The cookies/sweets at insomnia are a hit or miss. We tried the s'mores, cinammon bun classic, and the chocolate chunk brookie. The sweetest of the bunch was the chocolate chunk brookie. It was more cookie than brownie - it was hard but also extremely sweet. If you're not trying to lose your sweet tooth, avoid the brookie. The s'mores were good - super sweet still but manageable because of its gooey chocolate inside. The best was also the smallest cookie - the cinnamon bun classic - this was the right amount of sweetness and not nauseating to eat. Would come back to try their peanut butter cookie because they were out during my time of visit. Highly recommend the cinammon bun classic. read more

I was craving for a good chocolate chip cookie & this place popped up nearby. I got chocolate chip cookie to try & it came right out of the oven. It was warm gooey and chocolately. The cookie was good but not amazing. I still think one of the best chocolate chip cookie is from Levain Bakery! The guy server was friendly and nice. read more

There's a 20 cookies for $20 deal right now so I figured why not! I placed my order online for pick up and got there earlier than my pick up time. Luckily the store was empty when I got there and they started packing up my box. The store filled up soon after. The counter area for this location is pretty spacious in comparison to others and very clean and bright. Their anniversary deal is until Oct 31! read more

Very kind and friendly staff, even though I know they probably had to deal with a lot of nonsense on Halloween night. They gave me a free classic cookie since I was in a costume. I also bought one of the limited edition Reese's pieces cookies. Delicious cookies as always. Please bring a location to Queens! read more

My go to spot for cookies EVERY TIME. There's a special going on now until December 4th for a free cookie once you show the app in store only . I do my rounds (grocery shopping and laundry) every Saturday in the neighborhood and couldn't resist this special treat. Upon arrival as always I'm greeted by a friendly cashier, and the smell of fresh baked cookies. It's always spotless clean as well. It was not crowded and you get your cookies always fresh and always in a timely . The spot is small, but you definitely will not be in there for long periods of time as they move very fast . I picked up their famous s'mores cookie today. It's full of chocolatey goodness and marshmallows, served warm and oh so yummy. If ever your in the area and have a sweet tooth you should definitely stop in. They also have other locations in the tri state area. read more

A mixed experience to be sure. The white chocolate macadamia and double chocolate chuck are excellent, moist and gooey. However Oatmeal raisin was dry and the Snickerdoodle tastes like uncooked cookie dough. I'm sure their late hours add to its popularity. As the last day before I start my clean eating I figured I'd go out with a bang by having some Insomnia Cookies. I absolutely love the warm soft cookies served here. My favs are the Sugar and the Classic with M&Ms. These cookies are enough to satisfy any sweet tooth or craving. Just as the name implies, they are open till late. Perfect for late night munchies. I like how you are able to choose between purchasing individuals or boxes of assorted flavors of your own choosing. I will say that starting tomorrow I will miss these cookies. read more

Bought chocolate walnut coconut cookie, and received a red velvet and strawberry chocolate cookies for free. The former is 4.50 each. Yep you read that right! 4.50 for a cookie and it is not Levain Bakery.. Maaaan go to the grocery store buy your own cookie dough and add some walnuts to it. It's ridiculous in these streets. read more

We came here for dessert after eating around the corner and was so happy we did. We both got a cookie and ice cream. I got the dream weaver flavor which is interesting mlt purple but it is chocolate-y. The employee was generous and gave us huge scoops of ice cream. read more

This place has warm cookies. And they deliver. And they're open late. (These are good things.) They also have excellent marketing. I know this because my wife came home and said, "Did you see what opened up on Smith? A place that has warm cookies. And they deliver them! Late at night!" I thought, "That's awesome. But how do you know all this?"* And then later saw the window of Insomnia Cookies, which reads, "WARM COOKIES DELIVERED. OPEN LATE." Excellent marketing. Also, probably the best thing that could open up nearby, especially if you want to get super fat. But also super happy. I'm neither super fat, nor super happy,** but I could be both now that Insomnia Cookies is here. I would also like to report that the cookies are pretty tasty, in addition to being warm, and delivered late.*** I've only had the chocolate chunk and the oatmeal raisin thus far (I'm a classic kind of guy), but I'm never sad to get them. Warm. Delivered. Late. ________________ *My wife is not one to do research on local businesses. That's my role in our marriage. **I actually am pretty happy, but cookies make you happier. It's science. ***For me, late is like 8 pm. I have two children now, and if I'm awake at 3 am (when they close on the weekends) it's because I went to sleep, and was awakened by a problem that has to do with my children. Very bad service. We stopped in and the worker walked up front eating a cookie. I asked him for a 6 pack and he ignored me and started to fulfull an online order, no hello or can I help you. We left without ordering. Obviously do not appreciate walk in customers. Really need to do better. read more

It is dangerous having this place in my neighborhood. Even though it's fairly decent walk for me, I still manage to find myself stopping here to grab a cookie whenever I'm in the area. Which has amounted to a good 5 or 6 times in the past month, but who's counting? They have a variety to choose from, but the chocolate chip cookie is still my favorite. Warm, gooey, chocolatey (but not too sweet) goodness. There's one guy who works there who's awesome, and the rest of the workers range from friendly to barely tolerating me. But as long as I get my cookies, I'm good. read more

Ordered on Uber eats. Said would be delivered by 745 pm and at 849 pm still undelivered. Delivery guy said it was fault of insomnia who can't process orders and double up on orders. Won't order here again. read more

I came here to see what the hype was all about and honestly I didn't think they would be all that but I was hopeful. They're pricey I will say that but It turns out that I really did enjoy the cookie! I can only speak for the s'mores cookie. It was served warm and had a nice crisp (I don't like soft cookies) but over all it was pretty good. read more
