A friend told me about this place, and I was in the area today so I decided to check it out for myself. They have a bit of everything here, vinyl toys, video game stuff, concert posters, artwork, even a selection of LP's (which my friend neglected to tell me about!). Also some Japanese Pocky, candy and drinks. Very cool store with nice staff. If you are into this soft of thing...this is the store for you!

Awesome Vinyl Store, people walking in with bottles of wine and beer getting all drunk to play some video games, it was a first but hey why do it any other way. A lot of kidrobot, dunny, different toy brands. He doesn't carry Bwana Spoons which is my favorite and one of the most famous artists especially in New York, they do have a lot of locally made items which are okay but it looks like I could goto Hobby Lobby and make what they made, sorry lol. However they have tournaments, and the coolest is the custom art on the wall which is made locally which I love. This place is legit and I'm proud Houston has a store focused on Vinyl Toys.

My fiance and I had been wanting to visit this place since it first opened a few weeks ago (heard about it from a friend who linked me to their facebook page) and even though the business is just getting started the store looks great and has many awesome products! The owner was working when we went and was very nice and helpful and greeted us and other customers who walked into the door. The store was organized, clean and had awesome figures, posters, vinyl toys and plushies(two of which were our first purchases..yay Tako!) as said in their description. They also have things like wall scrolls, Japanese snacks, art for sale from I believe local artists and space invader pillows (we need to come back for some of these, lol). I really like that they hold game tournaments as well. I only know of two other places in Houston that do this, and those are strictly game centers. The only thing I would change is the time they close. When I first heard about them and their name "Insomnia" I thought they would be open until 12am or so, but sadly they are only open until 7pm everyday except Sunday. I asked the owner about this and he said maybe when they get more established he might change the times, lets hope! =D It would make it easier for my fiance and I to make it out there more often. ;) (we live in katy=( ..) Its nice to have a store like this here in the Houston area, I hope Insomnia thrives and prospers!

Such an exciting store! My boyfriend loves it here! It's right across the street from Fat Cat!So everytime we visit Fat Cat we always come here. I honestly lose time in this store. I have my eyes set on the 8"tall Sriracha Dunny. Or the gigantic gold dunny on top of the shelf. I need to save money before I can afford dunny. They have video games you can play, tournaments, special events, non-sport trading cards, mini figurines, kidobot, scaredy Labbit, super mario figures, stuffed plushies, puzzles, tshirts, and more. Every Thursday is fight night from 7pm -2am. You can play Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs. Capcom, Tekken Tag, and much more. It's BYOC!! Every Fridays is free play day from 7pm-midnight. Various games like fighting games, smash bros, melee, classic games and more. They also play movies. Every Saturday are special events or tournaments. Most tournaments are $10. Events schedule is online on their website or their FB page. Go check it out!

We don't. If you're a local artist looking to sell artwork, check out the ARTISTS page on our website! If you are a private collector, I'm not sure what route would serve you best. Cheers!… Read more

Oh, The Galleria! My ex-husband is from Houston and I've…read morebeen to The Galleria many, many times. In fact, I started going long before I knew my husband. My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

Shopping can be hit or miss, and on this particular day, it was definitely a miss. My friends and I…read moreare dedicated bargain shoppers, and despite our best efforts, the Houston Galleria wasn't giving up any deals. With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.

I chose it for the location, the vibe, and the size, and it exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere there is relaxing and soothing, and from the moment guests arrived, it invited celebration, creativity, and connection. As someone who does not always feel comfortable being celebrated, this space made it feel natural and joyful. Bisong Art Gallery is a dream for art lovers. The setup was thoughtful, elevated, and beautifully curated. Every person I spoke with commented on how much they loved the space, and the event felt unforgettable in the best way. I also deeply appreciate being able to support a Black-owned business and celebrate alongside women who are creating spaces like this with excellence and intention. We kept the menu fun and elevated with appetizers made from my favorite comfort foods, including burgers and hot chicken, mac and cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, salads, and more. It complemented the space perfectly. Huge shout-out to the photographer who captured the night so beautifully. This venue helped make a meaningful moment feel timeless.
