Many people seem to be happy with Carolyn agency, I unfortunately had a very poor experience. When I asked about the risk of the claim and being dropped as a customer in the future her team claimed there was no risk. (My other options were to pay for the repairs myself or pursue legal action with previous owner as the damage was within 2 months of home purchase). Her team was pressing to create the claim record even before I had an estimates. My gut told me know, but I went ahead assuming her team was providing expert advice. I asked repeatedly throughout the claim process...at one point even told that I should have filed my claim even sooner and not waited while I was getting the lowest quotes and asking these questions. Well, not surprisingly I was dropped by State Farm and now with this claim on my record I am having difficulty getting different insurance. I'm guessing the next 10 years I will be paying through the nose for insurance ONCE I even find an agency to insure me. Very disappointed in Carolyn and her team. Be very, very leary of filing claims. If you gut contradicts what her team is saying, go with your gut and not with her team.

Carolyn helped me set up my retirement, my husband and I have life insurance now for our children and of course we now are covered adequately for our auto and home. And I know no one wants to pay a lot for insurance-I was able to make sure I got all the discounts I qualified for. Thanks for always being kind and personable with my many, I'm sure annoying, phone calls, questions, and policy changes over the years!

That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident. Insurance can be complicated, but having the right agent makes all the difference. Bill and his team have consistently provided the kind of service that gives real peace of mind. Whether it's auto, home, or life coverage, I've trusted them through every stage--even after relocating 3,000 miles away five years ago. What truly sets this office apart is the people. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with Judy, Lynn, Jeanne, and now Elizabeth--each one professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. When you call or email, you can count on a timely response, and when they say they'll follow up, they absolutely do. And every so often, Bill himself will personally check in, which speaks volumes about his commitment to his clients. Yes, State Farm may not always be the cheapest option, but in my experience, you truly get what you pay for. When something goes wrong and you need to file a claim, having a team like this in your corner makes all the difference. Their support is thorough, reliable, and reassuring during stressful times. Even though I now work with a local State Farm agent as well, I will never leave Bill and his office. Their level of service has earned my trust for decades. If you're in Naperville or the greater Chicagoland area and looking for an agent you can truly rely on, I highly recommend Bill Gigler and his team.

We brought him 2 auto, 2 homes and 1 business policy. Unfortunately, things have not gone well. Sandy, who works with Jim, made numerous mistakes with policy information and their office allowed our second home policy and flood insurance to lapse without even as much as a phone call. We thought we were set up on autopay but were only set up on auto-renew. We had no idea the policy had lapsed and during this time there was a major flooding incident on The Chain of Lakes that we were affected by. Fortunately we incurred no substantial damage. It was only by accident 5 months later we figured out the policies were no longer in force. When we exchanged emails with Sandy, asking why we were not ever called because we would never have allowed our policies to lapse, her response was that State Farm mailed us 3 bills and we failed to pay them. While I am sure what she states was true, we thought we were set up on autopay and didn't think twice about it. What happened to good old customer service? How about a phone call or an email? Given the fact that great service is the only thing that distinguished one agent from another, we have elected to move our State Farm Insurance to another agent who does actually call or email their clients when policy premiums go unpaid just to make sure there wasn't a miscommunication. I highly recommend you seek to find an agent who's attention to detail and interest in serving their clients is higher than Jim Danko's. Very disappointing and could have been a catastrophic experience for us. Thank God it was not.
