and assistant (sorry, the name escapes me) were very diligent about installing a new outlet for a garage fridge. They ran the metal conduit from the service panel in a very clean fashion, even working around the overhead storage rack that was installed. I really should have removed that rack to make things easier but that's on me. I may have it re-done later. I had a plumber in the garage as well but neither one were in each other's way. The new outlet works great and the installation is very clean, just like the rest of the work I've seen from Innovation Electric. Dong and associate were respectful, organized, neat, and polite. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them heartily! read more

Absolutely top notch electrician. I requested quotes via Yelp for installation of my Tesla Wall Connector. He responded quickly and needed only minimal information and photos of the breaker box and inside wall. He was at my home the next day and installed the charger in 30 mins. Price was very reasonable compared to 6 other estimates. Dong was friendly, polite, informative, and efficient. I will be calling them for all future electrical services. Purchased our first EV and so I needed to get a NEMA 14-50 socket installed in our garage. We are utilizing one of our garage spaces as a studio/creative space so they had to run pipe from our breaker to the area we wanted the socket. They were super professional, came right on time and complete the job in the quoted time frame. The install is very clean and I'm extremely pleased. Probably will get other work done by then and definitely recommend for any electrical projects in or around your home. read more

Used their services to install 240v and additional 110 in garage to charge our PHEV and they did a great job. Call them. Purchased a plug-in hybrid and excitedly brought it home to only find it doesn't charge properly. Intended to install a 240v wall outlet for level 2 charging anyways but the need to call an electrician became even more urgent since I needed help isolating the issue. Was it the outlet in my garage? Was it the charger? Was it...gulp, the new car? Frantically used Yelp to send out several auto generated quote requests and Dong (the proprietor) responded. 1st contact with him this past Saturday, set the appointment for today and the job went super well. Dong and his guy Richard installed both outlets within an hour. And it was finally ready to test... Plugged in the manufacturers provided charger into the newly created 110 outlet and bam, the car is perfectly charging (it was the wall outlet, the charger and car were fine). Quick, professional, and reasonably priced. Will be calling him for additional work around the house soon. read more

I called Dong thanks to his stellar Yelp reviews (thank you Yelp!). He and his helper Richard arrived with masks on their faces and got right to work. I needed a GFCI outlet installed in one of our bedrooms to replace a 2-prong outlet. They did a meticulous job of it and ensured the outlet was properly grounded. Then they moved into my hall bathroom where I needed a GFCI outlet installed behind the toilet for an accessory upgrade. My bathrooms have tile halfway up the walls and my husband was worried about tile repairs. Dong said he could put the outlet onto the drywall above the tile and the toilet, but that was not esthetically pleasing to me. My husband also asked if the bathroom outlet could connect through the shared wall of the kitchen and into an outlet or make a connection into the lower kitchen cabinet. They ended up connecting through the wall into an existing kitchen outlet. Richard did the work and Dong laid out the plans. They did a beautiful job without making any extra holes in any of the walls or any damage to the tile work. They are reasonably priced and we will call them for any future electrical needs! read more

I had sent a quote to install an outdoor flood light and I received many responses. Dong immediately had the right questions to ask and quickly understood the installation project. So I proceeded to confirm an appointment for the next day. On the day of the appointment he texted me and offered to come 30 minutes earlier. I informed him it was ok. Richard showed up with all his tools and we went over the installation. He offered me options and re-confirmed what I wanted. It took about 21/2 hours to complete the job. They were very detail in their work. I can tell they take pride of what they do, and always want to do the right thing. Since, I did not want any metal tubing outside on the stucco wall, they opened two square holes on the drywall (inside the house) to run and hide the cables behind the wall. They needed to cut the drywall to help them drill a hole on the stud blocking the passage of the electrical cable. After they connected all the cables, the holes were patched and I just need to paint over the area. At the end of the day, the installation of the flood light is exactly what I wanted and they did it the right way. I will not hesitate to hire them for the next electrical project in my home. Richard and Dong are very professional, courteous and very experienced in their field. No need to look somewhere else. read more

Dong answered my request right away, I sent him a video of what I wanted and with that he gave me a estimate. Dong and his assistant came and started work, I'm very picky so I kept asking questions, because I like us to be on the same page. He was very attentive to my concerns... and figured out the best solution. The final project is exactly what I wanted.. When they were finished they cleaned up and put pavers around it. Excellent quality work, rapid response time, and extremely professional. I requested several quotes to install NEMA 14-50 to charge my Tesla Model Y faster than 5 mi/hr. Dong Le not only beat everyone else's prices but also did an amazing job. He made the installation for me on July 5th in one hour. I've used Dong for countless electrical repairs, projects and upgrades in my home in the past couple of years, but he has outdone himself again today. After understanding what I wanted, he gave me options based on my budget. Then he and his amazing assistant Richard installed these LED string lights over my pool, and made sure they were secure, with additional safety measures in place.
