Came back to Adventure Park with my daughters (10 and 12). This time I was going to join in. For first timers I highly recommend you read their website for all that you need to know in advance before going. Closed-toe shoes are a must and gloves are highly recommended. You don't have to buy their gloves. If you have gardening gloves or weight lifting gloves those will do. Also there is a video regarding putting on the harness and clipping/unclipping. It looks a little intimidating but don't let that scare you. When you get there you have to watch the video again, they will help with the harness, and then you get to practice the clipping/unclipping and ziplining in a practice area to help you get comfortable with it before going to the higher elevations. Adventure Park also allows kids as young as 6 years old to participate in the aerial adventures whereas some other places (like Go Ape) require kids to be 10 years old. There are a number of different paths (or trails) that have different difficult levels. I stuck to the beginner and semi-beginner levels with my youngest and my oldest left us behind on the harder ones. It was so much fun but it was a workout. Though our ticket was for a 3+ hour timeslot we only made it to about 2.5 hours because we were worn out. There is lots of parking and they also have food trucks. In addition to the ropes courses and ziplining they also have axe throwing. Overall we had a blast and I would highly recommend it.

If you're looking for an activity in the DMV area area that is not centered around food or alcohol, look no further! This a great activity for kids, but also thrill seeking and active adults. You will wake up sore the next day as you venture through the rope courses and zip lines. There is a difficulty level for everyone like all way to double black. As for me, I stuck to purple and yellow and made it through three courses in the three hours I was here. They have water stations throughout the park so no need to bring your bottle. Do wear tight fitting long sleeve clothing to minimize the chance for bruising and random cuts. If you just wanna bring the kids, there are a couple places to sit near the front. Staff was helpful and friendly throughout the park!

Today was an amazing day! My gal pals and I from work decided to have an adventure today! It was really nice! We had a wonderful time. The set up and move around is super easy! Once you get the hang of it. I am going to take my hubby here for sure! The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They also offer a military discount. There are also water points after all the areas. So no need to bring your own water source. I am sure this place gets packed on the weekend so when the hubby and I do go it will be during the week for sure! Would recommend and will definitely be back.

My neice and I love this place. Our favorite course is sprite because it has a bunch of zip lines. Snapdragon is nice and easy. Waterfall is HARD and requires a lot of upper body strength. Only down side to the park is the porta potty situation.

Zip line Test your wits navigating a series of platforms in the trees connected by cable, wood, rope and zip lines.

The staff is really friendly, took my kid for his 10th birthday and I joined him, there is a lot to do and enough time to do it.

Not only a terrific place to go for a visit with the whole family, but also a great place to host a birthday party! Choices are both covered, and uncovered, which then allows a nice outdoor fire pit! There are 15 separate tree trails of different levels of difficulty, with the double black diamond being the most difficult. Each trail has zip lines but primarily consist of "bridges" between tree platforms. They are made of rope, cable, wood steps or logs, etc. Plenty of free parking and the staff is amazing! They'll start the outdoor fire pit for you!

Really cool experience! Would definitely go back even though I'm afraid of heights but I felt safe being locked into the wires. There was a part where I fell so I did hurt my wrist & shoulder from pulling myself back up (precious injury) but otherwise it's a fun activity to do with friends or even family!

Amazing place to go! Definitely not just for kids, there are some advanced level obstacle courses. I literally cried in fear before getting on one of them and I'm not easy to scare. I'm glad I did it! These courses will challenge you physically, mentally and emotionally. Also, a great place for a date. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. He aced some of the most difficult obstacles!

I enjoyed learning knife and ninja star throwing. The variety of weapons kept the games fun. My friend and I alternated between a traditional target, tic-tac-toe, and zombie target practice. Being the first appointment of the day, we got to choose the music genre. I liked that after safety and lessons, you're free to play any game. The digital boards made keeping score easy, and we could go at our own pace. Overall, we had a great time.

I booked the room for two and with taxes it was about $63 for the same experience and other rooms you are looking at $70 or more for two. The staff were very pleasant and gave us thorough instructions. They also have a tablet available for you to choose Spotify songs of your choice. The music sounds so great coming through the speakers. You are given 25 minutes to paint in a dark/black light room. They give you paint brushes, a canvas, a few colors of paint and some objects to use to make different designs. The objects in my opinion didn't really work in the way that they were probably intended to. However, they gave a decent amount of paint and we had a ball! Towards the last five minutes, they give you some paint guns in which you can have a battle with your friends or spray the walls if desired. If you are into axe throwing, they also have that available.
