Came In with a group of people of all paying customers. I fell and horribly scraped my knee and it was dripping blood. I kindly asked for soap and water or their bathroom to clean it. The manager came out with an attitude and said "you called me out to hear me say no?" Which wasn't what I was asking for. Tried to sell me a bottle of water before they finally gave me lukewarm water and napkins to clean up the blood. The manager was also in unprofessional attire. Horrible unkind service. If you have a public bathroom for paying customers you should expect them to ask for it especially in emergencies. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life. My boyfriend and I will never come back here again. We walked in and immediately could tell that there was a problem with the cashier. The two guys before us continued trying to order different items on the menu and the cashier kept saying that they were out. When it was our turn to order my boyfriend ordered a brookie and he said "we don't have those." We specifically come here for the brookies so my boyfriend said "can we wait for y'all to make some we don't mind waiting as that has happened in the past." The cashier goes "we close soon I'm not making more." Then after arguing with us for over a minute and literally putting his hand on his hip and rolling his eyes, he checks the oven right next to him and goes "yeah actually we have another brookie." So did you know the whole time you had a brookie? What is with the attitude when the whole time we've been so nice? I ask if there's a second brookie and he looks at me, once again rolls his eyes, and goes "no there's only one." My boyfriend asks if they have regular brownies "no we don't have ANY brownies." My boyfriend said "so what do y'all have" and he explained everything that he didn't have which included not only regular chocolate chip cookies but also triple chocolate chunk cookies. So, once again, my boyfriend said "I asked what y'all do have." And once again this awful cashier explained everything that they DIDN'T have. Do you even listen? At this point I was so tired of his attitude and blatant disrespect while we were literally just trying to order that I told my boyfriend that we need to leave and go somewhere else. So that's what we did and now we're at Whataburger. I am genuinely so shocked at the customer service and if the manager sees this you should look into genuinely firing whatever man with long hair and an awful attitude was working until close on the night of April 29th. Tried out insomnia tonight, not for cookies but for their ice cream! I got the caramel and the cookie dough and they really nice to try. I love how on the spot the ice cream is and I believe it would taste great paired with a cookie! Definitely recommend you out their ice cream on your next visit. read more

I have been a very loyal customer for 3 years. I ordered cookies that arrived to my house burnt and inedible, literally. Usually they are soft and gooey and actually fall apart. I have advocated for Insomnia Cookies over Crumble Cookies for years. I called the store kindly to rectify this issue with perhaps a new delivery or a refund. The phone was answered by a very rude, disrespectful, female with zero customer service ability, or problem solving skills. I asked to speak to the manager to which she snidely and arrogantly informed me that she was the manager. When I explained that I was a loyal customer and that the cookies were like sawdust and burnt as well as the chocolate itself,... she told me she was the only one there so she knew they WERE NOT burnt in a very nasty voice. I was flabergasted. The representive of the Company I have always loved and had advocated for was literally accusing me of lying. I wanted a new delivery, but I figured if she couldnt be accountable for her mistake then I couldn't trust that they wouldn't arrive burnt again! She didnt ask me if I wanted a new delivery- she just very inappropriately told me that she would refund my money. I tried to tell her that they truly were burnt and she hung up the phone on me midsentance intentionally. I got in my car with the box of cookies and drove 20 minutes to the store to show her the cookies that were burnt. She came out of the back with a hoody on, the hood itself over her head with both hands deep in her pockets to midthigh . Because nobody was at the counter upon my arrival I asked the only 3 young adults in there sitting at the counter - if these cookies looked burnt to them? The young man looked at them with a facial expression that obviously agreed and said, " Ahhhh", just as the employee walked out from the back. I put the cookies on the counter and opened the lid saying, ' Because she told me they aren't burnt, and I looked at her saying, 'Have at it', thinking she would have a look to see her mistake. she never looked at them while I was there. She kept her hands in her pocket, stood her ground and 3 times asked, "Did you get your refund, did you get your refund, did you get your refund? She was never accountable for the burnt cookies, never said I'm sorry for accusing you of lying. When I tried to tell her she needs to be accountable for her mistakes, her response was,"Im going to call the POlice". I called her and idiot several times on my way to the door because I wasn't going to be inappropriate and call her the things she really deserve to be called. I said have a nice day as I walked out of the door while she was supposedly reporting me. I am 60 years old,fresh out of a total, sacral, lumbar, thoracic cervical fusion. I just wanted some of my favorite Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies to enjoy with a cup of almond milk. A joyous occasion during a very difficult time in my life. Over the years I have ordered cookies somewhere between 40-70 times, possibly more. I recorded the interaction at the store on video. The entire experience was a traumatising interaction and highly uncalled for. Because of this extremely rude and nasty woman I will NEVER order from Insomnia Cookies again. Yelp gets it right. Two and a half stars. The other Yelpers complain about the service. I had perfectly fine service. But I AM complaining about the cookies themselves. They are nearly tasteless. The ice cream is Blue Bell. Insomnia is okay if you are looking for a sugar bomb and you don't care if has no flavor other than generic sweetness. But frankly - you know who beats Insomnia Cookies hands down? HEB. Or for that matter - Walmart. You want a better cookie? Get Pepperidge Farms. You want better ice cream? Get Haagen-Dazs. For the price of one Insomnia cookie, you can get a whole bag of Pepperidge Farms. The Haagen-Dazs will be a little more expensive than your scoop of Blue Bell from Insomnia. But you will get a whole pint. If I am going to pig out - more is more. If I am going to pig out - better is better. read more

Went here today for the second time and was not disappointed. The young man working was friendly and very helpful. I ordered the Lil Dippers and asked if I was okay with the 6 minute wait since they were in the oven still, I said that's no problem and ordered two additional cookies. When I finished paying, he said he would bring the cookies out to my car when they were finished. He had a big group of people come in right after me, so the wait was a little longer than 10 minutes, but what's a couple extra minutes when you get fresh cookies? He brought my order out and thanked me for stopping in. Props for this young man bringing a pregnant woman her cookies! read more

Horrible "Staff" that ooze the energy of not wanting to be there! They don't even greet you when you enter the Building, but instead, look at you like you're ruining their talking time. Walked into an empty store and an employee sleeping in the back. Since the employee was sleeping and did not see me walk in, I was not helped for 10 minutes. After traveling to places that had an Insomnia Cookies. I was super hyped finding that this place existed in my own town. Raving about it to friends after a birthday celebration tonight, I made it a "must stop" after telling them how awesome it was from the experiences I had in OTHER states. We walk in tonight, (Dec. 18, midnight) to a guy and lady employee working, who already seemed bothered by just the fact they had customers. Two friends ordered gluten free cookies, which they didn't have, which okay fine, not the problem. But when they went to order ice cream instead from the FULLY stocked ice cream bar, the guy employee looks over to the lady employee just standing in front of the ice cream area and says, "you're going to have to scoop it." Which she then turns to a willing paying customer, and replies "well then, our ice cream part is closed." Talk about LAZY customer service. I get being a mid age adult serving ice cream at midnight isn't ideal, but WHEN IT'S YOUR JOB, maybe do the gig you're paid to do or ...I don't know, maybe find a gig that doesn't involve interacting in customer service. Just a thought. If that's the type of customer service repping this place, then I'd rather eat a carton of cold, stale, Chips Ahoy then spend my dollar here. read more
