I wanted to leave a review for this office because they were absolutely amazing. I have extreme dental anxiety.. so the entire week I was dreading coming. I had to have a filling replaced. When I got there the front desk was very welcoming. The dentists assistant came to get me and she immediately made me feel less anxious by explaining everything to me and reassuring me it will be super easy... not to mention she was super sweet. The dentist was super awesome also and explained everything to me and assured me I shouldn't feel any pain... and I didn't ! I ended up having to get a crown over my tooth and it all happened same day which was also a HUGE bonus! I highly recommend this office. THIS office is absolutely AMAZING! I came in with tooth pain that I had been left with from another dental office and the entire team was so kind and patient. They took the time to explain all my options clearly and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. The office staff is amazing--so friendly and welcoming. They ended up sending me to a partner specialist but they coordinated everything for me, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. I truly felt cared for from start to finish. Highly recommend!!! The best staff anyone could ask for! I shopped around for my family and struggled to find the right fit for all age groups. This place is worth our 20 min commute. Dr Heap and Dr Yates are so kind, passionate, and very easy to communicate with. The services I had here was at the end of 2022. In my initial visit I had an exam and we set up a game plan. Chemotherapy had ruined my teeth. In the top, I just had 2 front teeth and 2 canines. We decided to pull all 4 top teeth and I would get dentures. On the bottom, I just had 4 teeth as well, but the dentist thought the bottom ones were ok, except needing a filling on one. Needing a variety of services, I had a good chance to interact with pretty much everyone there. The dentist, his assistant, FO, the finance lady that helps coordinate your treatment, the Dr. that actually pulled my teeth, and the denturist. My experience varied depending on who I was dealing with. The dentist and the finance lady were both solid 5's. When I visited that dentist he was just so kind, conversational, caring and empathetic. The finance lady seemed highly intelligent, a great listener, and just very personable. So, dealing with both was just a WOW experience. I really liked them both. The assistant was also a 5, maybe not quite as personable as the dentist, but really all you would want. She was very sweet and offered bottled water or lip gloss. The Dr. that pulled my teeth, I would rate a 4. He is overall very good at what he does. I was nervous and I appreciated how he was nice and also super fast. What happened though is he gave me the numbing shots then let it take effect and started pulling. I knew something was wrong though because when he was pulling out one of my canines it hurt like heck and I practically jumped up. He said something like, oh it's ok and continued and then I didn't feel the rest of the extractions. But what I discovered later, is around that canine he actually ripped the gum going up towards the top lip. That's why it hurt, because my gum wasn't numbed that far up. The 4 star isn't because he did that but more that he didn't tell me he did that. I was bleeding a lot for hours and wasn't sure why. That was probably why. Plus, they put in my new dentures right away and said they had to be in for 24 hrs. So, I didn't see that until I took my dentures out. It's not a huge big deal, I just wish they would have told me. I would rate the denturist as a 2. I think they would be better off maybe to have him work in the lab only with no public contact. He talked to me kind of in a condescending way. He also only talked to me standing behind my chair. I thought it was weird so I looked over and didn't see him doing anything and wondered why he wouldn't face me. My appointment with him was to get impressions and discuss dentures. They wanted to have the top denture ready before they pulled out my teeth. The dentist made it sound like I would have choices on what kind of dentures I would have. I asked him about what choices I have and he just said my natural teeth were too long and I could have shorter teeth. I said okay that sounds good any other choices? But he didn't present me with any. I needed a basic impression of my top teeth and also a bite impression. The denturist said he would just do one impression that day but wanted me to come back another day for the bite one. I started to object but he said he would go make an appointment for me and walked out of room. I was really annoyed because first of all, I didn't think I needed two appointments. Each impression takes about 5 minutes - why not do at same time? Also, how would he go set up an appointment without even asking what day or time would be good. When he returned we argued a little. I said I don't have time to come back, he didn't seem to care. Then I approached it differently and said if we have to have another appointment for the bite impression, we'll have to also reschedule the extraction, then he did care. So, he went ahead and did both impressions but I just had bad vibes off this guy. After the extraction, they put in the new dentures and then you return in a few days for any adjustments. The dentures were incredibly painful to take off or put on so they needed adjustment and I had to see the denturist again. He shaved it or whatever, put it back in my mouth and I said that's comfortable. Then he asked for them again and started shaving off more. So, they were really loose in my mouth. I think he probably shaved off too much but I was just ready to get out and I was like ok bye thanks. Then I walked up to FO. So that leads me to their rating... I would say the FO is 4. When I was checking out they asked if I was getting my dentures adjusted. I said they just were, but I couldn't really talk because they kept falling down. The only complaint on FO is when I said that, I notice she kind off smirked at another lady there. I thought that was kind of rude. On the other hand, we're all just human and overall they had been nice and I'm not really sure what that meant anyway. If I go back, I would definitely go there for dental care. Although, I don't think I'll get my bottom denture there. read more

I've been going to Dr. Heap for years and I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. First of all, I don't have dental insurance which kind of blows but Heap and Bunker offer an in-house patient program for people like me. For an enrollment fee (which last an entire year), I get two free sets of X-rays, two cleanings for $25 each, and 25% off all non cosmetic dental procedures with a $10 co-pay per visit. The enrollment fee pays for itself after your first visit. Who doesn't like saving money? When I arrive for my appointments I am always greeted with a big beautiful smiles and a welcoming hellos by all the staff. The dental hygienists are all awesome but I personally love Becca the most. She's so gentle and sweet and I feel completely at ease with her hands in my mouth scraping away at my teeth. My brother has had crooked teeth for as long as I can remember. He did their "6 Month Smile" which is braces put only on your front teeth that are visible when you smile. 6 month later he can now flash his pearly whites with pride because they are nicely aligned. One of my most favorite things about Heap and Bunker is their state of the art technology. They have this machine that can make a perfectly fitting crown while you wait!! It takes 3D images of your teeth and then BAM, magic happens and your crown is ready. No need to make a mold out of that gross goo, no temporary crown, no ill fitting crown that always causes you grief. Just perfectly fitting goodness. I confidently recommend Heap and Bunker to EVERYONE!! There's no excuse to dread going to the dentist anymore! read more

My family has been coming here for 2 years since we moved here from Georgia. We love the dentists and the hygienist's. They are warm, caring, wonderful and friendly. I brought my 6 year old in to have a cavity filled recently, when I was getting ready to pay, the office manager Jeanette came out and stopped me. She told me I had a credit on my account and not to worry about it. So I left. Within about 10 minutes she called me and said she had made a mistake and I did not have a credit. It was Friday and the office closed in a few minutes. I was driving so I told her to call me on Monday. She did not. I had forgotten about it, a few days later I get a text saying I had a past due balance? Then my husband received the same text? A few days later we get a letter in the mail with a big hot pink sticker on the front saying past due. Then she called my husband and said that she is calling him because she can't get a hold of me? She didn't call me? She called him and scolded me? I felt harassed and felt she was being way to aggressive with a patient who 's entire family has been going there for 2 years! We've paid thousands of dollars to their office in that time. I could understand her aggressive stance on collecting the payment if we were new patients or just passing through town. Back in the day, dentists offices like Inspire Dental just didn't exist. Enough bad experiences and you just quit going and power thru whatever it is. 2 kids, 16 years later and a move across the country 2 years ago and I found myself in need of a dentist as I just could not power thru the infection any longer. After much searching on yelp and an unexpected recommendation from a co-worker, I called. Inspire Dental scheduled me in the same day, less than 3 hours after my call. I left with an antibiotic and a follow up appointment for an extraction a week later. 4 days into the script and omg wasn't I feeling better!! Now, first encounter? Talk about not expecting what I received. A warm welcome, a full tour of the office, a long talk with my dental hygienist who literally sat with me for 45 minutes just talking cause I couldn't just stop crying. Not from pain but from pure fear and they didn't even poke at me, lol. Next appointment, extraction. Same warm welcome, hugs and I really felt like they were happy that I came back. Next fear, needles. We powered thru that, cried some more, again, all fear not because of pain. Both my hygienist and Dr. Heap are the 2 most gentle people I have EVER met in a dental setting. They were both very attentive to my emotional well being as well as my pain threshold. Now we are making a plan..... Next appointment, periodontal cleaning. Past cleanings were not the best, again, so long ago. However, this was broken up into 2 sessions. Every step that took place during those 2 sessions I knew what was coming, right down to the irrigation thing that looked like a needle, but it was not. No surprises, less tears, both appointments. Next appointment, the money maker....... So today, morning appointment, on a Monday......joy. Strange because I was looking forward to it. Why? I knew I'd be welcome like family, the worst part of the whole thing was going to be the tiny novocain needle. And even that was not horrible, at all! We were done in less than 3 hours and I now have a GORGEOUS smile (front temp crowns). Oh and ps the temps were made while I was there today. I'll be returning in 2 weeks for the permanents and I'm super stoked for that appointment!!! And not one tear today either! There was not one thing that was ever a surprise during any of my appointments so far. Nor do I anticipate there ever will be. We still have some work ahead of us but I definitely am in very good hands with Dr. Heap and his work family. I hope this review helped some of you trying to decide on a new dentist. I know with unwavering certainty that Dr Heap, Inspire Dental, the entire work family will be my dentist of choice for the rest of my life. I had a broken crown and did not have a dentist (moved from Ohio), called a few different offices w/o any response. H&B answered and gave me a consult appointment within an hour. The front office staff are very professional and explained the paperwork needed. The Dr. (Dr. Kris) and asst were better than polite, they treated me as if I were a longtime patient and made certain I was apprised of all that was necessary and had the cost explained before any other work was done. There was zero pressure to use their services and explained the high end cost as well as the basic. The fact that they have their own crown making ability on site was a big factor in agreeing to the work. My new permanent crown was done and I was out the door in just over an hour, the cost ended being the low end which was great as they didn't try to upcharge for an unscheduled service. My husband tells me he is the biggest baby when it comes to dental work, he is traumatized by it. But he broke a tooth and had no choice but to go. Choosing these two doctors was the right choice, they were gentle, concerned, easy on him and every thing they did was very professional! Office clean and every one in there was very nice. Dr. Hep went out of his way to make my husbands experience comfortable for him, so much so that he had Dr. Bunker come in and remove the tooth, because "Dr. Bunker likes doing that part more than Dr. Heap"! I had the best experience at Inspire Dental. As a new patient, I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with my name being displayed on their welcome board and a smile from the woman at the front desk. She introduced herself and although I don't remember her name, she did a great job of creating a very positive environment for me and everyone else who checked in today. Every person I met introduced themselves by name and greeted me in a very friendly and welcoming manner. Before and during my cleaning, my hygienist Sarah explained every step in detail. She took the x-rays quickly and painlessly (which was a first for me!) and cleaned my teeth thoroughly without causing any discomfort. Sarah also took the time before and during my cleaning to get to know me, which made me feel valued and even cared for! When Dr. Heap came in, he started our visit by getting to know about me and asking if I had any concerns-and then listening to me, which was awesome. He carefully reviewed my x-rays and shared one area of concern without pressuring me to get more services. My experience today was so awesome, I would recommend any business owner struggling to retain customers or patients, to take notes on what these folks are doing.
