Watched the gentleman chop blue ice cream on the frozen slab, the next customer ordered a mint ice cream, the gentleman didn't clean the slab between orders. I don't know what their protocol is, but I'd be upset if it was my order. We took my family of 4 and spent close to $40+ just on ice cream. This is just too much for dessert. Other than that, it's good and there's plenty of options. I like the option to do a dipped cone and all that, but they nickel and dime you for everything. If you want toppings, it costs more on top of the already high-priced ice cream. I would rather just see flat rates for types of ice cream/cones and call it done, because a $10+ price for an ice cream cone is a lot. The service was nice enough. But I also saw a roach on the wall in the eating area. I get it, bugs can happen in the summer, but then the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, to the point I would never come back. Horrible service My wife and I went to this location with our 2 year old and new born granddaughters The young lady behind the counter ignored us while working on a drive through order. Then told us she had turned off the slab an hour ago before because they closed in 15 minutes. I asked is she was going to make our order and she said I was being rude and she was going to call the cops. She then went into the back and locked the door. I have no idea why she acted this way and I am sure she has justified her actions in her head but this was ridiculous behavior. I caution anyone to goto this establishment. Every time we come to this location the employees are not friendly at all. Also, I am not sure of the policies they have regarding sanitation, but they never have gloves on while scooping or mixing the ice cream. I come here occasionally and enjoy the creamery treats. They have have different flavors and inclusions such as nuts, chocolate chips, m&m chips and fruit pieces and the service is fast, they have seats in side and the walls are beautifully dexorated dining with different colors in stripes or bar form. It is very attractive and eye-catching view inside. However, the staffs do not know how to smile and be friendly to customers. The lady that served us run back to the kitchen after we checked out. She did not show us a welcoming face for a fraction of a second and she did not wish us a good day or ... nothing, just run away! That was so funny, there were only one group of people in the house already seated and there was nothing that possibly made the staffs busy. There was no reason to act weird. This is my absolute FAVORITE ice cream place in college station. The ice cream is super smooth and creamy, there is a great variety of flavors, and there is the option of unlimited toppings/mix-ins. The ice cream is home-made which is neat. It is a bit pricey for ice cream but nothing too crazy. The owners always seemed to be constantly changing but I think the current owner has stayed the longest yet and he seems pretty good. I used to always get chocolate swiss (sometimes I'll ask for birthday cake or sweet cream on the side) with whipped cream. Now I usually get chocolate birthday cake with whipped cream. Here's the thing, I loved Marble Slab growing up in the BCS. Many years ago this was the best ice cream shop in town but there are so many other options now. The ice cream here is pretty good and creamy. I personally like the classics like Sweet Cream and Chocolate Swiss. I just can't get past the price. It is so expensive and it seems pretty ridiculous that I paid over $13 for two ice creams. You can go to pretty much any other ice cream shop and pay significantly less. Also, I was disappointed in how trashed the place was. Now it is possible that only a few hours after opening the place was destroyed and no one had gotten around to cleaning it, but to me it felt like it was never cleaned the night before. The trash can in the bathroom was overflowing. There were also crumbs all over the floor and the trash can had a ton of dried up ice cream around the door. What can I say? I'm a huge fan of this chain. I was very disappointed with this location. I walked in and there were two girls working. One of them, who I think was the server, said hi and then walked away. The other one turned up the radio which was blaring some very heavy r&b. When I say heavy, I mean explicit and she was rapping along. I did not know who to ask for samples so I decided to just venture and pick something, pay, and get out ASAP. The first girl came back and I told her what I wanted. She started making it. The other girl was in and out the whole time and kept turning the radio station up and rapping along. If it wasn't for the fact that the facility sells ice cream, which is equivalent to love in my book, I would have given them 0 stars. Will I come back? Absolutely not. My husband and I came in and the long dark haired girl had a nasty attitude and the other girl employee laughed about it. Foremost if the stars were just for taste it would get 5 stars BUT the rude service deserved no stars. The ice cream is delicious and the best in this small town. Basically about 16 different flavors all home made and lots of fixings you can add from fruit, to chocolate to nuts the variety is great. They also have lots of waffle cones to choose from. I always try a new flavor but their best is the birthday cake with strawberry and cookie dough fix ins. Any way recently (yesterday April 28th at 5) the service was horrible. It was cold in Cstat so it wasn't very busy yet the girl looked at me and just rolled her eyes. Like " ugh I actually have to work for once today" she gave me a small amount of ice cream considering the big waffle bowl I purchased. She swiped my card and that was it. Upon entry there was no one behind the counter, it took about 5 minutes for these two young girls (one dark hair, one light hair) to come out and didn't even greet us with a simple "hello". I myself (a customer) had to greet them to even have them talk to us. As we ordered the ice cream, the young lady that was "helping" me (the darker hair) did not even ask what i would like OR EVEN LOOK AT ME. i had to continue talking to her, still not a word from her was said. The only thing (the dark haired girl) said to us was what the total of the ice cream was. Upon leaving, no "goodbye" or "have a nice day" was said by the other two young girls. My wife's has chocolate with raspberry mix-in and surprisingly the raspberry overpowered the flavor. Still a price place, plus only had one worker working on a Sunday at a busy time, so it took a while to get our ice cream. This coupon was sent to me by marble slab for being a loyal customer and was for $5 off. I finally went to use it yesterday after a long hard day and they refused to use my coupon. Their ice cream is creamier than other ice cream places. I love almost every single one of their products. However, the staffs at this location did not do their job. I went there with my bf. After we got our orders, we decided to eat inside. Then, all staffs went to back so no one was at the desk. Then, a customer came in, waited for 5-10 minutes and no staff show up. Rude service, got the small in a cardboard cup. They didn't give rounded scoops. They leveled it off even with the bowl. I had asked for a waffle bowl but ended up with a cardboard cup.
