I would not recommend Insight. Over the past year, service has been extremely inconsistent with repeated miscommunication and incomplete work. Basic tasks like checking rodent bait stations and removing cobwebs are often missed, despite being charged monthly. My last experience was especially frustrating--a technician said he was on the way, never showed, and later claimed my gate was closed when it wasn't. He promised to return the next day but didn't. When I called the office, I was told my service had already ended, which completely contradicted what I had just been told. Overall, the company is disorganized and they overcharge. I'm glad I am finally out of my contract. read more

Not only was he thorough in his processes, he was responsible, respectful, and his commitment and communication was above and beyond! We have neurotic dogs! Tacoma location has the worst customer service. They kept moving the rodent issue from one side of the property to the other, then wanted to charge me DOUBLE. At other pest control companies I use, they charge for the location, not make the situation worse, then try to upsell you. I canceled the service and they billed me $500 that my credit card company told me I can dispute because services weren't performed. Insight was a constant pain due to their frequent texting (I requested them to stop several times), going to the wrong location, high prices (almost $200 per visit) and really under trained call center people. Wow ! Great service! They were able to fit me in on a weekend within 24hrs of speaking to customer service. Brian Williams was prompt, friendly, informative, and was able to identify 2 holes where rats were coming in and out. He sealed off the entry points, set traps, and closed that area off with wire mesh so my dog or my cats couldn't get hurt, and sprayed rat deterrent in the other areas. The Insight technicians are excellent and always do a great job. In fact, we've used this company for years with excellent service in all aspects. Recently, this company initiated a policy whereby the technician, after completing his job, texts the customer asking to "rate his service" but in fact the text is asking for a tip from $7.00 to a % along with $1.50 to pay for the tip texting service. Last time we had service and received this text, we called the company to object. INSIGHT should PAY its employees A LIVING WAGE, not reduce them to begging for tips. I have been happy with insight so far. My house was infested with ants after the first treatment they were pretty much gone they put out some bait which of course brings more ants but they eat it take it back to the colony and this kills them after four weeks they came out again and pretty much no more ants. I also have them come once a month to spray my yard for fleas, flies and mosquitoes. No mosquitos yet this year. The only thing I'm not really excited about is you do sign a contract but other than that I have been very happy with this company read more

If you want to keep your pesfs longer then yes fo with these guys. If you want to actually gef rid of the problem go wirh someone else. We ended up with a pest problem so we listened to friends who had had a similar problem in the past and had great results. Ok no problem, right? WRONG! I called and left a message with the issue and our landline phone number. 1 day no return call. 2 days no call. 3 days I call and someone finally answers. We get an appointment set. Day 6 they call to reschedule, okkaayyy. We wait another week night before the agreed upom time they send an email asking to move us to APRIL. Uh NO. I called in left a message cancelling ANY future appointments. This is just MY opinion but that is no way to run a business. Just shameful. read more

I had service from insight in the past, and they were always absolutely excellent. The people at the office and the techs who came out were always extremely professional. Yes they have a quarterly service with contract, that's typically how they operate, but they are always clear and upfront about that, so I'm not sure why anyone would complain about this. I had to end my service due to financial strain, but I needed them again for a problem I was having with rats and a burst pipe recently. Even though it's been years, I got the exact same exceptional service! Colin in the office was extremely understanding and patient, and he went out of his way to make sure someone could help me. He initially got me scheduled next day but later was able to get someone to come out the same day for me because he knew how urgent my situation was. I don't think I have ever experienced a phone call with a business that had that level of excellence in customer service. Colin is an absolute gem! Jeremy was the tech who came out, and once again he was fantastic, extremely friendly, and professional. I know this is long, but PLEASE READ! Their product does not work (at the very least, for our property) and you get stuck into a contract that they give you "such a great deal" on (it's because you'll owe them if you cancel). You end up either paying a large chunk to cancel when their products ultimately do not hold up to their claims, or have to continue paying monthly until the contract is up. Either way, it feels kind of like a scam. I am convinced that their large amount of positive reviews are due to the technicians asking for you to give them a good review so they get a monetary bonus! Their technicians are pretty great though, their products just don't work for us. (However, if you're not paying your employees enough to begin with that they have to beg to get a review, that's beyond messed up!!) I started using Insight Pest Solutions in July of 2021. After our servicing, we expected to potentially see more pest activity for two weeks because they informed us that it may happen. Understandable! However, we were still seeing more pests than before after the waiting period, and asked for a re-service. There was still just as many, if not more pests two more weeks after that. We kept asking for re-services, taking their word that it would help and that it just "takes more and takes time". It didn't work. There was one short period where it seemed like it may have been working, until we saw spider webs all across our shower and our plants in the kitchen, spiders scurrying from our bathroom to our bedroom and in our daughter's rooms, along with huge spiders and wasps still outside. They didn't want to refund the single monthly payment that is in the contract until I verified all of our interior re-services (interior is the only re-service that counts for a refund for the month, by the way) and that we were having to move up our quarterly because of their products not working. They then agreed to refund for one month. After more services, it almost felt like it was ACTUALLY working for about a month or so! We were stoked! Turns out, there was just significantly less pest activity due to it being incredibly cold outside because it was winter. As soon as the weather became even slightly better (faux spring) the amount of pests became overwhelming. I was very upset and emailed them to give my "157 day notice" due to them having a requirement of giving notice before cancellation or else it will automatically renew service. I was told I couldn't do that and that I would still need to contact them 30 days before my contract ended to properly cancel the service. They also inquired about why I was not happy with the service. I told them how their product just does not work, and they asked how they could make things better for me. Due to how expensive their services are to NOT work for us, and the financial struggles we are having, I was honest and told them that the only way they could truly help me was to let me out of our contract that has about 5 months left on it and not charge me the cancellation fee. They didn't respond. About a week later, I sent the same email. I still didn't get a response until I sent an email saying I was contacting the BBB and putting my experience out there. Their response was to terminate my account (by them choosing breach the contract) and charge me on top of it. I wasn't even going to write this review until they were disrespectful and ignored me for so long, and then charged me once I said I was going to write reviews. This is how they handle issues with their services not working and their customers being upset about it. I can't say it enough that you should go with literally ANY other company for getting rid of pests. I'm so disappointed and disheartened that it didn't work and that they would just ignore my email and my honesty about everything going on and then charge me a fee when they decided amongst themselves to terminate the contract despite me saying that the only way I would cancel was if I didn't get charged the fee up front. Please save yourself so much trouble and let my unfortunate experience be a lesson to you. read more

Wow, beware of this business before you enlist their services. Last night I identified a large cantaloupe wasp nest under the eaves of my first floor sliding glass door. I called to get an estimate and the lady tried to hard sell a "quarterly package " for pest control but when I explained that I had no regular pest problem I was then told a 1 time service would cost $395 minimum. That sounded incredibly expensive and I told her no thank you and then called an independent beekeeper who came out within an hour, did the job well and only charged $100. With that said make sure you check other alternative pest businesses to compare cost so you don't get STUNG. read more

I have had a wonderful experience working with Insight Pest Control! Colin in the office helped ensure communication with the hands-on staff and that all of our concerns were addressed. He is very professional and attentive. The crew he has sent over, from Kelley to Shane to Mike have all been great. They are consistent with following up with concerns, new pest sightings, and checking traps. No matter how many times we call (which is a lot because these damn mice are smart), they always come out without an additional charge.
