If your employer selects Inspira, you have my sympathy. I suspect that they essentially STEAL $ by blocking employees' ability to spend their own HSA funds. In other words, Inspira blocks you from paying your legitimate health bills with every imaginable inefficiency and administrative run-around. Then, you end up not spending the money (spending your taxed income instead). Then they KEEP your money, likely sharing your stolen money with your employer. If I could give zero stars, I would. When Inspira took over PayFlex, I lost access to my account information online. I created an account using my personal information, and it said I have no active accounts, which is incorrect. When I call in using my personal information, I can get my account balance. There is something wrong with linking information in the website. I submitted an online help request 2/8. I received an email back the next business day confirming I do have an account, but then they requested some additional details. I provided the details same day. Fast forward to today (2/13), I received an email saying that I need to call or SUBMIT A TICKET VIA THEIR WEBSITE, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT I DID TO BEGIN WITH. I have currently been on the phone with them for 23 minutes and SO FAR "Sherry" has been unhelpful. She just told me she was GOING TO CREATE A TICKET. I do not recommend Inspira. they are the worst. it took me 1 month and 4 phone calls to substantiate a dental claim. I followed everything they asked by submitting a receipt and copy of dental claim. they spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with my dental office. claim was for about $3100. the one time I asked for a supervisor. they were all busy. she called back 6 days latter. their customer service is in India and they do not understand their business. they still owe me $100 from 2023 because of a credit posted last minute and they refuse. I wrote a letter to their CEO filing an official complaint more than 2 weeks ago. yet to hear back. they are not following federal government CFPB regulations. next stop is to file a complaint with them. read more

It's a part time job to get them all of the documents to cover my medical expenses; otherwise, I am paying it back. I have to provide a letter of medical necessity every time I use my card with the same provider; I have provided it already once. I guess my account with them isn't fluid. Talking to a person hasn't been helpful either; they just tell what is written on the screen. I can read; I need a human's help which they can't provide me. Don't use!!! The better business bureau rates Inspira as "F". My savings were transferred by my former employer (P&G) to Inspira on 12/10/2024. On 12/17 and 12/18 I contacted Inspira regarding my account and was told that I didn't have an account. As of 1/6/2025 I am still trying to access my account in order to move my funds to an IRA at with my financial advisor. Access to my account was accomplished by contacting Inspira in Chicago. Fees accrued are $60! Hours of my time. Its very difficult to remove funds from Inspira and I am still unsuccessful in completing the transaction to my desired financial institutions IRA. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My old employer sent my retirement plan to Inspira and what a mess. Inspira sent me mail letting me know how to open an account. I followed the prompts 3-4 times only for it to respond with an error. I call customer service to which they use a system designed to prevent you from talking to anyone. Once I finally got through, the representative emailed me the same link I could not get into. I tell her it does not work to which she sends me 2 more link and I am finally able to set up my account however I am to wait 24 hours to 5 business days for my account to be verified. After answering all the personal questions to verify who I am to the representative, she refused to answer simple questions about my account. I should not have to be on the phone for an hour to set up an account that I do not even want. I just want my money sent to a reputable company. I was informed that when I transfer my funds to the new company I was going to have to pay Inspira a fee. A FEE FOR WHAT? To get back my money that I did not want them to have. What a fraudulent company. Inspira never had my consent to have my funds in the first place but at least they're going to get theirs. I'm glad I work to give them money for free. I am very unimpressed with the process to have access to accounts. The back office IT department is seriously issues. We have been calling for over two months and I have been told we cannot access the accounts and the funds that were placed here from an employer plan. The customer service agents either aren't training properly or they hate their jobs We have seriously called over10 times and we get the same response that there is a "glitch" in the system and I cannot access my funds on the website. We continue to call to get access to the funds because we cannot log online and they keep telling me wait 10 days.... more like two months. If I could leave a no star review about this firm I would definitely do it!!!! I was forced to receive a debit card from Inspira Financial services instead of cash/check after closing an employer 401k account (residual of $160 bucks, had withdrawn other funds prior to employer switching to Inspira for portfolio management). This was after calling for several days straight to their "help" line to try and find out how to close out the account and withdraw the cash (note: this was after leaving an email in their system which was supposed to have 24 hour response time, never received a response, go figure). Their help line kept putting me on hold and eventually dropping me from the call. As I said this went on for several days until I was finally able to get a hold of a live person after navigating through a ton of "click a number option" selections and being placed on hold. The representative then proceeds to tell me they can't issue a check to me for the amount but only a debit card. My jaw drops to the ground as I ask him what type of financial entity are they? Are they managing issuing debit cards for customers who are getting a manufacturer's rebate for buy a refrigerator or toilet??? In my 45 years of employment I'd never encountered this before. Ultimately I simply agree to the debit card as it wasn't worth the effort argue with them. To add insult to injury, Inspira charges me fees for issuance of the debit card and additional processing fees for the privilege of them managing these funds for the debit card. Ultimately the card is issued for a total of $80!!!!!! I understand some funds were withheld for fed/state taxes. But 50% didn't go to taxes. And when I read the paperwork which comes with the stupid card, the fine print states they will charge a monthly service fee for account management. I have never encountered such miserable financial service in my entire life. In comparison to them, highway robbers seem relatively honest. Needless to say I will never, ever do business with them voluntarily in the future. I will keep my money in my mattress before handing it to them. If you are still thinking about using them, I'd strongly advise reading the fine print carefully before leaving any money in their hands. read more

All they do is respond to my emails every 4th day with a generic email advising me with the same canned instructions that has not worked for me. Horrible company. Horrible customer service. Trying to transfer my HSA to a new company out of Inspira. They charge a monthly fee since I am no longer putting money into that account. It has been 4 weeks since they received my transfer form and they say it will take another 4-6 weeks to process. They will charge me for the transfer and continue to charge monthly fees until the transfer is complete. When I spoke to Elibert he was rude and kept asking me for sensitive information to "verify" my account. When I asked to speak to a manager about the excessive fees, he refused and said no one would be willing to credit the monthly fees while waiting for Inspira to process the transfer. As mentioned in most of the reviews, this company is a mere custodian of OUR flexible spending account, yet when it comes to approving health payments (the main and sole reason for their existence), they refuse to approve notwithstanding provision of evidence. The whole process is an administrative nightmare ending up in OUR accounts and funds being frozen. What happens with all the unspent balances from previous years? who is keeping it and/or making interest on them? I will bring this up with my company's benefits department and I hope together we can bring enough complaints at a federal level to inquire into (and hopefully fix) this process. read more

There are no EOB's for a prescription from CVS!!!THEN they say to simply upload to match the year in question..."we only need that one EOB and we will turn your card back on". What a frustrating company to deal with. My IRA was transferred to them by a previous company; their choice, not mine. Inspira rebranded from Millinium Trust (MTrust). A few of the issues I've had: - Difficult to log into, especially post rebrand. I have to log in through the old MTrust url despite their correspondence using the newer Inspira url. - Difficult to reach. - Difficult to work with. Their customer support staff is condescending, interruptive, and generally unhelpful. - Difficult to get money out of. I've been trying to transfer my IRA for quite a while and we're still going in circles. - Their technology and/or processes are outdated. For example, to get a statement, I had to send a request. The next week, I received a password protected PDF but had to call their difficult and contrarian support number to get the password to open the PDF. If you are unfortunate enough to have your money moved to them, I suggest you start moving the money to another firm now. read more

Talk about a scammers!! I got laid off and have been trying to contact them since. Everything I called, I was put on hold for hours and / or no one could give me a straight answer - it was always some kind of BS that didnt add up or align with what was said on their website. So I basically lost my FSA because they were taking their sweet time getting back to me. I should've been more persistant but with getting laid off, having a a family and looking for jobs (in this crazy job market); calling and keeping on top of them wasn't my main priority. I was a Nuview customer for many years and very satisfied with the service. Now, I can't even find out what happened to a payment from the company for which I hold the note. You know....my own money that I can't access because they have suspended my card...after submitting the receipt my dental office provided me. It's literally MY money that I used to pay for dental work, yet I can't seem to access it because my receipts get denied. Ughhhh-this place is so frustrating and I'm really contemplating not even having an FSA next year. I'd rather just put the money aside and be able to actually use it.
