    iced lavender latte
    Christy L.

Gogh Gogh holds a special place in my heart. It's kind of a complete circle story for me. When I came to college station for my sister's graduation, I was in search of a coffee place. I stumbled upon gogh-gogh and ordered my standard iced lavender latte. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coffee and espresso were both up to my standards and I thought it was a very cute and good coffee shop in the city.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Fast forward a few months, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ended up studying for my medical school board exam in college station, and Gogh Gogh ended up becoming one of my safe havens and go-to study spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I spent many 10 hour study days here and the coffee shop has seen me go through all 5 stages of grief from studying (honestly, not being dramatic). I believe the coffee shop is owned by Christian owners because they play a lot of christian music that helped to keep me grounded throughout my study days. The owners and baristas are all extremely nice as well! Regarding the coffee, all of their drinks and decent with overall good espresso taste. I ordered the raspberry white chocolate and the lavender latte many times and they were all solid drinks to order. Overall, love this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a lot of tables inside for studying, work, and even saw many groups doing bible studies![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    The team did!

Rich, bold coffee packed with flavor and caffeine - just what I needed! But even better than the coffee was the incredible team of staff and helpers who truly saved the day. I ventured out for the first time with my 3-month-old granddaughter. After several kind customers tried (and failed) to help me open the stroller outside, the amazing team at Gogh Gogh's stepped in. With determination and teamwork, they tackled the challenge that had stumped everyone else -- and didn't give up until they got it open! Huge thanks to the wonderful staff and friends at Gogh Gogh's. You made my day so much easier, and I'll definitely be back -- both for the coffee and the kindness.

I came into town from Houston for a quick coffee stop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is great and I can definitely recommend this place to read a book or do some homework since it has lots of space with many seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The barista was friendly, but unfortunately, I will have to toss this cold brew out, which breaks my heart. I don't taste the coffee, I taste only syrup and milk. There is no balance between the three. If there was less syrup, this coffee would have probably been better.

The food is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is amazing. Such a sweet family and they do go above an beyond to make you feel welcome.

Interior: The space has cute Van Gogh inspired paintings on 2 walls and a good amount of seating. Price: We spent a total of $13 on a medium iced latte, a muffin, and a croissant. We are used to California prices for coffee so $5.75 for an iced latte wasn't a shock, though it was more on the pricey side compared to other local coffee shops. Latte: I ordered the Starry Night-- the flavor was good, though a tad on the sweet side. The flavoring overpowered the espresso for the most part; so, though my drink tasted delicious, it was more of a slightly coffee-flavored chocolate milk. Food: My husband ordered the chocolate croissant and said he would give it a 2/5. It tasted like it was made with milk chocolate as opposed to semi-sweet which made it really sweet. If you like milk chocolate you would probably enjoy this pastry; however, my husband prefers semi-sweet and I prefer dark chocolate. On the flip side, I ordered the Blueberry Lemon Parfait Muffin and I would definitely order it again. The muffin wasn't dry and the lemon flavor really came through. What makes it different from a regular muffin is the creamy filling in the middle. Overall, I would recommend Gogh Gogh Coffee, but be aware that the lattes are very sweet.

It's the most delicious latte in this area. Iced latte tastes better than Hot latte.

Gogh Gogh Coffee Company off Hwy 6 was a great quiet place to get work done. I got the pink and white energy drink which was quite sweet and had lots of caffeine in it. I'll be back here!!

We had a latte with an extra espresso for our drive home to Magnolia. The blueberry lemon parfait muffins were too good! Moist, lemony with a light cream in the middle. Friendly service, great atmosphere!

I visited this coffee lounge today for the first time this afternoon and really enjoyed my time there. The location was right next to the fitness club (Planet Fitness) I worked out at this morning, there was ample parking, good location in College Station (Texas A&M country!), the outside of the place was interesting & simple, catchy name, I was welcomed upon entering, the employee who took my order was friendly and polite, the coffee & egg, sausage, and cheese croissant were delicious and reasonably priced, plenty of seating (social distanced, a good vibe in the place, clean dining room, many beverage and food choices, many available power sockets, bright because of many windows, two big rooms, and very good WiFi. When I was leaving the young woman employee behind the counter wished me a blessed day! Love it!

I found Gogh Gogh Coffee right off of Route 6. I took advantage of the drive-through, which was just a hand-written menu beneath the glass. Gogh Gogh did NOT have iced coffee, so I settled for a medium cold brew (16oz) with cream and vanilla syrup. Unfortunately, my drink was $5 even, which I thought was a bit pricy for a 16oz drink. The man who took my order was very friendly and I was served in a timely manner. Due to COVID-19, I did not get to see the inside of the coffee shop. Overall, the coffee at Gogh Gogh is decent, but certainly not worth $5.

Nut allergy friendly - Love that all of their allergens are labeled on the pastries!…read more Time to order: 3 minutes with no one ahead of us? We got here at 9:15AM on a Saturday and it was relatively empty, a few people studying. Not much parking but it doesn't seem to need too much. The lemon poppy seed bread was really good (5/5). Perfect texture, would never guess that it's gluten-free. Spongy but moist, not grainy at all. The coffee was relatively forgettable but all of them did have strong hints of the syrup that was added. I had a drip coffee with honey syrup and it was decent, not too sweet. My partner's cold brew was very strong in the lavender syrup she got. I'd come back for the pastries alone and it's a nice little study spot.

I can easily see this place getting incredibly crowded during the school year. Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge letdown. The iced mango cloud matcha was super watered down and lacked that vibrant green color. It tasted mostly like milk and a hint of mango (which wasn't too sweet), but had barely any actual matcha flavor. The iced macchiato was also extremely milky. It tasted like straight milk with a tiny splash of coffee that you couldn't even taste. On the positive side, we stayed until 4pm and found that the crowd cleared out around lunchtime. It became a much better, quieter environment for working in the afternoon. Our verdict is to avoid the milky drinks. It's a decent spot to work during the summer in the afternoon if you need quietness, but we won't be returning.

We ordered and sat like everyone else. Received our food after the two groups behind us who ordered well after us got theirs. Most were Veterans so I appreciate that and would hope this was the reason. Once our food was dropped the server asked if there was anything else and I said I'd take a refill of coffee (empty). As I observed the room, the tables around us were getting really attentive service. Refills galore, conversation... I had to go to the counter to refill my coffee as I saw a server walk past our table and refill the cups at the window while ours remained empty. I got up, walked past all the servers and went to the counter where I got my first cup of coffee. After a while without anyone checking on us (again, all other tables were getting some really good 5 star service) I went to the counter to get a refill of water (empty) and a young girl who I overheard said she just graduated from high school stopped me and asked if I needed a refill. She was your bright spot. The rest of the staff just stood talking as u walked past them. It wasn't even busy. As I saw tables about to leave they were offered a cup of coffee to go. Thanked for coming in and probably would give 5 stars on a review. I made eye contact to the middle age female server and she quickly looked away. So did another young server who I saw refilling coffee. My previous review of here was 5 stars. I recommended coming here because this is our second time and my first was outstanding. Not playing the card, just the facts. We are the three Asians on the 4 top next to the booths by the kitchen entrance. Watch the entire service. I have a rule that if I really like a place I'd go back and even buy a shirt if available. I bought a shirt after my first visit but I'll holster the shirt. I'm huge on loyalty and sorry to say, this was lost. We left the cold, unwelcoming restaurant without any one of your staff saying a word. Not the type of place I'd return to. I hope this review is useful and hope this is a one off and I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. ***update*** The operations manager reviewed the video with the owner and quickly reached out to me directly. They agreed with my assessment and said they immediately addressed the issue with their staff. Doesn't change what happened but pleased to hear they care and will take corrective action when needed. They offered to refund my bill. I declined as I am just thankful they swiftly dealt with my concerns.
