(All while assessing me and the situation.) She made sure I was okay before we separated and let me know she was just a door away if I needed to step out again. I'm just so grateful for all of the help and kindness. Swish is definitely in the right field of work. Those are the kind of people you need in healthcare. Thank you Swish!!

I completed CPR training in February 2026 in Colorado and initially, the process itself was smooth…read more I can certainly acknowledge that. However, there were significant issues with the training setup that ultimately led to an injury. Due to the room configuration, I was unable to properly reach the mannequins and had to perform CPR on my tiptoes. The table was not adjustable, and no stool or accommodation was available. As a result of these poor ergonomics and lack of proper setup, I sustained a neck and trapezius injury mid-cycle. Ended up having to literally crawl on to the table . At the time, I reached out simply to provide feedback in hopes of preventing a similar experience for others especially individuals under 5 feet tall. The initial response I received was apologetic, and I appreciated that. However, after enduring five weeks of significant pain, I followed up to ask about the appropriate process before seeking medical care, as providers often ask for details about how an injury occurred. Unfortunately, the response I received at that point was defensive and dismissive, referencing a signed waiver rather than addressing the concern. The response was unfortunate. I fully understand that CPR training can be physically demanding. However, participants should be provided with a safe and properly adjusted environment to perform these skills. In this case, the setup did not allow for that and contributed directly to my injury. As a side note, I happened to have the session recorded (originally intended for social media), and it clearly shows the moment the injury occurred. Overall, I'm very disappointed in both the lack of appropriate setup and the company's response. I am still dealing with daily neck pain without resolution.

When I first took my Nclex, I was overconfident and failed at 145 (maximum). I was devastated and contacted AHE a few days after seeing the F result; it was the best decision I ever made! Mr. Don not only taught the class how to better understand nursing concepts, but he also shared personal experiences, exam strategies, words of wisdom, and was constantly reminding us to be humble no matter where our license took us. I'm looking forward to his class meeting and wish it was like all of my nursing classes. He's very entertaining, full of energy, and always has a good joke to tell. I believe the stories he shared distinguished the class from others at the comprehensive review center. "Son of a gun!" was his favorite phrase. Which is what I was saying to myself during the exam when I came across a difficult question ahahaha. One of the pieces of advice he gave us on our last day of class was to use our common sense if we didn't know the answer. That, as well as everything else he taught in class, I put into practice. Ms. Mary was also attentive to all of my questions, and they treat us as if we were family. They told us about their wonderful children. Mr. Don and Ms. Mary are enthusiastic about their work. I believe that Mr. or Sir Don's class assisted me in passing the second time around and stopping at 75 this time! Most of my colleagues who passed the Nclex left the center doubting whether they passed, whereas I left the Nclex center confident that I passed! That demonstrates that I am preferred. You will pass if you follow his class process, listen carefully to his lectures, and believe in yourself that he will prepare you for the Nclex. I strongly recommend AHE Review Center; it is well worth the money!

I've renewed my BLS many times with other companies, but this guy really teaches to save lives. The only issue I have is that I asked for CEU's and was never given them. Super important if you need them for a job. They never got back to me after I asked if I could get them. I also got an email stating that I'd probably pay more money, when on the website, it states they give CEU's when taking this class. Overall, class was great with a great instructor. Just a little disorganize when it comes to the CEU's. Hopefully no one has to deal with this when they need the CEU's.

Right off the bat, you can tell he was going to be a cool and laid back teacher. Curtis is a professional and was professional in this course. He made sure that before we moved on, that we were confident in what we just learned. Any questions we had, he took his time on answering it. We never felt rushed. Curtis also had a great sense of humor because I was struggling on tying a certain knot. I didn't know the class was watching me struggle. As I tried my hardest to mimic Curtis' knot, Curtis jokingly said, "I'll be grading you on your knot." I would have failed. Great course! Highly recommend!

Not only did I learn more in this training, but it was more enjoyable and a better use of my time (didn't drag on). The best part was that this was a hybrid course and I completed the majority of it online first - it is official Red Cross online training (you can even go back and access it later if you want as a refresher). The amazing part about it being online was the online training was very informative - it was very simulation based (like a video game) where you had to assess the situation and make different choices. I learned more this way than I ever did before because it was actually practical knowledge that I got to apply. Then by the time I attended in person we went over everything we learned online using the in person training aids (mannequins, AEDs, first aid bandages/wraps, etc.) and that was such a great reinforcement of what I learned online that this time the knowledge really sunk into my brain and I feel more confident knowing the skills than I ever have before. Also, in person the trainer, Brenden, was very entertaining and such a wealth of information. In addition to the training, he shared with us real life examples and stories to add to our knowledge which was very helpful. Because it is Covid, we wore our masks the entire time, sat 6 feet apart and had our own materials to work with (we didn't share and we didn't work with a partner). I felt super safe and I learned a lot! I highly recommend Key CPR to everyone! It is sooooo much better than other programs I learned in the past!

I was there with one other person for the class. I had a great experience and I feel confident with the instruction I received. The training was concise (more than 2 hours I didn't really keep track of time), a lot shorter than what I heard about CPR classes (5 hours). We also connected on a deeper level because we shared stories about our medical past. We are all survivors of something. The class was started on time because she wanted to respect our effort of showing up on time on a Sunday. Much appreciated. Side note to you know who you are: Don't go complaining to the receptionist who pics up the phone that you arrived at 9:50 am for the 10 o' clock class and the place was locked and no one let you in. Yes it was locked but I was sitting outside on the bench and walked towards the building at 9:48, I was talking to another attendee for at least 5 min before we were let in. We didn't even start until 10:05 because Kristine was waiting for any "stragglers." You were not there at 9:50, unless you have the invisibility cloak and decided not to step in when the door was opened. Don't lie, own up to your .... No one respects people like you. Location was a little confusing (took class same day as review), however it does have a GIANT 1524 on it so you can't miss that. It is the Spectrum building with the Dental Laboratories on the front. And NO the reception desk is not associated with Safety First CPR. Unless you're the scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, who doesn't have a brain, you can figure out that the building does not belong to them and they lease a room. I was texted the address by the receptionist and didn't receive any other correspondence. I was supposed to receive an invoice and notification but that never happened. So I decided what the heck and showed up anyways. Worked out in the end. (-1 star for the receptionist)
