The staff was very welcoming, the lobby area is decorated very cute. Checking in after all 6 laser sessions were completed. Most of the hair was gone in the Brazilian area except in inner/middle places. Went to get 3 touch ups at SpaDerma in Chicago since it's closer to me and OMG was it painful compared to the laser that InSkin uses. Also it didn't even seem to work except on the third laser treatment and there's still some hair growing back :(.Kinda sucks I thought that after 9 sessions all my hair would be gone.. I'm going to head back to InSkin for touch ups on the remaining hair and for a chemical peel now that I see they have a deal for one on Groupon. read more

When I needed touch-ups for my previously treated laser hair sessions I found this place and loved it! The staff is very friendly and explain things really well. I love the fact that they have the option of getting touch-ups at an affordable cost. I don't live in IL anymore, but whenever I go and visit I plan on using this service as it is not offered in many places in Richmond. I would have pay for the whole service again which Is quite expensive. Clean place and lovely set up they have. I used a Groupon for my underarm treatment and rarely need to share it. This service is something to be desired! I purchased a Groupon, and at my appointment they stated I could not use it because I had purchased/used one in 2017 ... therefore I was not eligible ! What ??? It's 2022 - I read the Groupon closely and there is Nothing that states first time users only ! Ok so I schedule an appointment go pay the outrageous $45 ... then I checked my email and there is a price quote of $35 in my email. They tell me that was a mistake but their prices had gone up ... then why did get email a day before my appointment with that price ?!?! I was not happy about the way I was being treated. So I am not happy because I felt cheated 2x. And because I challenged and questioned their pricing ... they had the nerve to tell me I couldn't return ! Clueless - why would I ever trust you ??? You don't have the power to tell me that because you are late to the party - I told the receptionist 2x already you lost a customer. But that happens sometimes when the mel​a​ninated lady speaks her voice. I was fair, friendly but firm ! I am a consumer and I have the right to question your pricing ... yes they gave me my $10 refund - after I had to send them screenshots of what they sent to my email - but it should not be this challenging. Before the pandemic the service was far better which is why I returned and been watching for a Groupon deal for this location which is close to home. But I imagine the staff has changed. I had been there many times in the past. My new experience was completely different! They seem to have gotten lost in being right verses rendering quality service. Great! seems to be working so far. Only reason for giving this place 4 stars is that they seem to nickel and dime a little more than the other laser places. For example if you buy a large area they will do only a portion of your leg... that doesn't seem to make sense. All I can say is WOW! I've been seeing Rocio and now her sister Elizabeth for laser hair removal since October. I started with six Brazilian sessions and started seeing results within the first one to two sessions. After six-sessions and a touch up, I can say that I am pretty much completely bare (depending if this last touch up killed the last few straggler hairs..still waiting since this was only a few days ago)! Shaving and razor burn is no more. The results of the Brazilian were so good, that I have now started laser-attacking my legs, with underarms to follow. Purchased a package for 6 sessions on a large area. I only wanted my cheeks and neck but they would not do neck without charging separately. I still opted to do neck. I went in for 5 sessions all about 1 month apart. Treatment seemed to be working well until I stopped going and now 2 months without going amd my face looks like it did before treatment? This is my second time doing laser on my face. First timr around I managed to go 2 years before having to go again but this time only 2 months. Something does not seem right to me. Oh, also, if you need to reschedule any appointment...better do it way in advance or they charge you to reschedule. Other than that, location is nice. I bought a Groupon for lower legs laser and had my first session yesterday.I did not feel the laser sting at all during my session. I am a little skeptical about seeing results.I have had laser before in different areas and know how laser feels - maybe the setting was too low? They said that because I only paid for laser on my face that they wouldn't laser my neck unless I paid them. This place is super transphobic. Don't waste your money!! Bought a Groupon for 6 sessions. I used 2 and then couldn't continue due to family issues for a year. When I tried to schedule appt I was told a manager would call me back. I called back 2 more times with the same response, but no call back from anyone. I finally got in touch with a manager by calling yet again and was told it had been too long since I redeemed Groupon. They were not understanding whatsoever to my family crisis. They refused to let me use the remainder of my sessions. I really never get on these sites to complain but I would encourage people to look elsewhere for laZer. Their lasers are so much more painful than other salons, they don't prep you with a shave, in fact they don't even have razors if you need to do a touch up, the office building is horribly unkempt (no towels or toilet paper in the restroom and when I told the receptionist she just said "we know"), and I wouldn't say the techs are bitchy, in fact I had one really nice one who was thorough and caused less pain, but there's no warmth...definitely an attitude, which who wants that in there salon experience? read more
