When the dress came, it was massive (I wear a size 6) and had to be taken in 3" from the sides, 2-3"+ from the hemline, and the straps had to be moved. Basically, the whole top of the dress had to be redone. Since I live 2 hours away, I had my local tailor (who has very reasonable rates) do the tailoring and it cost $100. Sister's refused to reimburse me for the excessive amount of tailoring that was needed, even partially, and never acknowledged that they ordered me the wrong size. Furthermore, they did extra work on my sister's dress when she had it tailored at their store, charging her for work on the waist that was not needed (the fabric at the waist is sheer and falls A-line, so no tailoring was necessary). She too was ordered a larger size than needed (10) when an 8 would have fit her much better. Poor customer service, and what seems like intentional upsizing.

SHOULDNT EVEN GET 1 STAR! i went to go get my prom dress…read morealtered and i was told it wouldn't be too expensive because i didn't need much of an alter. she asked if i wanted bustles (not knowing what they were) and i said yes but then later on i ended up telling her that i wouldn't need them because my dress isn't in my way when i walk. i chose to not get them because my dress was already really expensive and i didn't want to add more onto it. it took her a couple weeks to alter it and when i went to go try it on, SHE ADDED BUSTLES AND SEWED RIGHT THROUGH MY DRESS!!!! i couldn't comfortably put it on without thinking i was going to rip something. she fixed it and i ended up telling her that i didn't need the bustles and i asked for her to NOT add them but she did. i brought it up asking for my $30 OVER CHARGE and Vallari the owner, said that i should've talked to her about it in the first place and should've of made her drive "all the way BACK to town to fix it" when she's the one who messed it up in the first place. she told me that she doesn't write random stuff down on a paper just to over charge people when i specifically told her to NOT add the bustles. she told me she won't be refunding ALL of my money because she used the materials and time. she asked for my venmo and RUDELY hung up on me when i was telling it to her. i messaged her my venmo and i ended up having to call her TWO times leaving voice mails each time complaining that she STILL hasn't venmoed me for the money she owes me. i called the store and she said that she venmoed me THIS morning after a week of her avoiding my calls and texts. The owner goes so far as to blame us for every mistake, offering very little real sympathy, and attempting to explain it all away with impertinent arguments and a severe lack of knowledge as to what actually happened.
