This clinic has become completely business-driven and indifferent to long-time patients. When a prescribed medication is unavailable, they repeatedly refuse to issue an appropriate substitute--leaving patients suddenly without essential treatment or pain control. The manager and surgery coordinator always talk down to patients too. Urgent return appointments are very hard to schedule due to overcrowding and too few providers, regardless of how severe a patient's pain or limitations may be. This practice was excellent for many years under Dr. Weiner, but since Dr. Chakravarthy took over, the care and compassion are gone. The new management clearly prioritizes profit over patients. The doctor had an apartment co partner from Australia facilitating this stem cell back study and she was screaming on the phone that she flew 17000 miles from Australia and the doctor said Mespblast spends $30k/patient and patients are their priority. Dr. Weiner changed his mind about doing a surgery on my son without telling us. by the time we found out about him dumping my son, the time was ticking down on how much longer my son has. With only lip service from his office, we crave not been able to find another doctor on short notice. dr. As I have mentioned in previous Yelp reviews each person has their own experiences either good or bad, with that said I was referred to Innovative Pain through my primary doctor. I honestly was skeptical based on the reviews on Yelp but I'm here to tell you that the staff & Dr. Weiner were fantastic! I had my pre visit with Connie who was very nice and we had a great conversation. She was very thorough. I then met Dr. Weiner who had a terrific bedside manner and again had a great conversation. He had a plan to help me with my back pain that I have been dealing with for over 2 years. My experience was great and I look forward to my next visit. I have been a patient of Dr. Weiner since around 2015, and during that time, I have had at least three radio frequency ablations done. When I returned to the office for another radiofrequency ablation this past October, the intake technician interviewed me and asked several questions about my previous procedures. Although I had always had the procedure done in my lower left back, she concluded that I needed it done elsewhere. She recommended a different location based on her assessment of my symptoms. However, following that appointment, I had an MRI and a follow-up appointment with Dr. Weiner. During the follow-up appointment, the doctor thoroughly neglected to review my medical history while addressing my MRI results. He concluded that I needed another radio frequency procedure on my lower left back, which is the area where I had always received the procedure in the past. Unfortunately, one of the office personnel was supposed to correct the mistake made by the intake technician and get approval for the radio frequency for the lower left back from the insurance company, but this did not happen. On the day of the procedure, they had orders to do a diagnostic nerve block on the right lower back to locate the target nerve, even though all previous radiofrequency ablations were completed on my lower left back. Based on the information provided by my insurance, the diagnostic nerve block was unnecessary since the previous radio frequency was performed within a three-year window. Additionally, the physician could perform the procedure according to the parameters of the previous procedure. However, Dr. Weiner neglected to consider these factors and made several mistakes. Firstly, he failed to acknowledge the incompetence of the intake technician. Secondly, he missed his previous notes on procedures in his and another doctor's Scottsdale office in December of 2021. These errors represent negligence on multiple levels. During the day of my procedure, the nurse preparing my IV shared her concern about the frequent miscommunications between the office personnel, doctors, and nurses in the facility. She mentioned the cancellations of procedures she had witnessed due to these miscommunications. This led me to believe that the lack of effective communication has been a significant issue in the facility, potentially putting patients' lives at risk. The nurse elaborated that the layers of incompetence from the office personnel to the owner, CEO, and doctor in charge have been the root cause of these miscommunications. This has resulted in multiple incidents of misdiagnosis, which could have led unsuspecting patients to undergo unnecessary and dangerous procedures. Such incidents raise serious concerns regarding the quality of healthcare services delivered by the facility. Considering the gravity of the situation, the medical agency that oversees pain management doctors should take strict action against Dr. Weiner, who is in charge of the facility. His negligence in ensuring effective communication among staff members has created a dangerous patient environment. Therefore, he must be disbarred to prevent further harm to the community he is supposed to serve. I firmly believe that Dr. Weiner should be held accountable by the medical agency overseeing pain management doctors. Healthcare providers must maintain the highest standards of care to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients. Therefore, I urge the medical board to take these matters seriously and investigate Dr. Weiner's and his staff's conduct. Never go here alone or see any Doctor or PA without a person always at your side. A parent, spouse or family member you trust should be present always. Management here is not your friend. If you see her, (or whom ever has that job now) never do so alone. They over tested. Make sure you are aware what your insurance considers prudent. Talk with your insurance company right away if you feel they are over testing. Don't fall for the "oh if your insurance won't pay, you'd don't owe anything, don't worry". Read the testing companies policy. (I was left having to pay over 2K worth of bills (2 different companies) don't ask...that took a long time to clear up and left my credit suffering) I cannot stress this enough, document and even if you call anyone... especially billing, have another person on the call with you. When delivering paperwork, have a person with you, have a record of what was received. ( you can have them sign a list of documents you gave them) if they don't, read the title of each document handed to the biller as you hand them over. Even though I liked the doctor, I don't feel he was unaware! Enough said... Maybe they have cleaned up the billing, but I sure don't have confidence in this practice. read more

I can't speak to the qualifications of Dr. J, but the office staff is an absolute joke. There were a myriad of patients waiting to be seen and each was met with confusion from reception. Despite confirming my appointment with Myra, twice, they had no record of me. They did agree to see me after making me wait while they "figured it out", but told me it would be "quite some time." Overall very disorganized and absolutely no regard for patient care. Multiple people left during my short stay, simply preferring to deal with pain rather than their incompetent office. read more

I am writing this as a advocate for a Veteran who was sent her by the military Dr. After a series of injections My Strong never complain Marine keep saying how his neck was hurting and he was in pain to say he was in pain. I immediately called the company above to see if this was normal or what I need to do to help him be at ease. He was in sever pain. This is how they treat their Veterans: Phone call. How May we help you. Told story about injections and possible side effects that may be happening Girl on the phone I'll transfer you to the nurse 8min on hold, no one ever picked up. (So no compassion for a Veteran that you did injections on and may be experiencing a medical emergency. The Veteran called back 10Min on hold no nurse still. Call back as for a manger, now the nurse comes to the phone wanting to help. Should t have to ask for a supervisor to get compassion Supervisor comes to the phone. Here is the horrific example the supervisor is setting. I ask her name, she would t give it. Refused to give me her name and when I asked one more time for her name, she basically disconnected the call because she didn't want to give her name for the complaint. We had to drive from Camp Pendleton to Temecula with a lifer Marine in pain because the women in that office have no compassion and cover for each other. I would never trust a company that ignores patients and is rude and have no respect for their clients. read more

This facility is non compliant with Federal Medical and Consumer Boards. They need a visit from the state and DEA. The office should be seriously monitored for HIPPA Violations and has concerning issues with patient care neglect and patient medication abandonment. Patients are not monitored adequately, meaning no weight, basic vital signs taken at every visit, none taken for me in the 4 years I was a patient. The office manager Ms Barret is verbally abusive and threatening when she speaks to patients myself included. She is degrading and belittling. She gets a power trip on this and enjoys making others feel lesser than. I am VERY disappointed with the entire team for not being an advocate for me, I have been a patient of over four years and have a very friendly patient to office staff relationship. It seemed like everyone in the office was fearful of Ms Barret. The parting of my care with this office was due to the Medical Assistant Connie. She repeatedly was verbally abusive to me when on the telephone. However In person she behaved civilized. A real life horrifying Jekyll and Hyde. She has such control over Doctor Weiner and Tom the PA with her advanced manipulation. While I'm in the office during a visit, Connie speaks Spanish to her fellow coworkers saying inappropriate things in Spanish however I understand because I speak Spanish. Connie also does this in reference to patients. Connie deliberately did not call my pharmacy to have my medication pre-authorized from my physician office for over 4 months. I had to pay CASH for the medication each month. When I attempted to bring it up, the office manager discharged me from the care of the practice. I was a patient of Dr. J's for the last 3 to 4 years. I have been very happy with the care I received from Dr. J. She started to take care of me after my final surgery in 2016. She always made sure to check if I needed more than just medication, ensuring that I got trigger point injections, or other injections that would help lower my pain levels. Once my pain levels started to stabilize, then lessen, Dr. J worked with me on weaning off of my medication a little every month. As of 9/9/19, I have been opiate free. Right now that is just a bit over 2 weeks. I had been on opiates for pain since 2003, which is 16 years, so I was more than scared to deal with withdrawals. Working with Dr. J. I felt safe and comfortable with our plan, so when she left the Enterprise Circle office, it was critical I find her to finish off my last 2 months of treatment with her. She works with Dr. Arul Doraiswamy in Temecula on Fridays, so I finished my treatment with her, and successfully graduated from needing pain management services. Thanks Dr. J!!! Last, I do have to confirm some of the other reviews here, hence the 4 stars. During my last 8 months or so with this office, I stopped getting calls confirming my appointments for the next day, I knew my number had been put into the new system wrong (when we all had to update info), which I corrected with the staff, and I assume it never was fixed. I went to get an epidural here after being send by the VA hospital. I have been treated by both Dr. Weiner and Dr. J. I have had about 5 epidural and 2 facet injections which the last one worked really nice. Dr. J was really helpful in explaining to me the situation on my back since I damaged it while serving in the military. I feel that they really take their time to explain everything and after going to so many doctors I have to say they are the ones who really take their time to help me. If you have never gotten an epidural or facet injection. Don't worry, it's not bad at all because the whole team in the procedure room starting with the nurse makes you feel comfortable. Yolanda- front office and scheduling. Condescending, doesn't listen, insulting, doesn't listen to messages. I had an appointment for an epidural, ok'ed by insurance, but when I showed up to the appointment they told me I needed a driver. They didn't tell me that before the appointment. So, I had to reschedule to see the doctor again to resubmit, but the epidural was denied because the Doctors office- Yolanda- didn't let the insurance company know that the procedure didn't take place. When I spoke to Yolanda to explain she cut me off several times giving me a different reason why it was denied- BUT SHE WAS WRONG, as I had spent an hour on the phone with the insurance company the day before. I had left a detailed message to this effect on her voice mail- WHICH SHE DIDN'T LISTEN TO. She then scolded me for interrupting her as I tried to explain. I told her she was going to lose a patient if she didn't listen and she said fine- and hung up. If I heard an employee speaking to a customer- or co-worker like that she would be fired on the spot. I've had epidurals and regular baclofen infusion pump refills and pain management. I so thankful to Dr. Weiner and Dr. J for managing my pain. I couldn't have the full life I experience today without them. Dr. Weiner was also my surgeon to for the Baclofen Infusion Pump. I have no complaints at all. I came to Dr. Weiner wheelchair bound and in a very dark depression, both Dr. Weiner & Dr. Jedamski began evaluating my condition, and then began to administer various therapies to help control my suffering. STAY AWAY if you want to be treated like a human being! And avoid the PA at ALL costs! This was my very first experience with a pain management group and I thought the first appointment went well... Then the second appt. I waited over an hour to be seen. The PA made a HUGE error and blamed the staff and when confronted about it. They were rude, arrogant, and basically humiliated me for being in pain! My h was with me and could NOT believe what the PA had said. I recently saw another Pain Management Group and from the very FIRST visit I was treated so much differently. I can't believe the difference. Dr. Weiner is great, his staff however, could use some bedside manner etiquette. I kept being told after leaving appts. that I had to make another appt. in a month but every time I tried, they said they needed an authorization first. When they finally got the referral, I was two weeks without meds (which was fine) but the staff kept scolding me for not making an appt. one month ahead of time. read more

He likes to talk so much, my 315 appointment doesn't actually get started until after 4 because his poor nurse has to play babysitter and tell him to stop talking so much. Today, I had someone in the room with me, and he decided to try and look onto her phone and see what she was reading. She actually had to turn her phone off and close it so he would go away. Then, regarding the neurostimulator I have implanted, he argued with me about the settings I have on it, when he's never personally checked out my machine. Then told me I was wrong when I said my machine has a high frequency setting, because he went to some conference and this company used ALL other companies to prevent that from happening. And when I tried to tell him about my machine, and how the company had just updated my settings withing the last 3 months, he said "we're done here", and dismissed me from his office. Dr. Weiner likes to be heard from others, and to be able to hear his voice, but the minute you correct him, you're gone. All they did was dope me up and then once I was addicted they decided to try other treatments to try and get me off opioids. They prescribed unsafe dosages and don't care about the patient. Needless to say I have spent 3-4 hours in their waiting room and never got a apology. They cannot be trusted. They make appointments and cancel them without your consent and then charge you $200 for missing the appointment they changed. If you have a problem don't tell them they will used it against you. Let me say first off Dr. Weiner is fine as a pain management provider however, his staff truly has zero knowledge of scheduling and office procedures. My husband has been told he needed to have his services "approved" prior to him coming in each visit ... that is not the case his provider at the VA clearly showed us the consult that covered all serviced for a 6 month period. The receptionist out front is rude to many patients when they check in if they ask any questions regarding bills or appt scheduling. Do not go into the office if you don't plan on waiting.. the doctor is always about an hour behind for every appointment ( so the patients sit in pain waiting). My husband would be given an appt and he would show up only to be told that he wasn't scheduled. The staff's lack of communication with each other and patients is pathetic. We have repeatedly asked to have the doctor call to discuss things and never a call from him. This is a pain clinic for people who are having horrible pain!!! The patient shouldn't have to be left to wait weeks or more for a procedure then be told he isn't scheduled on several occasions. I have sat waiting for my husband and heard the same story with other patients checking in. I work in the medical field and continuity of care should always be priority . The nurse called my cellphone today AGAIN when trying to call my husband, ( they were supposed to correct the # in the system to have his phone number 10 calls ago) and then she gets mad and me when I tell her this is a great example of what I mean about poor record keeping skills at their office, and hung up on me. Our experience with Dr. Weiner was acceptable...in the beginning. My Mom had to wait 3 or 4 hours in the waiting room for each appointment. Eventually, this doctor and his office staff showed their true colors. A mistake was made on Mom's prescription. She called the office and the staff refused to speak with her. We went to the office and waited 8 hours in the waiting room before the doctor would deal with his mistake. EIGHT HOURS! By 7 pm that night, we finally had the issue resolved. Never again! This office delivers substandard and shoddy care. Regardless of how smart he is...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. There are some decent pain management doctors in this area but Dr. Weiner is not one of them. read more
