I called eight people and only five showed up. I really liked how Clayton helped me decide how to configure our kitchen. I wasn't really sure how. We also decided to have our bathroom remodeled. This whole crew was so amazing. We were still living in our house during the renovation and every time they left it was as if they had never been there meaning it was so clean. They had to demo the whole kitchen and when they left, there was no evidence of debris. Our kitchen turned out amazing, and the bathroom was exquisite. Our condo has some pretty strict requirements such as putting them under Hy's insurance policy and getting everything approved. Josh helped us with the process, and got our condo on their policy quickly. After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. It turned out even better than I expected honestly! Afterwards I remember looking up at our ceiling and feeling grateful of how smooth and well done it is and the vinyl planks were done beautifully. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free! I honestly am so grateful for him, he's such a nice guy. They got everything done in timely manner too! Since we were trying to move in ASAP, as my son was gona be born in 2 months. We love how updated our place looks now compared to before and I'm so grateful to HY Construction and their quality work! Few months later our garbage disposal went out, and it wasn't an easy plug-in one to reinstall. They did that for us at a very reasonable price as well. He was very knowledgable and seemed to be a straight shooter (I wanted some storage over the toilet and he straight up told me that would be weird because it would block the bathroom window). After listening to what we were thinking, he came up with a plan and gave us an estimate. We didn't get any renderings (not sure if bathroom renovations get those?) but we knew he knew what he was doing, so it wasn't really an issue - Mom and I were trusting he and his team's professionalism and it worked! Did we have any idea of the cost of a bathroom renovation? No. Was it more than I imagined it to be? Honestly, yes. But after the job was done, did I think it was worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES.
