Finally able to make it to Inspira Coffee Truck. It is in the Valero lot on the corner of Crenshaw and Space Center. I could have ordered ahead but we brought our dogs so I didn't mind the 7 minute wait. It was surprisingly busy on a Sunday afternoon. My brown sugar and butter latte as fabulous!! Their syrups are all house made which I always appreciate. A couple things to note, they only offer one size and I did not notice a decaf option. They have other fun combinations so I will definitely be returning soon. Yum, yum, yum!!!!!!

I was so happy when one of their TikToks crossed my page and I saw they were close to my work! I drive over an hour and made the stop this morning to see if it wouldn't be too far out of my way....and it wasn't! Easy off and on the beltway and the barista was so nice! I got there right when they opened and was able to talk to her what I normally get and it was delicious! Three shots over extra ice, splash of milk, and their toasted almond syrup. It was so dang good. The truck is beautiful and they offer to go lattes that I might grab next time for my afternoon pick me up. I will be stopping by weekly.

Since the first time my fiance and I tried inspira , we have been hooked ! We loved the coffee itself but the vibes of supporting a small business and the owner and employees are all very welcoming so that just makes it feel more like home . All the flavors we have tried have been good ! And we love the unique season flavors they offer as well ! Highly recommend to everyone

Overall, I was pleased with my latte. I got the Mia Latte which I was told was their most popular latte. It had good flavoring but could've been a touch sweeter, but that's personal preference! The workers were very sweet and welcoming and overall it was fast service. They have a good assortment of flavor add ins so I look forward to trying some of those out. I really like the idea of a coffee truck because it felt more "come and go" style. I would return and look forward to trying other drink options!

Letting y'all know what I think of the winter menu. First off this winter menu had me coming back over and over again. Going to list my #1 Favorite to least. 1. Spiced Apple Latte - if you were surprised as I was then you know this was damn good. Generally I'm not one for apples in my drink but then had a really good spiced apple mimosa at a brunch, which has me trying apple drinks before dismissing them. So, glad I tried it! It was the perfect amount of apples with apple pieces. I ordered it hot and with oatmilk. The taste is amazing and not overwhelming. 2. Brown Sugar & Butter Latte - this was my number 1 then I had the spice apple latte and well you read the results. If you love brown sugar and/or butter then this is the drink for you! I definitely tasted the brown sugar and butter, which made an amazing combo. Again, they do a great job of not making the drinks overly sweet, taste exactly like the name, but also keep the coffee profile in it. 3. Almond mocha latte - by all means, this is not a bad drink. I'm just not a fan of chocolatey/mocha drinks. If you are then this drink is definitely for you. Can't wait to try out their regular menu and let you know my thoughts. Also, save the earth and bring your own mug=)

Inspira (in-speer-uh) is a part of our weekly routine. Yes, for us it's local, but even if it wasn't we would travel. Anytime my husband and I think, let's try a new coffee shop! ...we regret it. No shade to the awesome roasters all around Houston. But Inspira is undefeated in deliciousness, quality ingredients, and kindness. The people that run this business and prepare our drinks are so nice and treat the customers like old friends. All-time favorite flavors include Vanilla Bean, Brown Sugar Butter, Maple Bourbon, and the Dirty Chai. Their espresso classics like a capp or cortado are technically perfect. Everything is housemade or sourced for goodness and you can tell with one sip. 1000 stars for my faves.

Vanilla lavender latte with oatmilk! So so yummy!

Stop by once or twice a week. If I stop by once I get 2 or 3 bottles of the toasted vanilla latte with oatmilk. This week I stopped by on Monday and the one bottle I bought I took it to my cousin and she loved it. So I stopped by the following day and purchased two bottles and like usual a vanilla lavender latte with oatmilk to have on the way home! I love their service and their staff!

Now I go to A LOT of coffee shops. I am also a little skeptical of coffee trucks. However, this little place is by far one of the best quality coffee places I've found in houston. The drink and flavor options are unique compared to most places. The brown sugar and butter latte is literally sooo good and is different than anything I've tried. The espresso quality is also top tier. Most importantly - this place has a lot of love. The owner Justin founded this truck with passion and little resources, and has a very respectable story behind it. The employees working the truck are always so friendly and remember their customers. This is truly a gem. Tbh it's really worth the drive to try their unique drinks. Please support this place!!

I tried the iced Ube Latte. It was unique and very good. A bit sweet but balanced with the espresso. I would absolutely get this again.

Other places operate as a cart or a truck, but El Borrego is operating out of full fledged bus in a church parking lot. With bright lights and more parking spaces, people flock here more than the rest of the competition. Just sitting in the lot and observing will see plenty of in and out traffic, as appetites and people are buzzing at all hours of the night and day. They even have a handwashing station, which is pretty awesome. Overall, the food is solid. While I've been known to rock a barbacoa and chicharron taco here and there, I especially appreciate the fact they have carne deshebrada (shredded meat), molleja (sweetbreads), longaniza (spicy pork sausage), and milanesa (breaded cutlet) meats. Between 5AM-11AM daily, they also offer breakfast tacos. Site note: I appreciate that they have a handwashing station, despite not having any place to sit (#2). There are also Mexican style hamburgers, piratas + gringa super tacos, tostadas, gorditas, sopes, burritos, and quesadillas. They all have a place for cravings sake, but don't supplant what's available taco wise. A woman constantly shouting orders from the window of the truck. This is 100% part of the experience and should be embraced at all costs. That being said, a lot of people are still confused because they can't (always) understand what she's saying. At $2.50 for corn, $2.75 for flour tacos, it has become standard pricing in the area. It's not the cheapest or the tastiest tacos, but seeing as other competitors have masked their prices, I am appreciative of the transparency. Charro beans are no longer offered for free, at $1 a cup. It is strictly cash only. With bright lights and more parking spaces, people flock here more than the rest of the competition. It is cash only. They get a point for consistency and another nod for longevity, which says a lot in a place that is as saturated as Houston. __________ (#1) For locals arguing noting Taconmadre, they've since become a full fledged restaurant with a drive-thru. They had Korean spicy tenders and fries, unique burgers and chicken sandwiches, and more, and when you consider all of this, the prices aren't really "pricey." The purpose is to provide a quick meal, but with a new twist-- that's what makes a place successful! Service was great as well, my Chicken Sandwich and Fries took no more that 5-10 minutes, and was hot and fresh. With all said, what I'm about to say is what made me promise to write a review: At my school, we were having a field day for 8th Grade c/o 2030, when two people were playing basketball and bumped into me and dropped my food. I was frustrated because I had just bought it, but forgave them because I know they didn't mean it. I had went back outside and the guy was just about to leave soon when he asked if I was ordering, then I had told him what had happened, and without hesitating, he made me another. This was a true act of kindness, and the food was very delicious! Shout out to the owners and cooks for great food and service! No specific decor as it was a food truck. With all said though, Foreign Policy is a great food truck for a quick, delicious, and unique meal, the money is worth it, and service is amazing, thank you!

My apartment often has "Food Truck Thursdays", and this time, they had Foreign Policy…read more I almost forgot about it, but we get email reminders. They usually include the menu, but I didn't see one, so I went on their website and Yelp for menu/food photos. I need to see what I'm eating. Very much a visual eater. I also like to prep what I'm ordering. I like the Asian, American, and Mediterranean options. Oh and a Latin dessert. I was torn between the gyro and Korean fries. I love fries and Korean bbq, so I went with the Korean fries. I love that they used crinkle fries. It was a little drenched too much with queso that pooled at the bottom of the container. With all the queso, sauces, and Korean bbq flavors, I wanted the fries to balance out the saltiness. When I got home, I moved the fries to a different container to preserve some of the fries. Don't get me wrong, I love queso, and theirs is really good, but it was a little too much. Maybe if it had been spread onto a larger container to even out, it would've been better. My apartment gives discount vouchers, first come, first serve. They were giving out a $10 voucher which pretty much covers a meal. I got there earlier before they handed it out, so I paid for the fries. I thought they already passed out the 10. The assistant manager saw me and handed me one when I walked back in the building. So, I came back later for the churros and caramel sauce for dessert. The portions are a good size. I saved half my fries to save room for dessert. The churros were nice and warm and filled with dulce de leche, I believe. The caramel sauce was delicious to dip the churros in. The wait for the Korean fries and churros separately was about 5-7 minutes. Not bad. There was one person cooking and one taking orders. I enjoyed their food. The pricing is average for a food truck. I hope they are asked to come back sometime in the near future or if I see them at some event to order it again or try something else. Check them out if you see them around!
