This store is horrible! They never have anything in stock, and it takes weeks for things to come in after you order them online. The refund policy is horrible here. Even if you have tags on the items and it is past the 14 day return policy, they won't allow you to return it. Incompetents. WORST.SERVICE.EVER. They sent two text messages stating that the partial order is ready to be picked up in store(why partial...will the kid go to school without pants?) Got there, took 30 minutes for them to track the order (even if I gave them the order the moment I arrived). Lied about sending a text stating that the order is on CanadaPost. Spent almost 3 months waiting for my order that never could be completed. Incompetence at its best. Customer service is awful and I got a different answer on the status of my order every time I called. The fact that this is the only place to order uniforms in Toronto is a travesty. i was not pleased with the quality or service. i came to the store in july to order uniforms for my son and nephew. only two pants were in stock the rest had to be ordered and the store would call me when its in - which they didnt. i didnt know what size tie to get cause they had none in stock and no one at the store knew how to tie a tie and i didnt know what size to order, they also told me to buy uniforms that was required and i found out later it was not required. me and my sister called weekly to see if the uniforms came in, a week before school started i phoned and uniforms finally in store. when i came in the first thing the lady said to me "its good thing i picked up the phone this morning cause it gets busy and wouldnt pick it up otherwise" who greets customers like that?! i needed to exchange the tie i bought cause it was too small they had none in stock and it was already 3weeks into school. the store would not let me exchange because it was worn - we had no other choice but to wear cause there were none in stock for the longest time. several visits and phone calls to the store was such a hassle. i cant believe they dont stock before and after school started- what kind of service is this after being in business after 18yrs as u claim. Inschoolwear provides intolerable customer service, poor quality, high prices, and lack of inventory. The Inschoolwear store closest to our home did not handle orders for our school, so we had to go all the way to the Wicksteed location. We needed the new tie, kilt, and shirts, none of which were available at the store, so we ordered them and paid in full in store in early August. We first got the tie, but the short one they recommended is way too short, even for kindergarten. And they did not have the long one available. The kilt was available a few weeks later. So far it is such poor quality that the pin already fell off and got lost. Many girls with new kilts lost the pins. My daughter wore the old kilt for 3 years and the pin is still securely fastened. Furthermore, the sample girls shirt looked flimsy and made of translucent see-through cheap material, unlike the old shirt that was made of good quality cotton. When school started, the tie and shirts were still on backorder. Inschoolwear never calls customers/parents when items arrive, even though they claim to provide a list to school. We had to call them every week and most of them time they don't even bother to answer the phone and the voicemail is always full. Last week we called them and they informed us that both the shirts and tie are in, so we went to the store again this morning. The store manager was on the phone chatting and never greeted us as customers. She handed the order form to someone on the backroom who had no idea what we wanted. Eventually they came back and said as a matter of fact that the tie is here but the shirts were still on backorder. Unapologetically, they said we heard wrong on the phone. School has started for 3 weeks and they still don't have the uniform we ordered and paid back in early August, and we heard wrong?! We are deeply disappointed with Inschoolwear as the only supplier for the school uniform, with bad customer service, poor quality, high prices, and no inventory. The only reason they are in business is because of the monopoly granted by the school. read more

Horrible communication. The staff are rude and speak to you down to you. They don't communicate that you need to make an appointment to purchase. The attitude I got at the door was "yes" " what?" I am sorry but where do you go where you can speak to anybody this way! It is unacceptable and the owner should be aware of how the store is managed. I've been here many times to purchase uniforms and I cringe every time I walk in the door as the service is ridiculously unprofessional. read more

My daughter's school recently changed uniform suppliers to Inschoolwear. Here are my observations: - the skirt pills and ride up in the back - the polos pill - the blouses are a poor fit. The collar is very stiff and uncomfortable. The long sleeves run short. - the $23 neck tie comes apart and requires mending. - many delays in shipments. read more

It's now April 2018 and we have been trying since August 2017 to get inschoolwear to get the order right. After multiple calls, we have still not received 3 items (sweater, vest and shirt) we ordered and paid for in full. Each time we call, we are informed that the items are on their way. The company has extremely poor service and simply does not care. Most of the school year has passed with only 3 months left and the items have still not arrived. The last time we spoke with a representative, we were informed that the items were shipped. That was over a month ago! read more

The Oakville store has been great and they typically have everything we need in stock. The couple of times we have had to order items, they have come quickly and we have been called when they arrive. I was just there on the weekend and back to school shopping is complete! read more

If I could give less then a star I would. I ordered my daughters uniform in July well with-in the range to get them by the start of the school year. I am still waiting for them. The staff was uninformed and when I took my daughter there they sold me combinations of items that were not correct for her school/class. I called often in August to follow up with getting the her shirts. They told me that the shirts would be in next week, then next week and then finally they gave me the number of head office. I called them, its been over a week and my call has not been returned. The store told me they now have no time frame for when the shirts are coming in. I've also now emailed head office to get some understanding of the date they will come in. I've heard nothing. So at this point it looks like they won't get them for school picture day. Do your self a favour don't shop here. Let your school know about how unreliable they are and get your stuff else where. Its a HUGE wast of time/effort. read more
