The rope course was insanely fun, the giant swing and zip line were a blast and our favorite part was honestly the rock climbing! Justin and Jasmine were fantastic - we will definitely come back (preferably not during a heat wave haha) and hope they will be our guides again - every single person today made it memorable for my family! From the initial inquiry the young man I spoke to on the phone was so helpful in getting my information and providing a very detailed email about the party set up, including surrounding businesses that could provide food at the location. We have unfortunately experienced an influx of bad weather over the last week so I knew it was likely we wouldn't be able to have his party due to it being outdoors. When I called I spoke to a woman (who I wish I asked her name) that was so kind. She apologized profusely about the weather even though it's clearly out of her control and offered to reschedule us for another time. Unfortunately that wasn't an option because of my scheduling limitations but I appreciated how apologetic she was for it. We will be back for sure to get a good race in but I really appreciated my interactions with the staff here for this particular event.

I think I tried to get people together, and I just wasn't committed enough... plans fell through. So I forgot about it... until a friend said she was celebrating her birthday and this was the activity. I jumped for joy in anticipation of the outing. Our group arrived with plenty of time... and once our time slot was up, they let us put our jackets and pocket contents in little cubbies. Dodgebow is literally dodgeball with arrows. The bows are so easy to draw, and the arrow tips are soft and foamy. Having been a dodgeball team captain recently, AND already enjoying basic archery, it was my time to shine. We had a couple of practice rounds hitting targets and getting a feel for the field. It had inflatable obstacles to hide behind, and there were targets on the opposite end where we could revive our teammates. It was such a fun time, and I'm either considering this location or the other one for my birthday. I cannot wait until the next time! She assured me over the phone that by the end of our hour long experience my dad, my brother and I would hit the bullseye, and she delivered. She gave us pointers to help fix the issue I was personally having hurting my forearm/elbow and to become more accurate marksmen. She gave us just enough information to not be overwhelming but still gave us enough to work on to get better. It was extremely worth the price for the amount of skill increase and fun I experienced, and she reshaped my view of archery entirely, from really negative, to really positive. 10/10 would 100% would go again.

When our daughters were younger it was a go to place for them and their friends. But the girls got older and their interest declined. I'm not sure what motivated my daughter want to go back but I'm glad we did. We went yesterday one day before Father's Day. My daughter chose this day because we went on Father's Day years ago and it was extremely crowded. Good plan. Not too crowded. Great weather too. Our experience we great. The staff was terrific. One downside. I'm 8 years older and I noticed it. So, if you are thinking about visiting don't delay because as the song says: Time Waits for No One.

One of the few private gun clubs in the anti-gun state of Maryland. Berwyn is a wonderful place to…read morego and practice marksmanship. They have a lot of members from all walks of life, from hunters to law enforcement, casual target shooters to dedicated competitors. Despite recent pressures from Maryland legislation, Berwyn's membership remains strong and may even be growing larger as one of the few venues people can use for their hobby or career. The range itself is set in the woods of rural Bowie. Admittedly, it looks more like a Boy Scouts camp than a major high-tech range, but that's part of its charm. They have three "no sky" ranges, meaning there are baffles set to block any stray bullets that do not head down the range. A 50 foot, a 50 yard, and a 100 yard allow people to use whatever they need for their chosen firearms. As an outdoor range, you can expect to deal with weather and climate as well as insect life. I always check the forecast before deciding to head out there. As a private range, this is not accessible to the general public. To gain access you must send an e-mail asking about membership. Within a month, you will know if you are approved to join (I've never known anyone to be turned down). After that, you have access to the range, but must remember to follow all range rules, including proper safety, avoiding damage to the range, and cleaning up after yourself. If you're into firearms, for anything from hunting to marksmanship, and looking for a good range in the Prince George's and Arundel area, then I recommend looking into this place. Today's adventure led us to walk on water . We purchased a Groupon for a 90 min watercraft…read moreexperience. Our host, Andy, was so awesome! He engineered this watercraft. It's still in the testing phase but we had a great time. No issues at all. Our journey started at Truxton Park Boat Launch. You have to park in the parking lot and walk about 2-3 min to the boat launch. We completed the consent and boarded the watercraft and took a brief tour of Annapolis while Andy "walked on water" to propel the boat. We saw tons of yachts and expensive houses. Next, we disembarked and sat on a blanket under a shaded tree for lunch and laughs . Andy is great with kids. After lunch, we hopped into the water for some swimming ‍‍ and water football (life jackets provided). Andy played an awesome water playlist to include the theme song for JAWS , Gilligans Island , and Titanic . After swimming, we got back on the boat for some stand-up paddling and squirting birds with a water gun. We saw a few beautiful herons and ospreys . We also waved and chit chatted with a few boaters and kayakers. It was a creative adventure!
