This is the worst haircut I have ever received. I wanted to donate my hair which was waist length and only cut to my shoulders. The stylist did not listen to me and kept cutting despite my pleas to stop. He put his headphones in and ignored me. My hair is now more than 2 inches above my collar. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS U WANT TO BE GASLIT AND MADE FUN OF BY THE EMPLOYEES!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I WOULD. I came for toning to get rid of my brassy hair and a root touchup and I came out looking like a leprechaun. Since I'm a regular, they have my color written on a card. After washing my hair, I pointed out, very respectfully, to the manager that my hair was a little orange and he told me it was because I was asian so of course it's going to come out orange and that I need 2 sessions. However, the other times I've come here I've never had two sessions and it was always fine. Then he proceeded to tell me that this was MY fault and that I can't blame the salon for something THAT I ASKED FOR. HOWEVER I NEVER ASKED TO BE TURNED INTO A GINGER. I was sobbing at this point and instead of comforting me or offering a solution, the manager turned to his employees, laughed and made fun of me while he was shaking his head. Still sobbing and visibly upset, I said it was fine and he proceeded to gaslight me more saying "Yea you see it's fine. It's fine." I was respectful the whole time which is what made me even angrier. I never once bashed the salon or the employees, I never made a complaint, I never brought money into the conversation so he wouldn't get the idea that I wasn't going to pay (I did pay for this BTW), and I never gave an attitude. The fact that he chose to make fun of a distressed 17 year old customer instead of offering a solution or alternative speaks volumes. The customer service is DISGUSTING. I have been to this hair salon several time and thought it was decent for a quick blow out. I took my 10 y/o daughter for a hair cut and blow out tonight and had a terrible experience. The woman who washed her hair did not brush it out and from the looks of it, did not condition it. When the hairdresser got to her, he ended pulling and pulling at the her hair. After I paid, I quietly told the guy at the desk that I wanted to give him feedback about what happened during the haircut. He was incredibly rude, he aggressively put his hand in my face to shut up and yelled the shampoo lady dis her job. I just said, sir I am just trying to explain that she is a child and maybe you could have done something different, like condition her hair or use detangler? He did not listen and kept yelling at me to shut up and that the shampoo lady did her job. Never again. read more

this was the most absolute most unprofessional salon I've ever been too. I requested to ask the stylist to have a consultation while my hair was dry because it is very curly and my hair was blown straight prior to entering the salon. they refused to do it and said if I don't trust them then we aren't welcome. this was my first time in this salon, how could you do that to a new client/any client. besides that there were dirty towels throw all over the place and food left on the counters. oh and cant forget the two cockroaches that we saw within 10 minutes of us being there. I feel bad posting this but I'm truly not happy with my hair. I've been to this place a few times for a wash and blow out. I figured I'd try a haircut. I asked for two inches off, a v shape in the back, and long layers. My hair which used to hang down past my chest... Now hangs just below my shoulder. It took me two years to grow that out... Gone. I could recover from that with extensions if my stylist stopped there. He decided to randomly thin out my hair.... And give me long bangs..... its like he wouldn't stop cutting. I tried to sit with it, I don't like to complain.. I even said I liked it... But I'm really upset. read more

I made an appointment for a blow out for 3:30. Arrived at 3:25 and had hair washed. After waiting 40 minutes, I asked the girl who washed my hair when I was going to be taken. She said ask him, and pointed to Lam. He said 10 minutes. He told me to sit in one of the chairs. I though I was next. Another gentleman told me to get up and he took another customer. 10 more minutes later I was still waiting and he said idk who made your appointment with me. I'm off today. I will NEVER EVER go here ever again. I went here for a 2-inch trim and left with shoulder-length hair. My stylist was male & he kept cutting & cutting. He also kept yanking my hair with a comb. I went home & started crying because I took care of my hair for 2 years & he cut it all away. 2. They re-used the same gown the lady before me had to wear. Pieces of her hair were stuck all over the gown. I can only imagine how many times it's been re-used without being washed. 3. Scissors & hairbrushes were being shared between stylists & were not cleaned. My stylist tried to use a hairbrush that lots of hair blonde hair wrapped up. I immediately asked him to not style my hair as I was horrified that he would consider using it on me without cleaning it thoroughly & sanitizing it. 4. If you choose to get a hair wash & massage done, please keep in mind you will have to tip 2 people instead of just the stylist. DO NOT GO HERE. My Mom had a good experience here when they first opened, so I went in for a hair trim. When I left my hair looked nothing like what I wanted. I asked for about 2 inches off the back and the stylist cut off more than 5-6 inches. I told him that I don't like my hair too thin on the bottom, but he layered it so much that that's what he ended up doing. He also flattened and straightened my hair which left if looking shapeless for a week after my appointment. Why no volume?! read more

On 12/28/23 I called for an appointment and was told I could come right in...no appointment necessary...I went in, it was so crowded and the air was smokey as the doors were shut...next was I had to wait for 25 minutes before being served. The young girl with black hair came over to me with the tray , so I said hello because she didn't say anything to me, which was rude. She said hi and left. I continued reading my phone and maybe 5 minuets later she came back without saying anything again and put the apron over me which startled me as I was still reading my phone. So I said, ok, I'll put my phone away and I had to do so with the apron on me. She put the dye in my roots not saying a word throughout the process. She then came back about 10 minutes later and started putting the highlights in...when she was done it was 2:05. I then asked the manager, the owner wasn't in this day, to check my hair, he called to the girl who did my hair, and she said I have to wait because it should be done in 50 minutes...I have been going to insight since they opened and I know you don't have to wait that long...so I waited. And then I realized it was after 3:00 and she still didn't come back...so again I asked the manager to get her...I took out 1 piece of foil from my hair, and it was WHITE!!! I was so upset, and the manager took me and started to take out the foil, when the girl came and finished and said not one word!! Even though I was very upset...I didn't want my hair styled, I just want to get out...I got up and she said no. 10 minutes for toner... when I was done she blew my hair and I went to pay and paid the manager and gave her a bad tip. This place is awesome. After a really bad haircut, Jack came through and saved the day. He took his time, was very precise and detailed and corrected the problem. I love the new cut. Ruined my hair. I got a blow out and asked for beach waves which the stylist used the flat iron to curl. I saw lots of smoke and knew my hair was being damaged but never expected that it permanently ruined my curls. My hair now is flat with no curl. I have very fine hair and my curls give me my only volume and devastated that it's lost. Hoping my hair grows out quickly. read more

Got my fresh haircut here before this pandemic started and I just have to say, worth the money and they did an awesome job cutting my hair and it looked so healthy!! Was so happy with the result. My stylist was very good and professional besides the fact he scrubbed a bit too hard on my scalp while shampooing but overall was a great first experience here! Came twice for a wash and blow as per a recommendation, i came in today for a wash and blow and bought my sister as a first timer and the guy who approached me (maybe the owner) was soooo rude! He said i told you your appointment is at 1:30pm and your sister needs to wait 30 mins but on the phone it was said that we can both come in together, why would two sisters come in separate times and we live together and i recommended the place to her?! He was so dismissive and told us we can leave, never again this is ridiculous. I was going to make this place my weekly hair salon but not with that nasty attitude never again! I will be telling all my coworkers and friends to stay away from here. Plus beware when you get a deep conditioning for $6 extra they literally throw it on your hair and wash it off right away, what's the point of that? I can't rave about this salon enough. First is the shampoo, the best head massage around. You lay flat on what I can only explain as a pedicure chair. The chair massages your back and legs as they're massaging and scrubbing your head. Then into the stylists chair. I've had Edward two times, the first time he blew my hair out curly, those curls lasted all week! Amazing! This time I went for straight. Boy do I have a blowout for you.... Ladies If you are looking for a great reasonable blowout this is the place for you. Be ready to be blown away. Lam has done my blowout a few times now and it is absolutely perfect every time. He is a gem, he's a craftsman at his trade. He's like Edward Scissor hands with out the scissors , but with brushes instead. His power tool ( the blow dryer) deserves a video. I never saw anyone hold two blow dryers at the same time. Absolutely incredible!!!! My daughters also go and they use Jeff , Anthony or Jack also hair wizards. It is a definite must go. Let's not forget the incredible hair washers that are just as amazing as the hair stylists. Place is nice , clean and service is good. You must get your hair washed, don't skip that process. Just received the WORST hair color in my life. I've used Insight before, they couldn't find my color in their computer so I showed a picture of what my hair normally looks like. The manager who normally mixes the color wasn't there so for 25 minutes the staff was trying to figure out what color to use on me. I went in dark blond and came out jet black!! Told them it wasn't right and they yelled at me and acted like this was what I asked for. They tried to correct it and it still looked awful. I told them I was still not happy but that was it and they asked me to pay. I paid but didn't tip and they told me never to come back again, trust me I won't and hopefully you don't either. read more

I went in for some highlights. With that being said I was told by the owner that only one color could be done for my hair (even though he asked what I wanted). I was then told I would have to come in for two sessions to get the color that I did not even want. Aside from that when my sister came in to do her hair here, she received only half of her hair covered in highlights. If you're using a Groupon beware because they'll try to make excuses to do a half assed job . You'll also save more if you don't use one since they *require* two sessions for something that could be done in one, which is VERY misleading.
