Although my kitchen remodel isn't quite complete, what Matt was able to do to transform my kitchen from an idea to a room I just love to work in to is phenomenal. I gave him a rough idea of what I was thinking and he worked magic to give me cabinets I absolutely love (blue lowers, white uppers). I have a pull-out garbage & recycling bin, a corner lazy susan, pull-outs in other cabinets, under-cabinet lighting (everyone is jealous of this!!), beautiful granite countertops. The tile backsplash is perfect ... so professional! He never flinched when I changed my mind about what I wanted. The bulk of the job was started and finished within 2 weeks. I'm still waiting for my custom pantry door (will follow up on that once installed), and a few minor odds and ends. My one and only issue with them is the lack of communication. I've been around the block a few times, and know that this is typical in the industry. I like to feel like I don't need my hand held, and that I am not expecting my contractor to reach out to me all the time. Having said that, I feel like I did have to chase after him a bit to get stuff done. Maybe it's because I didn't pursue a tighter deadline that it was easy to push my remodel back now and again. I will say however that I felt VERY comfortable with Matt and all the workers brought into my home, and that counts very large in my book. Can I recommend? Absolutely!! Will I use them again? I hope to ... I have 2 bathrooms that desperately need to be brought out of the 80's. I just hope that the scope of the project won't be too small for Holly Home Improvement to handle.
