    My AC has been running almost non stop since Ralph came out

    I am out over $1,000, my AC has been running almost 20 HOURS A DAY during July because Ralph didn't know how to fix my AC. My AC (Less than 10 years old) was having a hard time cooling so I called Innovative Air. They said that a pipe had a leak and the refrigerant was gone. So they charged me over $1,000 to fix the leak and refill the refrigerant. After, they left I noticed it was not cooling very well again. After a few days Ralph came back out and noticed they did not fix the leak all the way and the refrigerant leaked out again. So he said he fixed it and supposedly refilled the refrigerant. But it still was not cooling! After a week of me trying to get Ralph to come back out he finally found time in his schedule to come back. He said the refrigerant was low again and supposedly he put more in. It has been almost a month since they originally came out and the system is STILL NOT COOLING! My unit has been running almost 20 HOURS A DAY because he didn't know how to fix it!!! We are dying in the heat so we received a second opinion. The new company said it is an obvious problem of not having enough refrigerant. So I called Ralph. He was EXTREMELY rude and told me he would not warranty the work, the other company didn't know what they were talking about and that I would need to pay the other company for the refrigerant that he should have put it. Ralph has been out 3 times and still hasn't fixed my system. At one point he even told me that he couldn't find the issue and suggested that I just buy a whole new AC unit!! ONLY USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY MONEY. The photos are a few days of my nest AC history and the pipe that was leaking after he "fixed" it. **Update from Ralph's reply** You are right I am not out $1,000 it was actually $1,200. You said that I lied about something, can you please explain that? It is pretty simple...you charged me $1,200 to fix the AC. After 3 visits, it is still not working! Seems like your integrity should be the one in question here. You claimed the person I got a second opinion from is wrong...so I sent the readings over to another AC company and asked if anything jumped out at them...the tech said, "those readings would indicate a low refrigerant charge" So now my 2nd and 3rd opinions are saying you didn't fill it right...do you want me to get more opinions? How many will it take to have you come back and do the job the right way?

    Innovative air was a contractor from my home insurance company. My heater went out. they recommended parts be ordered and a technician came out to replace my compressor/condenser unit. The technician got half through installation and realized the part was wrong. They stated they order correct part and would be back next day. No show, I had to call. They said they would be out next on following Monday, no show. I tried calling and had no answer since Anastasia blocked my number. So I called from another number and Anastasia stated my insurance company took them off the job. I call my insurance company and was advised that Innovative was the one that canceled stating they had no resources to complete the job. Left message for owner or manager, no call back. They left me with no heater and no answer during the coldest weeks in Arizona. I had to get other accommodations for my family since it was to cold and a space heater was not suffice. After several companies came out and would not do the work since it was not their policy to finish other companies mistakes I finally got a contractor to help and they were great. Sun State Refrigeration. They looked at Job, Ordered the correct part the first time, kept their appointments, called and texted with updates and did the work in a timely manner. Also they did a follow up visit to make sure every thing was working correctly. I would give no stars if it was an option.

    Would give them 20 stars if I could. Tried installing the Nest Thermostat myself (I'm usually pretty handy around the house) however apparently there is a fuse which is very finicky and ended up blowing out on me leaving me with no AC for a night. Called Innovative Air around midnight, they text me through the problem and came out first thing in the morning. Now my "smart house" is all set up and couldn't be happier.

    This is my conversation with them, stating when they would be by, and the time showing when they actually contacted me.

    I bought a Nest to upgrade my thermostat. I tried to but couldn't install it. After some research and shopping around, I decided to go with Innovative Air, as they were also deemed a "Nest Pro". I scheduled a service call, they said Saturday between 2-3pm. I planned my day accordingly. I went to the gym and they text at 11:50am to tell me they were on their way. I didn't have my phone on me and when I called back an hour later, they said Ralph had already been to my house and we could reschedule because "it would be extremely difficult to come back out to your area today." You know, somewhere around 2-3 like I was originally told. So I cancelled the service call all together without so much the slightest effort to keep the sale or customer.

    Things went well. When he showed up I had 2 Nest thermostats they didn't work right. When he left they both worked great.

When I scheduled a service appointment, I was told there would be a two-month wait because they were backed up. I accepted that and waited. On the afternoon before the morning of my appointment, they called to cancel -- not to reschedule promptly, but to push me out another full month. No apology that meant anything until I confronted Deb. Her apology also meant nothing and I only got it after I confronted her with the poor treatment she gave me. And still no commitment to get anybody out any sooner than waiting another month. Just a well, I'll try but I can't promise you anything. No effort to prioritize a loyal customer with a significant investment. Just another delay with no end in sight. This is the kind of company that will take your money on the front end and leave you hanging on the back end. Loyal customers are not a priority here -- you are just a number in a queue. If you have a high-value system that depends on reliable maintenance, do yourself a favor and find a provider that will actually show up when they say they will. I understand when this was under old management, before the new owner took over, it was a well run company. But not now. Added: know I asked them to service my unit for two months of which they could not make time to do so. When I finally did get an appointment, they canceled it and told me it was going to be another month which would total three months of their failure to service the expensive equipment that I received from them.

Greg, my technician, installed the unit (he even remembers the day because it was pouring rain, yet they did it anyways because it was the middle of winter and my house was absolutely freezing), and every year since, Greg has come out to service the unit, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. The unit was reasonably priced and has performed wonderfully, even during the hottest months in Phoenix. As far as the office team goes, the customer service has always been prompt, courteous, and the team seems thorough in their work. They are honest and transparent, which is something I highly value. Scheduling my annual inspection is always easy, and they offer a maintenance plan that is affordable and convenient. I look forward to partnering with Kilter Mechanical for as long as I own an HVAC system in Phoenix.     In August 2025, my husband and I called The Trusted Tech when our HVAC unit's primary drain pipe…read morewas clogged, forcing rusty water through the secondary. The owner, Lucas, arrived and we could tell he was a good guy, our dog absolutely loved him too! Unlike previous technicians, Lucas inspected the unit thoroughly in the attic and invited my husband up to show him the issue: badly rusted coils that needed eventual replacement. Also a confirmed refrigerant leak that we had mentioned to him causing problems for us the past couple of years. He patiently answered all of our questions, explained costs clearly, and never pressured us into buying a new system. Since we weren't ready for major work, he cleaned both pipes and we told him we would be contacting him for anything HVAC related moving forward. By December, the refrigerant leak caused our heat to fail. Having discussed it since his last visit, my husband and I decided to replace our 15-year-old unit rather than patch ongoing problems. We chose one of Lucas's recommended systems, and he and his team installed it in two days (finishing on New Year's Eve!). They protected our floors with tarps, worked diligently for hours, and Lucas took time to explain every step and answer any questions. We're so grateful to have reliable heat again and look forward to having cool summers without worrying about the unit. Lucas's professionalism, expertise, honesty, and strong work ethic made the entire experience outstanding.
