I wake up being choked by the smell when my windows are open and it's almost impossible to sit outside. I wrote a good review here previously after being asked to do so by these guys. I have to agree with the review that states they do not stand behind their work or quality. they left my yard a mess and I am still picking pieces of sharp broken pipes and whatnot out of the dirt that they carelessly ran over and left. In addition I asked them to remove two pieces of rusty pipe that they did not and they left huge piles of rocks that are impossible for me to move without machinery. they definitely take your money and run, and I would too if I left this kind of work behind.

They don't stand behind their work and they don't finish the job to your satisfaction. When they were done with my job, the yard was uneven and in terrible shape. They just threw some grass seed down and split. I also asked specifically that they repair the lawn damage from the machines, but, no dice. Two years later, a hole in the middle of the yard because they forgot to glue the PVC pipe and wastewater floods the yard. Called to see if they would repair and they never returned the call. I reached out to Steve, and I was very glad I did - Steve was very helpful explaining the process of replacing the field, and walking me through timing, working with an appropriate engineer, providing a quick estimate, and sticking to a tight timeline. This is a family business, and throughout the process I interacted with most of the family and they were all very kind, personable, and respectful. Steve would reach out to me to update me appropriately and answer my questions throughout the process. I believe I paid a very fair price for very professional and quick work. I would highly recommend Speidel and Son's to anyone looking to conduct septic repairs. I plan on reaching out to them for another project (retaining wall) and look forward to working with them again.

The guys came to my house as stated. They stated I needed a new pump and replaced it. After repair, the system was not working. According to Sean, it was the electrical system to the septic that was the issue. My family member made adjustments to the electrical system to make it work. The company still charged $2500 for a pump that was not needed (2 guys, 2 hours). Further, Sean stated there wasn't a warranty on the pump. What????? We looked up the pump (Liberty pump, model # 257 1-1/2; you can buy it on Amazon for $216!) I requested a receipt for a week straight, to date, Sean has not emailed me the receipt. I wonder why?? Job felt like a scam!
