I had a great experience at The Good Batch while I was staying in Brooklyn during a recent trip to New York. I came in around 10am and ordered a cappuccino and a cheese & chive savory scone. The cappuccino was light, flavorful, and had a fluffy foam top. The scone was pretty nice, too. You could taste the cheddar and chives prominently and it was structurally sound, not crumbling to pieces upon biting it. The shop is small but has a handful of seats, and I was comfortable working on my laptop there for about an hour. The atmosphere is light, friendly, and easygoing. Nice baristas who are genuinely happy and eager to chat and share favorites. Before I left I ordered a cold brew to take with me on my long walk to Chinatown. I'm glad I did. It had a good body and was smooth and flavorful. It was the perfect item to carry along to Manhattan on a sunny day.

"I wash my hands of you." - Matthew 27:24 The male server/cashier visibly made this negative body language gesture projected against me to absolve oneself of involvement in a matter! I was blatantly dismissed after my order intake, payment, followed by receipt request with a rude scowl apathetic look. Why project an insolent attitude towards customers? Possibly ergophobia or social anxiety disorder to be surrounded by people? I exist. I matter. I am human. I am one life in the smallest measurement. "I exist as I am, that is enough." -- Walt Whitman By the power of observation, the next customer who went through the linear process of intake ordering, payment and waiting this same male server/cashier visibly made the same negative body language gesture again with disdain visible look. There is no reverence for customer service, but blatant insolent wayward behavior! Unfortunately, this male server/cashier appeared the sole worker on duty. Can this male server smile or nod to acknowledge customers' order request vs. "I wash my hands of you" vile negative body language? When requesting a printed sales receipt, it can only be either emailed or sent via text. Apparently, The Good Batch uses Square Register, a point-of-sale (POS) cashier register system as their paperless cash register, thus, no printed sales receipt will be printed but can only be either texted or emailed. I highly prefer Counterpoint as a functional and effective POS cash register for all retail brick and mortar businesses. The exterior appears to be a local, small quiet independent bakery business with a bakery glass display case loaded with various baked goodies accompanied with coffee. I entered with tempered expectations which was reduced to inhumane of near emptiness. This bakery offers British scones, but I have a strong predilection for American biscuits (either buttermilk or non buttermilk). There are ice cream sandwiches available. No comment for any as I did not purchase. Nota Bene: "Return Policy: All sales are final." Price is extortionate exceedingly high for mediocre baked pastries. Business cards are available for grabs which also appears much difficulties for this same male server. I refused to include this business card to my collection box. Backed by Giacomo C. and Michelle W.'s negative reviews, I agree 100% The Good Batch does not entice my interest for a return visit. The Good Batch, a bakery business is accessible via MTA NYC Transit C local train at Clinton-Washington Street subway station in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn followed by a reasonable walk. Chocolate chip cookie $4.00 It was hard and very bland. It was not sweet nor semi-sweet in any form. It was not worth the trek to Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, the negative body language for insolent wayward behavior, followed by the acquiesce email receipt request and the extortionate exceedingly high price. I exited dispirited with utter despondence. Bye, Felicia!

I accidentally came across The Good Batch and wanted to try their cookies. I'm a big Culture Espresso chocolate chip cookie fan, so I went in with tempered expectations, however, The Good Batch really surprised me specially on both its unique and traditional cookie flavors. The sleeper cookies I did not expect to love: Confetti - they nailed the simplicity but the cookie still has a full flavor profile. Toast jam -- the jam was a bit too spicy for me, but even still I couldn't stop eating it with its unusual salty/savory cookie base. So unexpected and I was surprised I enjoy it so much! The staff are wonderful, the shop is adorable. Support this local gem!!

The maple pecan scone for November 2025 is so damn good. They continue to make the best chai lattes (hot or iced) on this side of town. This is not up for debate! Service is always friendly but there can be a little wait from time to time.

Just had an absolute gem of an ice cream sandwich from The Good Batch Bakery and I'm still thinking about it... The OAT VANILLA FUDGE is on another level -- two soft and chewy oat chocolate chunk cookies, sandwiching a rich scoop of vanilla ice cream, with a gooey fudge drizzle right in the middle, and just the right touch of sea salt to make everything pop. It's sweet, salty, creamy, and a little messy in the best way possible. Pure dessert perfection. Brooklyn, you've got a real winner here. #TheGoodBatch #IceCreamSandwichGoals #BrooklynEats #DessertHeaven #FoodieInTheBigApple2025

Flavorful cookies in Brooklyn with a variety of options for all tastes Food: On a recent week night 15 minutes before closing, we snagged half dozen cookies and two ice cream cookie sandwiches. The ice sandwiches were really great the confetti cookie with sprinkles in the ice cream was devoured before it was done. It was just so flavorful. The peanut butter fully loaded ice cream sandwich really hit the spot too. Later the next day, we enjoyed our half a dozen cookies at home. There are so many flavors, confetti cookie, Virginian wedding cookie, toast and jam cookie, chocolate lava cake cookie, chocolates chip cookie, biggie buttercrunch cookie, Service: With a smile behind her mask, our server got us all of the cookies and we were out the door quickly. The store was open and bright. It is big location with tables and chairs giving it a friendly ambiance. Overall: I love this place and wish that I lived closer but will definitely get an ice cream sandwich the next time that I am nearby.

We haven't been to this location in person, but we did get the ice cream sandwiches at Prospect Park Smorgasbord. These ice cream sandwiches don't mess around. They are probably the best I've ever had! The ice cream is creamy and rich but the cookie still has integrity and is also flavorful! Great combo! Can't wait to try more!

don't get what the hype is about, sadly. the cookie was kind of dry/bland, the ice cream was creamy but nothing spectacular. def prefer a fresh baked cookie for an ice cream sandwich. was surprised these were pre packaged... service was nice though

Sometimes I just want a scone... and the Good Batch is the best fresh scone I've found in Brooklyn! The baklava scone is not too sweet, but I think a maple walnut description would be more accurate. While I would expect notes of honey and pistachio in a baklava-themed scone, the layers were still flaky and delicious. My friend got the everything scone and she said it was fantastic! The lemon poppyseed scone also looked yum. I believe the flavors are rotated in and out--would love to go back and try more! The seating area is clean, music is indie acoustic (when I've gone at least!), and it's a lovely spot for a weekend morning. No bathroom is the only con

The first time I tried the good batch it was at Smorgasburg probably over 5 years ago. Ever since then it's been a tradition of mine to have one of their ice cream Sammie's anytime I'm at the event. However, their brick and mortar offers items you can't get at their stall. This past weekend I had to stop in for their mango coconut sticky rice inspired ice cream sandwich. It was perfection! Chewy rice crispy treat cookies with black sesame (why aren't more ice cream sandwiches made with rice crispy treats?) a bright silky mango curd and a condensed milk ice cream that had a luxurious mouth feel. It was just what I wanted. The ambiance is very simple and clean. It showcases their cookies and the freezer holds their premade ice cream sandwiches. Pro tip: do not skip out on their counter top cake. The flavor is rotated often. It's always beautiful and really super delicious. I've been contemplating a cake from good batch for my birthday. The service is always very polite and friendly. 10/10 would recommend to any friend.

At the Smorgasburg food festival in Prospect Park, I stumbled upon the Good Batch. Crafted with precision and passion, this ice cream sandwich redefined the essence of indulgence. The aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies mingled with the irresistible allure of creamy vanilla ice cream, teasing my taste buds and igniting a sense of anticipation. The symphony of textures and flavors danced harmoniously on my palate with each decadent bite. The cookies, firm yet yielding, provided the perfect canvas for the velvety smoothness of the vanilla ice cream. Every mouthful was an exquisite balance of sweetness and richness, a testament to the artistry of its creators. What truly set this ice cream sandwich apart was its impeccable execution. The cookies, with their golden-brown exteriors and soft, chewy centers, exuded warmth and homeliness. Meanwhile, the vanilla ice cream, with its luscious creaminess and subtle hints of sweetness, enveloped the senses in pure delight. The stall was cute and the workers were very helpful! There is a menu besides the stall and it offers 3 ice cream sandwich options. They are $8 each.

Stopped in on a Sunday and the line was pretty short. Grabbed a bunch of treats to go: + Oatmeal chocolate chunk cookie - this was bad, skip + Buttercrunch cookie - good + Strawberry vanilla cake slice - amazing, 5 stars for that alone While the cookies were only so-so, the friendly service and incredible cake slice have convinced me they deserve a perfect rating. I will be back!!

I'm a sucker for sprinkles and that's what initially got me to walk into Good Batch! I love all the cookie options and they had a specialized Peach Cobbler flavor that they did in collaboration with another chef. Although I didn't try that one, I purchased the Confetti cookie, chocolate chip and the oatmeal chocolate. I was a big fan of the confetti and chocolate chip. The cookies are not hard or soft. They are right in the middle for people who are serious about cookie textures. I appreciate that the cookies are not super sweet which is hard to do with a confetti cookie. I'll definitely be back and they have a great deal of buying 5 cookies and getting 1 free. The cookies range from $3-$5/$6 dollars. There is seating inside and it's pretty quiet if you want to get some work done in there. They also have ice cream sandwich cookies which I have to go back to try because I love ice cream.

The space is relatively small, with a line inside and outside and a few tables outside. The length of the line and wait time varies based on the time of day and if you go on a weekday vs weekend. Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

It is so clear that they use incredibly high-quality ingredients and carefully curate each component, which is exactly why everything comes together in such an elevated way. The tomatoes reminded me of the ones I grew in my garden during California summers as a teenager. Perfectly salted, layered over soft, not-too-tart feta. The focaccia was made with beautiful olive oil and, while a bit chewier than I usually prefer, gave the sandwich a satisfying bite. I had to close my eyes while eating it just to savor it. The chocolate cherry almond croissant... wow. Such a creative combination, and it did not disappoint. Soft, buttery, and filled with a sour cherry compote that reminded me of a cherry cordial from a box of chocolates. 5/5. Hainsley, who helped me, was exceptionally lovely.
