I purchased the "expert scalp service" which included a mini facial. It ultimately seemed like they just don't cater to people with any scalp or hair issues, they don't ask you about your concerns or goals, and really they provide a one size fits all experience. I really wanted to optimize my hair and scalp care, and sadly came away with the opposite. If they knew anything about scalp care for thinning hair, they sure didn't share any of that knowledge with me. Pro: The person who did my treatment seemed very kind and she meant well, so I have nothing against her specifically. I am giving two stars just because they seem like they try, they just don't seem to have any actual expertise in scalp or head care. The scalp analysis was a few quick close up scans of my scalp with no real explanation other than "see, there's some build up". I have very fine, brittle and thinning hair and the tech kept brushing it roughly throughout different parts of the treatment, including when it was wet with product in my hair (great way to lose more hair). I cringed as I could hear and feel my hair breaking every time. The treatment table is super uncomfortable and my neck kept locking up as the tech worked on different sides of my face, scalp and neck. The facial itself was totally claustrophobic - they put the face mask on, then a big sheet of gauze with something on top to weight it down covering your entire face, including mouth and eyes. It stays there for an hour while they do the scalp treatment. I couldn't see anything and there was so much going on with the water - it totally freaked me out when I was lying there trying to relax and had no idea what the tech was doing. And at one point, all of a sudden there's all this water shooting out at my neck out of nowhere. I spent half the treatment bracing myself for jump scares because I couldn't see anything. But even worse than the hair breakage was that the facial irritated my face so much that I am now all broken out :( I take really good care of my skin so this is a huge bummer. I have no idea what they did to it - there was some kind of scrubbing machine at the beginning of the facial that may have stripped my moisture barrier - or it was the fact that they left the mask on for an hour while they did the scalp treatment and it clogged my pores. My face is now all red and bumpy and some of it is itchy. This has never happened before, and I have no allergies - I think they just messed with my skin way too much. I'm sure they did not consider any specifics of my skin type or age when they did the facial. I'm glad other people like this place, and I'm sorry I didn't. If you have any specific scalp or hair issues, it may be best to avoid H20 or like me, you will come home with a lot less hair than you started with (and possibly a broken out face too!)

Booking the appointment was really seamless. The front desk was friendly and helpful in providing information as well as suggesting some massage therapists who could be a good fit. I made a point to fill all my necessary forms ahead of time then ensured I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment (as they instruct) to get situated before my massage. The facilities at Spavia were nice, relaxing, and clean. They even provide neck warmers for you to put on in the waiting room before your treatment which was such a nice touch. The massage itself was amazing. Before my treatment started Muammer went through all of the requests from the intake form to ensure he understood my preferences. Throughout my massage he did check-ins for pressure and gave me a heads of on what he would work on next which made me feel super comfortable. I do a lot of traditional weight training and my muscle really need to be worked on. To say that Muammer kicked my behind in the best possible way is an understatement. His massage technique and pressure was on-point! A bunch of knots that were causing so much tension melted away and I walked out of the appointment with my body feeling rejuvenated! Something that struck me as odd were the number of reviewers complaining about not getting their full treatment time. It had me worried that my services would be cut off early. Rest assured this absolutely DID NOT happen and Muammer gave me the full treatment time as booked. I think that when you actually show up on-time with the necessary grace period before your appointment like you're supposed to, you get serviced appropriately. The pressure was just right, and she intuitively found areas of tension I didn't even realize I was holding. I felt a noticeable difference not only immediately after, but in the days that followed. It's clear that Kristin has created a space where therapists are thoughtfully trained and supported; there's a high level of professionalism and presence that really comes through. The space itself is peaceful and calming. I'll admit I was briefly confused when I arrived since it's located on the second floor, but once inside, everything felt welcoming, organized, and serene. They were ready for me right on time, and the whole experience felt smooth and intentional from start to finish. I asked her before hand if she wanted all clothes removed - she just motioned to my shirt. Then proceeded to pull my pants down when I was in the table face down. Not okay. She also was very sloppy in her technique - again so much lotion. Then she would touch my spine frequently which is not okay in any sense. Multiple times - hence the not trained. She also at one point crawled up on me put her knees on my back thighs and arched my back up towards her by pulling my arms back! How is this relaxing? It was painful and not what anyone would have expected. These are some of the reasons I gave the score I did.

One of the worst massage experiences I've ever had!…read more Parking was rough; it took me almost 20 minutes to find a spot in the shopping center. Upon entry, staff wasn't friendly or engaging. When I was taken into my room, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that the walls were 3/4 height and did not reach the ceiling. I didn't think much of it at the time... ... and then the man receiving a massage in the adjacent room wouldn't stop loudly moaning. That's not incredibly relaxing... but, luckily about 20 min into my massage his service ended and the environment became quiet. ... and then a man entered the adjacent room speaking on his cell phone... and his cell phone rang every 5-10 minutes, and oh yes did he answer it-- on speaker! I learned far more than I needed about his future flight schedule.... For the next hour. With 3/4 walls, I would hope that staff would be more assertive to enforce a quiet environment. I rarely have a moment to spare to pamper myself with something like a massage, so it was very disappointing to leave more tense than how I arrived. The massage itself wasn't bad, but between the miserable parking and the unpredictable environment, I could never return.
