Just what my sweet tooth needed. I got the vegan birthday cookie + sugar cookie, and also the cookies and cream cookie (my favorite out of the three) it was warm perfectly chewy and just slightly crunchy on the edges. I WISH they had vegan ice cream! Even a standard vegan vanilla bean! PLEASE! Think about use dairy intolerant people! And the vegans

I was lucky to snag a front row parking spot in a 10-minute loading zone, so I could quickly run inside. There was no line when I entered, and the girl at the register was very helpful in making decisions about what cookies to try. I got the cookies and cream and double chocolate chunk cookies, both of which were warm, soft, and sweet. The inside of the shop is connected to a larger building, but it was quiet and empty when I went on a Tuesday around 6:30pm.

Ah, Insomnia Cookies. There's definitely a nostalgia factor for me. When I was in college, Insomnia Cookies was on campus. It was always tough to resist a late-night snack. To my surprise, as I walked to PHX Arena, I stumbled upon Insomnia Cookies. While I didn't have time to make a pitstop as my event was starting soon, you know what happened. I stopped by after the show. Service (4/5): Service isn't a big part of the experience. You order at the counter, you get your order right there, and you can either dine in or take it to go. Quick and easy. Ambiance (3.5/5): This location has a modern look to it and a decent amount of seating, both inside and on the small patio. The cookie shop is attached to a skyscraper, so you can also sit inside the building if you would prefer (which is what I did). Drinks (N/A): Cookies only for me on this visit. Food (3/5): To my surprise, Insomnia Cookies has expanded its offerings since I was in college. They have more cookies, and they even have ice cream. Since it was relatively late, I kept it simple: I went with the triple chocolate chip specialty cookie. If you order a specialty cookie, that means it's going to be a bit more expensive. And their cookies aren't cheap. But they are served warm, which is always next level when we're talking cookies. Here was the problem. The ends of the cookie were overcooked. So instead of that perfect soft chewiness and melted action you get on a perfectly baked cookie, this one was hard on the outside. The interior was still good, but some of the cookie wasn't up to standard. Which, for a business like this, is clutch. Maybe how the cookies are baked is a wild card, but nonetheless, it is tough to say no to warm cookies.

This was my first stop into Insomnia and we really enjoyed it! Would I say the best cookies ever..no but they were really good and priced great. I was hoping to try their 3 limited time flavors but they were out of all 3. Bummer!! I went with the deluxe 4 pack where you can mix cookie and brownie flavors. Our favorite was the chocolate chip brownie and salted caramel deluxe cookie. They were served warm as well. I would definitely stop in again if I have a sweet tooth!

Stopped by after jury duty to try the vegan cotton candy ice cream that's is pictured on the app and the vegan fried ice cream cookie. They did not no longer had the ice cream but the cookie was available. The counter person was kind in telling my options and I got some fresh baked cookies to go. This is a great cookie spot that is definitely needed in downtown Phoenix

The Cookie Monster got to my cookie before the picture!! This cookie was so good! Not too overly sweet which is hard to find sometimes. I never liked crumbl cookies for that reason. There's a nice selection to choose from and between the m&m cookie and the confetti cookie, I opted in on the confetti. I had no regrets! Crispy edges and warm center. Perfect way to top off my dinner. The cashier was suggestive and very patient. The group before us took soo long to order, kept changing their order and ran in circles with him and he stayed calm and collected. Kudos to you! The shop has a small sitting area and your choice of drinks in a separate fridge. They are open late which is awesome!

First time here and it was great! Cute little spot with mostly outdoor seating. We ended up ordering a brookie with ice cream and it was a good mixture especially with the fresh, warm brookie!

I absolutely love this location! The cookies are always so moist and fresh. I am always welcomed and greeted by an employee. The location is very clean. 10/10 recommend this location! PS MY FAVORITE COOKIE IS THE CONFETTI DELUXE

The entrance was a little confusing since what appeared to be their main door was locked but another entrance leading into a lobby area with a second entrance for them was open. Other than that the employees were kind and quick. And we love their cookies, they were tasty and warm as usual. Coming here always reminds us of living in NC and making a late night trip for cookies after a day at the beach so the nostalgia might make us a little bias but we'll definitely keep coming back here.

We were having a day out downtown & decided to order cookies as treat via Ubereats pickup on Sat Jun 1st before 5p. We were confused right away because the door outside was locked & the sign was not on. We were thinking Insomnia was closed but saw a person walk out w/ cookies through another entrance. We found the building to the entrance of Insomnia, placed our order via the Ubereats app & went inside to pickup our order. I noticed right away this location is very small because all you see when you walk will be the menu, ice cream, register & seating area. We have been to their other location in Milwaukee, WI which is bigger & cookies are on display as well as the ice cream selections. Once we walked in; the employee came out from the back & grabbed our order. Our cookies were so delicious. A tip to make sure the open sign is lit up & also have a sign on outside of the door if it's locked so customers are aware to go to the other entrance.

This place was good. I got the ice cream on a deluxe cookie. The cookie was a s'mores cookie with the cookie dough ice cream. The cashier was nice but it was only them and it was busy. There was only outdoor seating but it was hot out so that wasn't an option. This location was in a building and there was seating in that lobby.

For that late night sweet cravings, these are the perfect choice! The cookies are freshly baked and were still warm and the chocolate chunks were very gooey. If that sounds like your perfect kind of cookie, then you won't really have a wrong flavor choice. It is a small ish location with a small team and they did such an amazing job because it was a busy post-concert rush and they were bombarded with orders but they did it so well I was very impressed by them. I also got some scoops of ice cream because honestly, the cookies are just perfect for them!

    Double chocolate chip me please!!!

The cookies are delicious and warm!!!! The staff was very polite and the price was just right!

There is a nice variety of sweet treats, and the service provided by the team inside the truck was stellar. One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. It's smooth, rich without being too heavy, and the flavor actually develops as you eat it instead of just being one-note sweet. You can tell they take this part seriously. Leave it outside the fridge for an hour and watch that cheesecake melt on your tongue crystals (if you have the patience for that) Their rotating monthly flavors keeps things interesting, and you're not just stuck with the same lineup every time. Out of what I tried, the banana pudding one was easily a standout--super nostalgic, creamy, and just done right without being overly sweet. The coconut one was also up there, more subtle but still really clean and flavorful. Love me some coconut! They also have a punch card system--buy 9 slices, get the 10th free--which is a nice touch. It lowkey turns into a mission because once you've tried one flavor, you kinda want to work your way through all of them anyway. Now...the downside. The customer service just isn't great. For a place that clearly puts effort into their product, you'd expect at least a baseline level of hospitality, and it's just not really there. So overall, if you're going to Banhams, go for the cheesecake. The rotating flavors keep it fresh, the quality is legit, and it's definitely worth trying. After reading reviews and considering our options, we were really looking forward to this experience. When we arrived, we were excited by the variety of flavors and the over-the-top presentation. Unfortunately, once we started looking more closely at the products, we became concerned. The ice cream in the freezer appeared extremely soft and partially melted, and we noticed significant condensation around the cookie dough/batter. It did not give the impression that the products were being properly maintained or stored. The milkshakes certainly LOOK impressive, but once we actually tasted them, the quality was very disappointing. The ice cream did not have the creamy consistency or quality I would expect for the price. It tasted like inexpensive, low-quality ice cream, and the whipped cream was also warm rather than cold and fresh. At that point, it felt like we were paying primarily for the presentation, jar, toppings, and "wow factor" rather than quality ice cream. I also noticed packaged items such as Chips Ahoy cookies, brownies, and sugar cookies being used as toppings, with some of the original store packaging visible. There is nothing inherently wrong with using packaged products, but when the actual ice cream isn't high quality, it becomes difficult to justify the price. The most concerning part of our visit, however, was what happened with an employee. One employee arrived wearing what appeared to be pajamas and had a kitten/cat on her shoulder. She took the cat toward the back and later was behind/near the register preparing drinks while she and another employee were interacting with the cat around the food and snack area. Seeing an animal being handled in an area where food and food-service items were being prepared was extremely concerning. As a customer, I should not have to wonder whether pet hair or dander could be getting near food. For anyone with a cat allergy, this could be especially concerning. Once I saw this, I stopped eating my milkshake altogether. I sincerely hope the owners or management take this review seriously. The staff need proper training, and the food-storage, cleanliness, and food-handling practices should be carefully evaluated. A fun atmosphere and impressive presentation can only go so far. Quality, cleanliness, and proper food handling should always come first. We went there expecting a memorable dessert experience with our kids. Unfortunately, the experience was memorable for all the wrong reasons. My recommendation: save your money and look elsewhere. We spent $81 on this visit.
