Our experience has been great. Sales guy Corey helped us select a hot tub right for us. His delivery time quoted was spot on. The delivery team was excellent! Josh called for delivery set up and showed up on time! His team worked together to safely place our hot tub and were kind and professional. They took their time to explain how to use and set up the hot tub as well. And finally a special shout out to Henry and Nolan who made an extra trip back to attach our cover lift because initially it wouldnt fit with our gazebo. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with $75,000 ready to spend on a swim spa. Five to six people were sitting in the counter area. Not another customer in the store. Took forever for one of them to acknowledge I was there. I have used swim spas many times, was ready to buy one, and wanted to support a local business. I asked one simple question: "Do you sell swim spas?" Salesman started ranting, stating that they could get them, but nobody likes them because they will blow you against the opposite wall unless you are a professional swimmer, there is nowhere to sit, etc. Proceeded to tell me I should just buy an in stock $18,000hot tub just to sit in. I got my $6k deposit back. Read the fine print people. Once they have your money they will not return it even if at no fault of the buyer. Even if the salesperson crosses("X") off that part of the sales agreement they will try to keep your deposit. They will try but the law states otherwise. Get everything in writing! Nothing verbal is acceptable as they will lie once they have your deposit. Get delivery dates in writing otherwise, you may be waiting more than a year and still have no product to show for it. Charge your deposit on your credit card as this may be your only way to recoup your cash if things go south. Get everything in writing! If they refuse to put what they state in writing, walk away from the purchase. Check their BBB complaints and other reviews. Terrible customer service. ordered a hot tub in September and told delivery would be in November. I called the first of November for delivery date and told it would be in the next week and I would receive a call with the exact date. I called again a week later and told it should be in the next few days. I spoke with the manager and he stated that the tub was sitting in the rail yard in Chicago and the issue was finding a delivery driver. Later that day, I received a call from the salesperson Bobbie that he had good news....my tub was going into production the next week! i had been told for over two weeks that the tub would be delivered within days to then be told it wasn't even started yet. I canceled the sale but then received calls starting in January to arrange delivery. the weekend I canceled the order , we went to a different company, purchased a hot tub and it was delivered 10 days later. read more

My debit card was hacked on 4/11/24, for $2k. 5 mins later they tried to run my card again, at InsideOut Home Recreation, for $2,080 but that purchase was blocked. I called the business on 4/12/24 @ 10:10am, to see if they would be willing to stop/reverse the sale. The store manager Bobby, stated he was off on the 11th and asked if he could place me on a brief hold. Upon his return, he told me that his employees and his GM, David (Dave) were well aware of this transaction and that his GM and he would return my call later that day. After 5 hrs 17 mins I called them back. A young man answered and advised me that the GM is still not in but will call once he arrives. I then asked to speak with Bobby and Bobby would not take my call. The young man who took the call told me that Bobby would talk to me when the GM arrived. At this point it has been 8 days since my money was stolen and neither Dave nor Bobby have taken the liberty to call me back. I placed a 2nd call to my bank and advised them of the status and I was advised that they have received disputes tied to this Company many times. Bobby was very eager to tell me how his credit card was used in FL at a The Home Depot many times so he "understands." but this transaction was against my debit card and pulled funds that are needed. He then agreed and stated he would do what he could to resolve this and wish he knew who did this to me because it angered him so much. Yet nothing has been done and no calls have been received. This business does not care about the fraud that took place and their word means nothing. It makes me wonder if they are in on the fraudulent purchases. You could have done the right thing Bobby & David but you chose not. I hope your sale is worth putting a family in financial hardship! The response I received on Google Review was insulting. They blamed me, stated this was a bank issue and they are happy to help customers face to face. This business is in Ohio and I live in Wisconsin. They are in on it and do NOT care about people. They simply care about their bottom line; regardless of where the money comes from. read more

Service follow up on warranty could be improved. Waiting almost a year and no luck, getting resolved

Buyer beware. This store has beautiful products and we purchased a patio set. Paid entire amount in advance - delivery 3 months later. No problem there. We did not receive the table we ordered and when inquiring found out it actually does not exist. We have been trying to get an alternate table, but have gotten the runaround for the last 6 weeks while they are "contacting the Tropitone rep" for a resolution. VERY poor customer service. I have not been contacted as promised and have called every week for 6 weeks without an answer or resolution. So if your order is correct, terrific. If not, once they have your money, do not expect any kind of service. Very disappointing. read more

Worst customer service..I've ever had...has had my pool cover since July...it was under warranty and they act like they are doing me a favor by replacing/repairing it...it's now the end of September..I've called multiple times and all I got was the run around/ we will call you back...no phone call back ..so I call to check and ask what's the problem..and I'm being rude..lol...I'll never again go to this or any other insideout store again....to inside out maumee you SUCK...!!!!!!..I hope you go out of business the only reason I gave it 1 star is because yelp makes us. read more

We have been a loyal inside out customer for 3 years, which has now ended due to the service department.   On August 7, we began experiencing a "small tingling shock" when touching the water of the hot tub while not wearing shoes on our wet concrete slab that our hot tub sits on. We contacted our electricians, who came and checked the wiring, breakers and even changed the breaker just in case.   This did not resolve the issue and Inside Out service department was contacted, which is a chore in itself with the inability to talk to someone. I understand text can be efficient, but sometimes a verbal conversation is more effective.  A service technician came out and I was sent a long text about the steps that were taken to determine that it was not the hot tub, it was an electrical issue within our house.  Once again electricians came out and reviewed again to find no problem.  After multiple attempts to contact someone at the service department failed to return calls to us and to our electricians (they did speak once out of 3 attempts) I contacted our salesman, Kurt who finally got someone to contact us and scheduled to come out again to check the tub. Once again, "it's not the tub, there must be a nail in a wall or somewhere and I don't know how you'll ever find that"!  My husband asked at that point about changing out the heater because many people we had told about the situation had suggested the heater was the problem, but was told nope we checked, not the heater.    Again contacted our electricians who contacted our electric service provider, who made recommendations which they came to our house to check (3rd visit). After those tests, he stated it's got to be the tub everything else checks out 100%. We called another hot tub service and after explaining the situation asked, "Did Inside Out change the heater?"  I stated "no", her response - "Why not, it's under warranty?". "Right?" Subsequently they came out, changed the heater and the problem was resolved!!!!! 11 weeks, 3 trips by electricians at minimum of $200 per trip, not sure of the repair bill for the heater/service call (yet) and frustration beyond measure! Lastly, the service technician took the liberty of taking his fishing pole to the river behind our home to do a little fishing while he was to be analyzing our problem. Apparently, he carries a fishing pole in his service truck should the opportunity present itself at any property? We found this completely unprofessional and this entire situation has been awful, expensive and could have been avoided or at least shortened with verbal communication between electricians/service technician to spend a few minutes talking about what each one had checked and a plan to resolve. read more

we ordered a hot tub it was delivered yesterday wrong colors!!!! not what we ordered and they refused to take it back unless we paid a restocking fee olus delivery again!!!! ridiculous will never ever do business here again!!!! they never called me to talk this over as i was told by the delivery guy!!! don't waste your time or money here! now im stuck ​with an ugly ass hot tub for $7000!!! read more

i wouldn't buy a bucket from this store. i purchased a $10,000.00 hot tub 6 years ago and have had a repairman out every year since. no one at their store cares about the customers. to schedule a repair yo have to text them and wait for a reply. same with making a purchase or appointment. the worst customer service I've ever seen. the Sundance spa was initially great. about one yer later it was one thing after another. had a repairman out four times one year. product is made in Mexico so there's really no one to complain to. i would avoid ever going into this store. nothing in stock and months to wait for delivery.
