Sooo refreshing their people, place and processes they have keep things humming, efficient and amazingly effective. They are head and shoulders above Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and am super impressed with the doctors and therapists there. Don't waste your time with SNFs--which are a waste of time and awful experience (bad food, light weight/non-existent therapy, poorly managed). If you are thinking of trying out this place, feel free to message me for more details, but they are the crème de la crème from what I have experienced thus far.

Man, I fly up and down the stairs right now thanks to the technique learned. Shhh, don't tell my therapist, but I do now take two steps at a time going down the stairs. From the medical staff to the therapists, the team was A+++. There seems to be a culture of service at the company that carries through everyone. I'm missing all of these people asking me how everything is going and if I need anything at home. I may even have to admit I enjoyed the 7:00 am therapy sessions (I'm not a morning person). Only observation was that as a diabetic the food was a tiny bit challenging. The team however was always ready to replace a dish if needed.

I really appreciated that males and females are separated, which made the environment feel safe and focused. The food is excellent--fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The therapists are superb and genuinely supportive, and the BHTs are wonderful--always kind, helpful, and professional. A huge shoutout to the spiritual advisors Steve, Wild Bill, and Nate; they really pump this place up with their energy, wisdom, and inspiration. Overall, an outstanding facility that I highly recommend to anyone seeking quality rehab care

I felt my stay here was a total waste of time and money. For a place that costs a pretty penny per…read moreday, you would figure they would have doctors and staff who knew what they were doing... and maybe cared a tiny bit about their clientele? I came here literally the week before the pandemic started, so I realize that my options may be a little unfair considering what the world was just starting to grapple with, but it still doesn't excuse a lot of the mistakes they made. So my biggest complaint was that they basically kicked me out of detox after a day and a half, to then move me out to the cabins. Even though I was still sleeping around 18-20 hours a day due to the high amount of medication they were giving me, and I kept asking to stay in detox for just a couple more days at the very least! But you know what the male nurse said (I mention that he's a male nurse because I want to call him out, but I can't remember his name)? He told me, "oh you're just scared to move to the cabins, don't worry you'll be fine." Looking back I wish I had pushed back more, but I was literally too drained to try and argue. Like after this conversation I was told to pack my things so they could move my suitcases to the cabins, but I was so exhausted from the medication that I passed out halfway through packing my suitcase. My other biggest complaint was all these "interviews" they kept coming to you for on the very first full day you're there. So the day they're giving you the heaviest dose of medication out of all the days you're there? Well that's the day a different person comes and wakes you up every few hours, to ask you all sorts of personal questions, except you can't even give an answer as the medication has completely turned your brain off (seriously, all I could remember was my name, my boyfriends name, and where I was from, that was literally it). Though I somehow managed to communicate this to them, and was told that they'll check in with me next week, so no worries if I can't answer any questions now. Except I never saw them again... I have MANY more complaints, (like how my "counselor" only met with me twice even though they're supposed to meet with you 4 times) but as this is a super long review I'm going to end it here. So in conclusion, skip this place and find somewhere that actually gives a shit about its clients. Especially if you'll be paying out the nose for it... And to be fair, I will say that at least this is a beautiful place, their food is great, and the nursing staff is awesome (minus just that one male nurse)- like obviously the doctor is a complete asshat that is okay with kicking people out of detox without even asking if they're feeling up to that yet, but all the female nurses were extremely sweet to me the whole time I was there, more often then not I would end up feeling more "counseled" by them then by my actual counselor!

My experience working at Accel at Longmont was the worst experience I've had in healthcare. I…read moreaccepted the job because I wanted to make a difference for the residents, but I left feeling heartbroken by what I personally witnessed. In my experience, chronic understaffing led to unanswered call lights, long waits for basic care, and employees being spread so thin that providing the quality of care residents deserved became nearly impossible. I repeatedly raised concerns about resident safety and neglect, but I did not feel they were taken seriously by upper management. As a mandated reporter, I could not continue working in an environment that conflicted with my professional and ethical responsibilities. I was hired for one position but quickly found myself performing the duties of several departments--including activities, transportation, scheduling, reception, medical records, and assisting on the nursing floor--with little to no training or additional compensation. Staff members were expected to do more with fewer resources, and morale reflected that. I also witnessed resident safety issues that deeply concerned me, including residents leaving the building unsupervised and remaining missing for extended periods before management became aware. From my perspective, the facility also accepted residents with significant behavioral health needs without having the specialized staffing or support necessary to safely care for them. Another disappointment was that the facility shown in Google photos did not reflect what I experienced in person. I also observed residents being placed with incompatible roommates, creating unnecessary stress for everyone involved. Finally, I was concerned about resident privacy after seeing employee group chats that still included former employees. In my opinion, this raised serious concerns about confidentiality and the handling of sensitive resident information. The residents deserved far better than what I witnessed. Many frontline caregivers genuinely cared and worked incredibly hard, but they were not given the support or staffing they needed. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this facility to families looking for care or to anyone considering employment there.

My hairdresser recommended I see the PA here. I really did not like the thought of having to drive…read moreso far, but I was very unhappy with my doctors office in that I rarely ever saw the same doctor and I felt that I needed to be under the care of ONE person. I have learned that you do not expect your physicians to genuinely care, but that as a patient, we should have an expectation that our physician is properly monitoring your medications, condition, any changes, etc, and act accordingly. This has not been the case for me and unfortunately I chose to just accept "whatever" when it came to my health... If they did not seem concerned, why should I. Wrong approach. I know, but... One day I was complaining to my hairdresser about how I was physically feeling. I was just DOWN and and at the point of breaking (ok, not ONE day... she is my hairdresser... lol. They know EVERYTHING about us, because lets face it, 3-5 hours in a chair every few months, they know more about you than your best friend!) She told me about this particular PA and HIGHLY recommended I see her. It took me a few months to make the appointment, but I was at the end of my rope. It was THE BEST DECISION where my health is concerned I could have EVER made. I was diagnosed with my issue in 1999 and I have NEVER had the care I am receiving now. Not in just the treatment of my illness, but she treats me like I matter. I feel as though she comes in to work that day just for me... her only patient. She is an INCREDIBLE balance of everything I need. Compassion, directness, honesty, sensitivity, and humor... personalized... and so many other qualities I could not possibly put them all down. The care I receive here has totally changed how I deal with my disease and trust me, that is a BIG deal. I simply cannot wait to get to my appointment every month. Yes. You read that correctly. I look forward to going to my PA as much as I do having a nice dinner, silly conversation, and a glass of wine with the girlfriends. My visits with her give me the immediate and long term boost to stay positive. No matter how I am when I go in, I leave, every time, without fail, with a MUCH better attitude and a smile. She provides WONDERFUL suggestions to implement into my daily life and always food for thought. I HIGHLY recommend my PA. Three things you should know: NEVER, EVER be late. I know as patients we are all so used to sitting in the waiting room for 15, 30, 45 minutes beyond our scheduled appt. time... will NEVER happen with her. EVER. It is SO awesome to walk in and have someone respect your time as we do theirs. She is INCREDIBLY organized and prepared. Give her a chance. I am uber sensitive and not accustomed to the level of direct that she is. Perhaps most of you are not as sensitive as I am so it will be a non-issue, but the first time or two I met with her, I was uneasy. Almost scared. LOL. Something told me to hang in there... because under that initial feeling I had, there was something that said "she is JUST what I need". And to this day, it could not be any more truer. I receive the MOST excellent care. As another reviewer stated regarding initial and random urine tests... "Be forewarned, they do not tell you this nor will they tell you when you will be tested again"... Yep. That is the case. And if you are there to be treated for what ails you and have nothing to be concerned about keeping hidden, then you will respect this, expect this, and be willing to comply. When under the care of a physician, it is their right and their responsibility (for good reason) to require such testing.
