I arrived about 15 minutes before 9 and discovered that the class did not start until 9:30. The class was supposed to go until 3, according to the website, but the lunch break had been cut out so it could end at 2:30. I was not informed of this until the class began. Given that the instructor had my email I feel that he should have respected my time and informed me of the scheduling changes ahead of time.

The intensive weekend course was incredibly informative, from lectures to hands-on practice. The center itself is state of the art, with wet tables equipped with lighting, tools, and piezo scalers for each student. There are also 4 wall-mounted radiograph stations and 2 handheld machine stations. Dr. Luskin is a master at teaching as well as animal dentistry. My colleagues at the weekend course were mostly techs with dentistry experience, but I still was able to keep up and learn thanks to Dr. Luskin's lecturing style and materials. Veterinarians doing their dental residencies with Dr. Luskin assisted during the hands-on sessions. One of my colleagues had extensive experience and told me that she learned new techniques and approaches as well. The course went beyond my expectations. If you get a chance to attend either a tech or a veterinarian course, DO IT!
