She is great! Her energy is calm and a bit introverted which is great for me because I am the opposite. Since 2019, I have seen about 4 different dermatologists, and she has been the only one to give me advice that works on my KP. Also, she has a good hand with administering steroid shots which is great if like me, you have a fear of needles. I will definitely be making this office my permanent dermatology office. The dermatology office is clean and well organized. The staff is helpful and move the patients in rather quickly without feeling rushed. I recommend this Dermatology office.

One thing I am looking for In doctor is someone who speaks perfect English and will not do any business with people who don't speak English. Dr Avey's office got both of us in for appointments with in a week and we both immediately liked Dr Avey. His staff from Tracy out front to Pat in the back have always treated us with nothing but kindness & professionalism. Several months back we switched insurance company's and Dr Avey's office is not on the new Co's list. We decided to stay with him and have to deal with a little extra paperwork on our end which the doctors office handles for us. The real clincher was several months back when my wife had to have her annual pap smear. She came home and said she had never been treated so gently during a pap smear in her life. Kind, gentle and caring & English speaking is Dr James Avey. We highly recommend him!
