Did a really nice job explaining to me how the system works and how to maintain it. He had to dig out the lid of the one tank and really took his time to protect the grass. After the tank was empty he put all the grass back like a puzzle to make sure that it looks good. M&B Septic is a terrific, responsive and very knowledgeable company. We had a terrible emergency where the septic was backing up into the utility sink of the house. After our previous septic service (John Matthes) didn't help us, I called M&B. They immediately got us on the schedule and sent help within hours. Leo was very knowledgeable and found the problem of a clogged pipe and filter. No pumping was necessary and he had the system running in no time. Leo also gave me better maintenance instructions for the future. The bill was a lot less than I expected and they did not charge me for an emergency service as the other company was planning to. Contacted M&B in regards to replacing my septic. I was emailed the estimate but not an itemized estimate (a written proposal). I then emailed Sean requesting a proposal since we decided to go with M&B, did not receive a response. I waited a week and called left a message with their secretary, never received a response back. I ended up going with another septic company. My septic is almost complete and am happy I went with another company. I don't find M&B to be professional since they never returned my email or calls and didn't bother contacting me weeks later. read more

Everyone and their brother were eventually involved - the town, the state, the EPA, the wetlands people, the highlands people - you name it. Had a clogged pipe, we weren't sure where but somewhere on the way to the septic tank. I called four plumbers on a Friday and only one got back to me to say he wasn't available until Monday. Saturday morning I searched on google and found M&B, called at 9 in the morning and Sean answered the phone and had someone here (Mike) within an hour. Mike found the problem almost immediately and we had a crew here in the afternoon to dig out our septic tank, pump it out and put a riser on it. I'd call that excellent customer service, and the bill was reasonable. I highly recommend this company. read more

I just moved into this home and septic is new to me. I called around to find a company that can service my septic system. i called a few, and i did not get a good feeling about them. So then i called (CSI SEPTIC) the service I used that originally inspected my septic. Which was also fantastic. They do not empty the septic,however they recommended M &B Septic, the women, at M&B, i spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and eager to help. I told her i had a hetic schedule and she said, well is today good for you? WOW, i was shocked at the immediate availability. Within an hour or so Bill the technitian with M &B showed up, very pleasant and more then willing to educate me on the DO'S AND DONT's of maintaining your septic system. He was very educating and more then willng to take the time to answer any quiestion i had. And even tell me things i was not even aware of in keeping up my septic in well running condition. I have used M&B many times. Recently I had a bit of a clog to say. I called and the technician came the same day. He said all he had to do was clean the filter and I probably didn't need to get my septic pumped for another year. He could have told me I needed to have it pumped but the company was honest. My problem was fixed and next year I will call M&B for septic to be pumped. read more

M & B Septic is great to work with! Prompt, curtious service for sure!!! This is the first house my husband I and own with septic. Our tech Mike was great at answering questions we had and provided info on how to properly maintain your septic. We recently had a plumber come out for a clog. The plumber worked 1+ hrs AND charged us 330,00. After no solution, the plumber opened our septic lid and said we didn't have a clog but our septic was full. We thought it odd, since we just had M & B pump it out a little over a yr. ago, but we assumed a plumber would know better than us we called M & B. Sophia, who is an absolute pleasure to deal with, manged to fit us into their schedule for the following AM. Mike came out and said our wells didn't need to be pumped. He showed us and explained what the normal operating level of our tanks looked like. He then showed us how to confirm that we did have a plumbing plumbing, NOT a septic issue. When the plumber recluctantly came back I had to show him what Mike told us and then he found the clog. Being new w/ septic, it was comforting to know that a least we'd found an honest, knowledgable company in M & B to work with ( I wish we could say the same about the plumbers ) We highly recommend M & B Septic and would never use another company!
