We hired this company for a major landscaping and front patio project almost three years ago, and…read moreinitially we were very happy with the results. The work looked great, and the overall experience during the installation process was positive. Unfortunately, the front steps have now started falling apart, creating what we believe is a serious safety hazard. We contacted the company hoping they would stand behind the workmanship or at least help address the issue, but were told the work is outside of warranty and that we would need to pay for repairs ourselves. We understand warranties have limits, but we are disappointed that such significant deterioration happened in less than three years and that there was little willingness to help resolve it. Given the cost of the project, we expected the hardscaping to last much longer. I'm leaving this review because while the work looked excellent at first, long-term durability and post-project support matter just as much.

Fast forward about 6 weeks, they call me today, within 24 hours of when they were supposed to do the work telling me the owners are demanding I pay an extra $3,000 because they drove by and realized I "live on a busy street" and they will need to have flag men. Their estimator had been physically to my house and I spoke with him at length about the requirements before I paid the deposit. It wasn't even the owners who called me, they made the poor estimator, Gerry, who I let know how unimpressed I was with the company. Avoid.

The woman on the other end explained that most of the deliveries they did were for interlocking stone, and that it would probably be unreasonably pricey to have some flowers or a plant delivered. But wait: where did my mother live? And what exactly was I looking for? Long story short: an inexplicably kind woman named Sam, and her horticulturalist friend Sierra, Not only helped me figure out what I wanted (here I was the stereotypical clueless male), but also sussed out that Sam lived near my parents, and would be happy to take several plants home with her, and to deliver the goods the morning of my mother's birthday. If you can believe it, there's actually a good deal more to the feel good story, but suffice to say that Sam's kindness left my head spinning. My teenaged daughter overheard to a good bit of the conversation I had when making my order, and remarked: "Canadians are always so nice". Yeah, maybe, but still: that kind of spirit is hard to find.

Then I tried to buy some other plants that were all priced, got to the till and was told they were incorrectly priced and I would have to pay more. Do not go here unless you want to be annoyed.
