So first off.... I used to get my brows done all the time. I went a year without threading them and was dreading to get them done cause I know how bad it can hurt when you stop going for a bit. Let me tell you... this place is amazing. I don't just let anyone touch my brows cause you know... it's on your face and everyone sees them. The lady there was amazing and super friendly. She was super fast and very good at threading. They came out perfect and barely hurt honestly. I walked in with 1 Frida brow and left with 2 fabulous, symmetrical, and groomed brows. Love this place for eyebrow maintenance. Alway clean, friendly and never much of a wait. Also, it's easy to book an appointment on line. These ladies are skilled at what they do! Threading has always been my preference over waxing, it just leaves a cleaner line and doesn't irritate my skin the way waxing can. It is also less painful, in my experience. Although I have only used them for eyebrows, it appears they do beautiful Mehndi work as well. Maybe next time I'll get that done, too! read more

Extremely disappointed! Been getting my eyebrows threaded here for 3 years. Usually prompt service. Can't say the best eyebrow threading I've had but it does the job and pricing is reasonable. But what will always get me about a business is poor customer service. It clearly states on website and the signage printed on the door that salon is open til 8pm weekdays. I walk into salon at 7pm, door was open and the "OPEN" sign brightly lit. Lady at cash register looks at me and says "uh we are closed". I said oh the sign and website says 8. She said "no it's 7". Now I won't argue with you but change the damn sign and website. That's not hard! Should've listened to my gut feeling previously when I arrived at 11am on a Sunday when they are supposed to open and employee didn't arrive until 1130am. Make it make sense! Came here about a few weeks ago to get waxed & eyebrow threading. I have never had such a bad experience at a waxing/threading salon before. The lady who waxed me kept telling me the whole time that I had so much body hair... like yeah...that's why I am coming to your store to get waxed. She mentioned it like 10 times over the course of the half hour I was there. So rude. Also, they use BABY BUTT WIPES to prep your skin, which she only started doing halfway through my services when I asked for her to prep my skin. The worst part of it was at one point the wax strip literally fell on the floor and I was facing away so I thought she threw that strip out but no SHE USED IT AGAIN ON ME. I know because when I looked down at the strip she was applying on my arm it was the same one that fell on the floor, hair and who knows what else on it. I should've said something but this was like 5 mins before it was over and at that point, I was ready to get away from that place. Like I was so done with that horrible lady. I spent over a hundred dollars and that was the service I was given. I've gotten waxed at Walmart before and they had better customer service and cleanliness standards. I think I will make the drive just to come here until she opens the Oak Park location. ******** Updated review 4/23 Came in this time I got a Brazilian and my eyebrows done. I usually go to the city but after my esthetician left, I had no doubts about coming to Preeti. She uses the hard wax which is a life saver in the sensitive areas and then a green sensitive skin wax. I have extremely sensitive skin so threading doesn't feel amazing to say the least but the woman who was working on me was incredibly patient and kind. Amazing!!!! I needed a Brazilian wax and I randomly found this place online. They had the date and time available that I needed so I gave it a shot. It had been years since my last wax so I was really nervous! The lady (owner possibly?) was so sweet! This woman did such an amazing job I actually laughed throughout the wax! It turned out perfect. There were no patches left behind and it was painless. Most of all she made me feel so comfortable. Booking is really easy too. You can book online. I lucked out and she had a special for $45. The price is normally $65 and that's very typical and fair too! I'll be a regular here every month from now on. They offer facials and a few other services as well.
