We have a new mini restaurant and we need furniture. Our resto is vintage looking so we want a table with the color of brown to make it look vintage. We chose a round table with 4 chairs on it. It is a wooden table. We got a discount since we bought a lot. Aside from buying a table and chair we also buy some displays. We bought round glass with a unique design. It's perfect for my wall. We have a frame display that is attached to my wall already. They have a lot of good furniture so it was hard to choose what we wanted. Some staff recommend it. I always loved window shopping at Inside Home whenever I was in the neighborhood, but I was most impressed when my boyfriend and I purchased some vintage pieces from them during our last move. Not only did they have a beautiful selection of options that fit both our tastes, they were incredibly accommodating and helpful as we attempted to coordinate a cross-country move during COVID lockdowns. After purchasing my first condo this past Fall, I had a long wish list of furniture and decor - nearly everything with difficult, hard-to-find dimensions. I also had a very specific vision for each piece I was looking for, so I wasn't an easy-to-please shopper, to say the least. In fact, I was having a hell of a time, and was at my wit's end, especially with a few particular items on my list. When I stopped in to Inside Home, I didn't expect to find anything that met my uber-specific shopping goals. However, with the help of the store owner Jason, I ended up checking TWO of the most nagging items off my furniture wish-list! Jason was a real hero. Jason asked me, as he probably asks most customers, if I was shopping for anything in particular. I said "Oh gosh, lots of things..." Most shopkeeps would stop there and say, "Okay, let me know if you have any questions", or some other bullshit, and I would probably leave their shop empty handed. But Jason delved further. He asked the right questions, got me talking, and got me to reveal that I was looking for brass swing-arm sconces for my bedroom. He then proceeded to go to his back room, and returned with two PERFECT vintage brass swing-arm sconces. WHAT?! How in the world?! With just a single offhand comment, Jason solved my bedroom lighting dilemma in an instant. Jason hadn't yet done a restoration of the sconces, which was why he hadn't put them on the sales floor, so before he sold them to me, he spent over an hour re-wiring the electrical, installed brand new bulbs, and cleaned them all up! To top it off, he sold them to me at a great bargain. In summary, Inside Home offers a stunningly curated mix of vintage-modern and new-modern furniture, lighting, textiles, and decor. I have gotten lucky with their one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, and I couldn't be happier with their customer service. My only qualm with the shopping experience here is that the owner appears to keep his young son with him at the store every day. Not only does being on permanent babysitting duty create an awkward environment for the store customers, but I can't imagine that being cooped up in a high-end furniture store every day is the proper stimulation for a growing boy. The Inside Home shopping experience could go from Great to Perfect if customers could hold a conversation with the owner without being constantly interrupted by a talkative, inquisitive toddler. Inside Home designed my master bathroom and it was a fabulous experience from start to finish! The bathroom had mold issues and was also dated and cramped. I feel like it's now a palace and completely on trend while still being classic and timeless. It was worth every penny to hire them. It was my first time with a home renovation and they handled everything for me. Their contractors were professional and amazing to work with as well. They also stayed on budget and on time which was awesome! I can't recommend Inside Home enough! read more

The couple who owns this place is super friendly, and it is a nice family owned and run boutique overall. We were shopping for a sofa, and this is one of the only places we found that has full customization options for literally every dimension you could possibly want to modify, which is a dream for control freaks like myself. However, my main qualm was that the pricing differed greatly from when my wife came in for an initial estimate to when we both came in to dig in deeper to the selections. The piece we priced out had an extra piece to the sectional, so of course the overall price was expected to be more, but the comparable pieces to the initial quote were inexplicably hundreds more. When I emailed asking for an explanation, I received no response. Needless to say, we did not end up purchasing from here, but I would still recommend this place as an option for anyone looking for a fully customizable sofa - as long as you are aware that pricing may vary. If not requiring a custom piece and not looking for vintage, there are other options available in the city with comparable or even better quality for much, much less. Lastly, the couple had a young son that was in the store the entire time we were there. I have a toddler also and don't want to come off sounding like a jerk, but their child was constantly jumping on the sofa next to us and trying to get our attention. This was not a deal breaker by any means, but definitely took away from the professionalism of the environment. He was a cute kid, but I would expect more from a place selling high end furniture and would never have my child behave the same way with customers if I was running a similar business. read more

Inside Home is my favorite place to go in the neighborhood to buy gifts. I purchased multiple friends vintage bar sets for engagement presents, they loved them. The furniture is unique and beautiful, I will definitely purchase my next couch from them. They also do design and they have fabric and wall paper. This boutique requires you to ring a doorbell prior to allowing you to enter. I called beforehand and spoke with a man while walking to the shop, arrived at the shop about 5 minutes after that and within business hours, and rang the bell as the sign requested. Although I saw a woman and child running away from view after my second ring, they didn't buzz me in - nor did they come to the door at all. Extremely unprofessional and rude. It didn't help that the child kept peaking at me and running back - maybe to see if I was still there? Would not recommend. read more

My wife and I utilized Inside Home for their design services and couldn't be happier with our choice to do so. The owners (Rob and Jason), are very good at what they do and are great to work with. After my wife and I got married, we moved into our first home, combined all of our belongings and furniture. The result was an inconsistent look and feel that was bland, unwelcoming and not enjoyable to live in. After some time of settling into our place we knew we wanted to make some changes to make our space nicer, more livelable and more of a home. With my wife and I having different sytles/preferences we were concerned about buying a bunch of furniture/accessories that would just be a collection of items that didn't have a consistent look. With Inside Home being in our neighborhood we decided to ask them if they offerred design services and how the process worked. Being unfamiliar with working with designers we were unsure of what the cost would be and what we would be committed to purchasing when going through design choices and plans. For a very reasonable price they had a consulation with us where they visited our home and spent time understanding our individual styles. As part of the initial consultation they produced a design plan that they presented to us a week or two after our first visit. At that point in the process, we weren't obligated to purchase anything but we were really happy with their plan and reccomendations so ended up purchasing many of the items they recommended. I never could have came up with the layout that they recommended for our place and it works so well for our space. Rob and Jason did an excellent job of undestanding our different individual preferences and tailoring that into a design that we both love. Inside Home specializes in Mid-century modern but were willing and able to meld my wife's preference for rustic and mine for modern. The pieces that we purchased from their initial plan served as the structure that was built out from over some time. As those first pieces came in, we could start to see the vision they had and it became apparent how good they are at what they do. Working on the design over some time gave Rob and Jason the chance to see how the space was coming together and gave us and them direction in making follow up decisions for complementary pieces that filled out the space. They were always willing to stop by our place at a time that was convenient for us for deliveries as well as for follow up choices/decisions that needed to be made. In some cases where some of items didn't exactly fit into our style, Rob and Jason were very flexible and accomodating in suggesting alternate pieces based on our feedback. They were so great and easy to work with the entire process. They created a truly unique and custom design that we love and represents our combined styles. When working with Rob and Jason they draw their recommednations from a pool of national and sometimes local furniture makers and dealers that you won't find anywhere, many of which don't have retail offerings. They have relationships with a number of local artists, reliable contractors and craftsman to handle anything that comes up in the design process. Initially being unsure of whether to consult designers we are very happy we made the decision that we did and really apprecriate what Rob and Jason did to our home. We have many pieces that I know I will own for my lifetime and may be able to pass down through generations. Inside Home has the experience, ability and talent to do a great a job with any home. I highly recommend that you take a stop by Inside Home to talk to Rob or Jason if you're considering help with your space. read more
